Hello,I have recently bought Sonos One speaker (Sonos OS: S2; Version 13.3) and successfully set it up. I can play music for example from Sonos Radio or Spotify and everything works as expected.But when trying to use AirPlay on different devices (iPhone XR / iPhone 6s / Mac Air) although I am able to see Sonos speakers in the list of available, I keep constantly receiving “Unable to connect to Sonos One” message.I have already gone through various suggested in this case steps found here in Sonos community (Reset, Restart, etc) but all of them don’t work for me. Could you please help?

I have read all previous posts about adding SMB1 and this has been done, I have also set up a user and given read permission to the Music shared folder. The Synology NAS is DS420j running DSM 7.0.1-42218. After I enter the username and password the Error message is “Access to the shared folder “192.168.0.200/music” is denied - check the username and/or password.” I have confirmed by also using my username, which has access to everything, and I get the same error.I am able to access the shared folder from my smart TV which is getting access through the Synology Media Server, therefore I don’t believe there is any issues with the WiFi network. Any help will be greatly appreciated. 

I'm having massive issues with both my Sonos systems (Amp and One SL).After some minutes Spotify just pauses and drops the connection to the system. I can instantly reconnect, issue comes back after a few minutes. Happens from both Android and macOS app.I didn't change anything in my network, the WiFi is working perfectly. I monitored my wifi and there is not a single package drop from other devices. There are very few WiFis around me, so there isn't much interference. I have exactly this setup since months, issues now started out of nothing.Does anybody have an idea what the cause could be?

Hi everyone.There is a lot of discussion around this and it sounds like my setup won’t work.  I’m new to Sonos, so I’d really like to go with Sonos, so I want to make sure this won’t work before moving on.My intention is to setup Sonos Amp for both my Samsung Frame TV and record player.  The room has 4 surround in-wall dumb speakers.  To make this cost effective, I’d like to keep these speakers and replace the other 2 pairs of ‘in ceiling’ speakers in the house with architectural speakers to play selectively digital music as different rooms.  I’d like to use the existing dumb ceiling speakers for my living room with the TV and record player.  Am I correcting in understanding that because I am setting up as surround for the TV, the amp could not be used to play vinyl out of the dumb surround speakers because the line in is disabled?As a workaround, could the second amp be used as the line in for the record player?  Could it then play the vinyl on the surround setup through the other amp

Hello, I have a question that may be absurd. Does the SONOS Arc have an HDMI ARC or is it HDMI eARC ?. The doubt comes from the fact that on the website, in the summary section, it appears as HDMI eARC but in the specifications it says HDMI ARC. Can someone with SONOS Arc answer? Thank you

Hello. I've got beam (gen2) and first gen symfonisk table lamp. I would like to buy another lamp to make them both work as a pair (surround/stereo system). Will the new generation symfonisk lamp pair with the old one (1st Gen with 2nd Gen)? There is no old gen lamp in shops already in Poland 😔

Can you connect airpods to sonos playbase or thru Sonos app?

I can’t seem to find Virgin Anthems in radio, only Virgin Radio. I have tried copying and pasting Virgin Anthems URL into add radio station in Sonos but that does not work. Any suggestions please?

Has anyone installed a full motion wallmount rack that pulls down as well with a Sanus sound bar extendible TV mount design for Sonos arc. Looking for thoughts on a full motion wallmount that pulls down that the sanus extension can be hooked up to it.

I’ve just migrated my files to a new MacBook M1. Sonos can see all the titles in my music library, but won’t play them because it says the server can’t be found. I don’t get it?

We have a dog and at present we have a radio on all day for her whilst we’re at work.  She goes to Daycare at 10 and returns at 2pm.  I want to set up my Sonos Beam to play a radio station from 8am-10am and then from 2pm-6pm……is this possible? 

Hi,I have never owned any Sonos stuff before and was looking at buying some for home cinema experience. I have SkyQ with Sony TV and was going to buy a beam or Arc but then read all the stories about lip sync issues with Sky. If spending that much I just want something that will just plug in and works.Does everyone have lip sync issues or is it only the exception?Thanks   

