Sonos 5 & turntable & CD Player

Hi, I am planning to buy a sonos 5 and a turntable to start listening to old LPs, I would also like to listen to old CD collections, the questions are:

Can you recommend a CD player I should buy?
Can I use the external port on the sonos 5 for a CD player.
Is it possible to use a twin adapter so I can have both CD and Turntable connected to the single Sonos 5 external port?

Can you recommend a CD player I should buy?What is your budget?
