Moved into new place with the typical Bose (dumb) speakers in the ceiling...wires hanging out of wall in cabinet.   I have 3 Sonos speakers working great now - but hate to see these existing built-in speakers go to waste.  How can I use them as part of my system?  Assume there’s some device I’d need to purchase, then hook up to the speaker wires?  Info I’ve found online is a bit sketchy - so I will appreciate  the specifics on how to make this happen.  THANK YOU

I have a sonos beam and wish to connect it to a cd-player. Is this impossible or can I buy some sort of box that the cd-player can be connected with, which also connects to a sonos beam?

I’m french guy living in Sri Lanka.I’m using two Connect Amp1 with wifi.My iPod is connected with RCA behind one of Connect Amp.Until recently, music source selected to listen my Spotify playlists was through my iPod (see enclosed picture). Cause here in Sri Lanka datas for wifi are not unlimited and GB packages expensive, so I have downloaded all my Spotify playlists not to spend datas and it worked perfectly.Recently, no sound is coming when iPod is selected as source in Spotify app.Music only works using Sonos App. I have to select Bureau + Bureau 2 (my two Sonos amplifiers) on selected source on Spotify app on my iPod and then only works through Sonos App.So I feel it’s using Spotify in a way i don’t know, and not my iPod Spotify playlists, cause my GB are spend much every day…Any help would be grateful, Thanks ! 

J’ai déjà reçu ma barre de son Beam 2, mais je suis incapable de la connecter! J’ai toujours un message me disant qu’un appareil interfère avec la connexion HDMI.Pourtant, j’ai seulement le décodeur qui est branché dans le HDMI 1.Je dois faire quoi pour me débarasser de cet interférence? 

I have 3 connect:amp running at the moment and one amp shuts down after plugging it in after about 5 seconds. No amber light, it just goes white when plugged in and then turns off. The outlet is powered and stable. Previously the amp worked fine for years so I don’t think it is a short in the speaker system, as nothing has changed. one day it was turned off and now it won’t turn on.  I don’t know the specifics of the speakers - my landlord has them installed and they are built into the wall.  Any suggestions?

I have an original LG oled B6 TV which does not have eArc.Currently I am using a Denon 5.1.4 setup and have my sources plugged into the Denon and my 2nd HDMI out into the Syncbox, everything works perfectly.Is the HDMI on the Arc bi directional?Would this workSources-SyncBox-Arc-TVAs from my understanding going this other route loses me Hi Res audioSources-SyncBox-TV-Arc as wouldSources-TV-SyncBox-ARC which would also render the syncbox useless

Beam has been connected to LG tv, ARC input for about 3 months. On about 1/12/21 there was a Virgin Media tv outage, which appeared to coincide with an LG software update. The TV & VM box had to be powered off to reset. Since then the Beam cannot be reconnected. Error msg “A device is interfering with the hdmi connection” - But nothing is connected, all is as was before the VM outage 

Hi everybody,I’ve juste have my new Sonos Beam Gen 2.When I've tried to link my Apple Music account with the Sonos App, nothing happened.I’ve chose the “I am already a customer” option, and after that nothing happened, only a white screen.My wife try on her phone (meine is Xiamo Mi9TPRO and her is a redmi note 7), and the result is the same. Does anyone have the same problem, or better, a solution ? Thanks from France.

I would like to stream music into my receivers (I have 2) - will a splitter on 1 Port work for 2 Receivers? 

With the recent announcement of Amazon HD music support I was wondering if your playback source effects if music is HD or not. I stream my music via wi-fi from my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra and am not sure if playback is in true HD or do I need an external converter. Thanks for your help.

Sonos one speakers set up as surrounds, but one stops playing sound after a few seconds but still shows connected.

