I am setting up a Sony XBR65A8G, signal source is Apple TV 4K and using ARC from the TV to the Sonos ARC.
The Sonos app reports only stereo PCM. I have tried fiddling with the Sony TV settings, to no avail.
Any ideas? someone familiar with XBR65A8G?

In the Apple TV’s audio settings, set Change Format to On and Audio Format to Dolby Digital.
FYI… you cannot get Dolby Atmos audio from the Apple TV because your TV is not equipped with eARC.
