Hello. I bought my Sonos system in 2015, and in 2018 they went with our household belongings into storage.  I have resurrected them and have gathered that I had to reset it.  Then it asked if I wanted to update to S2, which I did, but my play one wasn't compatible so I reset it again.  Then I didn’t get Spotify on it, so reset it again.  But this time I get the message at the top of the app “not connected to the internet” when it is.  I turned the router off and on.  Is it possible I have reset it too many times.  And why could I not see the “add services” button so I could get iHeart and Spotify onto it when I did have it connected.  It’s all very frustrating

I have 3 rooms in my house:1 Room with Sonos One2 Rooms with Amazon Echo(all have Alexa obviously)  What is the best way to have all 3 play the same music at the same time?  ThanksAsaf

Good morning I hope you can help please? I have purchased a Sonos beam 2 to go along with my LG c1 telly and was wondering what settings I need to have on my LG to receive Dolby Atmos?I have been on Amazon and Netflix on my virgin V6 media box and I am only getting Dolby digital 5.1 plus when it should be atmos . Could you please advise as I am not sure if I have my settings wrong on my LG.thanks in advance for your help  Matt :)

Hello I’ve been experiencing a problem with my Sonos Move for the last few days.It has been working flawlessly for a year. Now, playing radios stations with TuneIn is completely broken. Every couple minutes or so, the sound stops for 2-4 seconds, then resumes a few seconds to an anterior state, ie. before it was cut (meaning I hear the same sounds a second time). No matter what station I select, no matter what device I use (I have a phone and a tablet, both on Android), I have this problem with TuneIn. Everything is up to date, network is properly configured, it just started to behave like this a few days ago for no apparent reason.I don’t think it’s related to my network, as I have no problem listening to radio with other apps on my devices. It happens only with Sonos app, only with TuneIn. Any idea? 

Hi,  I’m unable to get surround sound working on my Nintendo Switch with my Beam gen 2 on an LG CX. Here are the configurations I’ve tried:Enabling e-arc and setting the switch tv audio settings to surround sound Disabling and reenabling e-arc Setting HDMI input source to passthrough Turning off both the tv and switch with switch set to surround sound Hoping someone has better luck out there than me and can help.

So my Sony XBR55 X900E will only send audio through the built in speakers. I have a HD Fury setup with AppleTV 4K, Nvidia Shield, & Firestick all work like they should. Is this proper or did I mess something up? 

My mini-controller sits atop all open windows on my Mac.  Is it possible to have the mini-controller more transparent so it doesn’t obscure other windows?  Or is it possible to have the mini-controller float or appear underneath other windows?

I’ve been running two ones and a move on S1. They are all supposedly S2 compatible, but when I went to switch, S2 says the Move is not compatible.  This clearly should not be the case.  How do I get the Move to work on S2?   I don’t mind removing it, factory resetting it, etc., but just don’t want to go down a road where I have an unusable speaker.  Thanks.  

Often there’s a loud pop / bang noise and then the Sonos Arc stops outputting sound.  I have to switch sources and back for it to work again.  Really troubling and I fear something is wrong with the hardware.  I bought this earlier this year.I notice it happens a lot when I start playing on my Xbox Series X.  Also got an Apple TV 4K and sometimes it’s happened there as well I think.It sounds very much like a gunshot - very loud.  I have it connected to my LG CX.  No other issues except for this really scary bang which sounds like it’s gonna blow my speakers up.  It’s been going randomly for a couple months now that I think of it.  

Hello all! I am currently having issues trying to use the Mac OS Sonos S1 controller app with my external HDD that is connected over a USB cord. Strangely, I get this error ever time I try to add a folder directory to my music library from the HDD.  I´ve also found that Sonos will pickup my iTunes library and will not denote any local files, such as on my desktop. Additionally, file type seems to be irrelevant, it refuses to accept mp3, FLAC, M4A, or WAV, unless of course they´re in iTunes. So, how would I go about solving this disaster?  Error Issue Photo Thank you!!!

The right speaker has become silent. I dont know why. I can controll both from the top, but no sound is coming out of it.What can I do?? 

I have a problem where spotify skips beginning of song or skips a song entirely. Sonos has a message that says it lost connection to spotify. I don’t think it’s a spotify problem as I use spotify on other platforms and never had any problems. The device is the Sonos Five. It is connected via ethernet cable. I have tried multiple cables and even directly into the modem. Diagnostic code: 1357360969

Once I get my Beam Gen 2 setup, do I need to do anything to remove my original Beam from association with my account to free it up for another happy home?

I’ve had SO MANY ISSUES with the Sonos Roam! It wouldn’t connect to my WiFi network for the longest time until I connected it to a random friend’s network and then shut it down and then tried mine again. I finally connected SONOS to WiFi but it still barely connects to my router which has extremely high speeds (I even worked with the router company to sort it out). The real problem though is with Bluetooth because the music CONSTANTLY skips and sometimes even warps the sound (the key of the song will become distorted at random points). There is nothing wrong with my connection because my phone is literally right next to the speaker and I keep putting it different places but the issue keeps happening… So disappointed and every time I contact customer support they ask me redundant questions and have me go through the same processes that don’t resolve anything. Anyone else experiencing this? It’s so frustrating and makes me consider leaving the SONOS community altogether. Such a headache

Hi there,I was wondering if anyone had much experience with recessing a Sonos beam gen1 into a wall cavity? I know it has side speakers which would be impacted but is there a level of clearance I can give them in the wall cavity for them to be less hampered? Also I have two Sonos 1’s, could I use these as front sides to negate the impact of the potentially hampered side speakers of the beam?? Will truplay tuning potentially get around some these issues?Thanks in advance for your help.

I’ve had Sonos products since 2006.  I had the OG controller with the dock.  How is it that now you have 2 apps and one is not compatible with the other yet my old bridge and AMP system play off Sonos S2 until I reset my phone or try to add my 2 new SLs?   If I remove everything and only add my 2 SL then it clears all my settings and won’t let me re add my Spotify.  Guys seriously this is worthless.  Returning these 2 $400 worth of trash and going to find a new product.  You just lost a loyal customer you had for 16 years.

Can i make this setup working Center Speaker  - Arc Rear Speaker - One SL - R/L Subwoofer - Sonos Sub Mid Above Sound - Sonance in celling speaker - pair Rear above sound - Sonance in celling speaker - Pair    Can I make this setup or not ? or do I have to use 3rd party AVR like Denon or ?if yes then I have to use 2 Sonos Amp for in celling speaker or just 1 AMP.   Please Suggest

I am thinking of buying the new Beam but also getting 2 extra speakers for surround sound. I’ve read the document on how to , in general, setup surround sound speakers. It states that they need to be in line of sight to the device (Beam it would be in my case). However I was planning on tucking the extra speakers down and to either side of the sofa. They won’t be in line of sight. Is this going to cause me a problem? What may not work?

Hi, when I'm playing my music through grouped speakers some of the speakers that are grouped cut in and out while others carry on playing ?

We have 6 Sonos speakers in the house and since day 1 the volume cuts off randomly. It stops for random periods as well. The only way to switch it on is to increase the volume up and down. We were told that it’s because our WiFi is very low, but we’ve now upgraded the all over the house and no issues but the problem is still there. Anyone has the same issue? Amy tips what it could be? Thanks

Can someone please explain me  I want to understand that is it possible to control Sonos speakers with 3r party Automation App for example : Control 4 , Crestron or Saavan .Is it possible to control from all these. apps ?? And which is  the. most successful brand for automation with Sonos Products ??