Playbar with two play 1 speakers. After reconnecting them one of the play1 has no sound but can control the volume

Does anyone know if I can setup a Beam 2 and configure in-ceiling speakers for the down firing Atmos elements (instead of relying on the Beam 2 virtual up-firing ) ?(i’m awaiting installation so apologies if this question has an obvious answer, and i’m using completely incorrect terminology)Thanks

Hi! Playbar connected to Samsung tv. No real issues for several years since new. Suddenly the volume increases to max automatically. Whenever I press almost any button on Samsung remote this happens. I’ve done complete Wi-Fi reset. Tv reset. Remote reset. Playbar reboot and reset. No fix yet. Can anyone help? Thank you!!

Hello people,  I just realized that my Pandora (opened on Sonos app) only shows and plays 4 of my 80 channels.  When I try to turn on Sonos from Pandora app I get an error message saying system unavailable.  It works fine from Sonos controller but with only 4 channels showing .  I have removed and reinstalled the app and it still just shows (same) 4 channels.  Has anyone run into this issue or have a fix?  

I placed my order a couple days ago and even placed another one to see if it changed anything but I have 0 information about my order. By this I mean I didn't receive any confirmation email or anything.  I don’t know what to do :(

Hi guys, need some advice here. My tv console design is that the tv is in a cupboard  with wooden cupboard doors. So the beam will go into the cupboard. I also place a pair of Sonos one outside the tv console cabinet (on top of cupboard and at the side) so that i can listen to music alone with just the pair of sonos one (with the Beam power off and inside the cabinet. Now my question is as i am setting up the audio for best experience,I shouldn’t use trueplay tuning right? As my beam is always off and cupboard door close whenever i am not watching tv and only listening to audio only? Beam is usually power off with the tv (no tv no beam so cupboard door closed), will the sonos one pair be intelligent enough to know beam is off and adjust the audio accordingly to maximise the speakers potential? CheersJim

First off, thanks for any assistance.I have 3 VLANs, one for each of my businesses in a strip. Business 1, 2, 3. I have a UAP in each unit, and attached to its respective VLAN.  9/10 Sonos products are connected to unit 1s SSID, and all have an xxx.xxx.11.xxx IP address.1/10 Sonos Products is connected to unit 3s SSID and have an xxx.xxx.34.xxx IP address.Heres the kicker.I can access and use the controller on mobile devices via wifi, regardless of which SSID I am connected to. Hi guys - we recently moved to a new house which is long and the router is at one end (cannot be easily moved / rewired due to where Verizon set it up). At the other end of the house, we have an extender to with a different SSID to allow access for some of our other devices - TV, laptop, phones, etc. As for the Sonos, we have (i) a Play 5, (ii) Sonos Beam, (iii) three Play 1’s, and (iv) a Move. The Play 5 is hardwired to our router and broadcasts a ‘Sonos-Only Wifi’ around the house. I sometimes have issues with one of the Play 1’s and the Move, which are both at the other end of the house, dropping out intermittently when music is being played. I believe maybe with the Play 1, the issue may be because it is too far from one of the other speakers to transmit the Sonos-Only Wifi. Based on my other research, does the Move now use the ‘Sonos-Only Wifi’? If so, any recommendations on best way to achieve seamless sound? Would a mesh system would be the best / only solution here? ----------E

This is still a ongoing issue for me no matter how many times I reboot, reinstall, etcit now plays silence for the first 10 seconds of songs sometimes along with the usual faults - song not encoded correctly skipping past added next song.I used to love my Sonos set up but over the last 6 months it’s been absolute rubbish. Im still not sure if it’s a Sonos, spotify or router fault. will this ever be solved? I was at one point thinking of buying a roam but with how this lot performs I don’t think I’ll bother.  so frustrating 🤦🏼

Hey:I started to use my Sonos system for surround sound.Since I switched from stereo to surround sound, my Sub started to make a low-frequency popping sound. I think this happens whenever the system enables surround sound.I submitted a diagnostics report: 1110098891It would be great if I could get some help.Best wishes,Martin

I just signed up YouTube music service and want to try it out on my Sonos. However, I found one of my favorite playlist could not be played via sonos. Most of the songs are greyed out. The error meesage is “ Access denied” Anyone has similar experience and how to resolve it?