A month ago this worked.  Today it does not.  The SONOS S1 app on my mac disappeared, so downloaded the updated one.  But it will not connect to the system.  MacOS 10.13.6 Sonos SystemsBEAM Sonos Boost First gen connect systemsSonos S1 Controller for Mac 11.2.13  Build 57923010 Fast.com WIFI speed:  540 MbpsWas all working fine September 2021.   Have powered all it off, then pulled the power for the BEAM, then tried to start it all as an S1 system but no luck:  “Sorry, we can’t connect to Sonos” from Sonos S1 app on MacOS. Complete iTune library on the MAC, portions on iOS devices.  Able to use IOS devices to drive entire system from music library on IOS devices but that is a subset of the larger music library.  Need the MacOS Sonos S1 app to work at least sufficiently to connect the music library….. Two folks spent 4 hours each on this for 8 hours, multi reboots, can’t get it to work, what will resolve this issue?  And why does it seem like we need to spend 10-20 hours a year on Sonos

Soundbar was working fine before holiday. It was switched off at the mains with all our other electrical items. On return it’s stopped working.Power lead is fine, I have tested on another Sonos product.Any ideas ?

I am planning to buy a used Sonos ZP120 to drive a pair of large speakers that I have.  I already have a pair of Sonos One's in another room that I would like to play in sync with the ZP120.I understand that both the ZP120 and the One's are technology generation S1, so they should be able to be joined together as a Group, right? The manual for the ZP120: https://content.abt.com/documents/20166/ZP120_Setup_Guide.pdf  page 11, shows a separate hardware Controller device.   Can the S1 Control app on my phone do the same thing as this hardware Controller device?If the phone app can talk to the ZP120, Will I be able to adjust bass & treble tone controls on the One's without affecting the ZP120?  Does the ZP120 also have the bass & treble tone control feature?I assume the controller app volume control is a master that affects all systems in the Group. But is there also an option to mute or adjust the volume level in each room separately? Thanks, in advance!

6 Sonos speakers including a Move. When Sonos starts up, it’s either the Move by itself, or the 5 others, never all six at once. (2 Play1, 2 playbar,1 Play3). I have assigned fixed IP addresses. The Move has an address that is not numerically near the others. Play 1 = 192.168.1.168/SonosZP-8, Move = 192.168.1.248. Tried everything I could think of. Rebooting, etc. Any ideas?

Trying to set up Sonos beam in a different property . Have Sonos beam already working in another house but when trying to set one up in this house do I need another app , which when trying to install only puts me into my app I already have but the internet WiFi for this house is different so it doesn’t let me do anything . Do I need to change my WiFi connections each time I go to different houses and can I add the new beam onto the app I already have.

Yet another question about the availability of Google Assistant in Finland - but please bear with me. My mother tongue is Swedish (and every Finn learns Swedish, as it is our second official language). According to this support page, Google Assistant is available in Swedish through Sonos. So why wouldn’t this feature be available for all native Swedish speakers in Finland? It feels like an arbitrary restriction that just as well could be lifted for all Finns - most of us speak English as well, so even if you wouldn’t support the largest language here, it would still be beneficial to all Sonos users.Even if this was impossible, the frequent pop-up in the app to activate a voice assistant should be removed in all locations where this is not possible - currently if feels like you are showing your customers the middle finger.

G'day Community. Hope all are well! My first Sonos community post, after setting up my Arc, One SLs (surrounds) and Gen 3 Sub, which all has been Trueplay tuned and sounds pretty mint, so am really pleased.  No niggles, really impressed by the quality of the sound for movies and music, and music's where my query's centred, specifically Deezer (Premium).My question,  which may have been asked a million times (apols) - How can I tell if the track I'm streaming is high definition audio - I did look within Support and the community, and found the below in Sonos support, but this does not seem to apply to either the Sonos S2 app or the Deezer app (Android) and the following options are nowhere to be found:"How can I tell if the track I'm streaming is high definition audio (FLAC)?Select Info & Options > Track Format. I hate Autoplay. A few weeks ago I had a clean install on my computer (Macbook) and then installed Spotify and connected to my Sonos system to listen to some nice music. As it turns out after a while, Autoplay is enabled in Spotify by default. No worries, I disabled it in the Spotify settings. In the very rare occasions when I listen to music on my Macbook (not through Sonos) it respects my choice just as I expect. However, in the meantime Sonos seems to have remembered that Autoplay is ON and since then everytime I listen to anything through Sonos started in Spotify, Autoplay is enabled and it starts to play random music after my playlist or album has ended. (Did I mention I hate autoplay?!) It’s all the same if I play music through Spotify using my iPhone. I looked everywhere in the Sonos app both on my Macbook and on my iPhone, but can’t seem to find any switch for that. Damn! Where do I click?

I can buy a Sonos Arc sub - Gen 1 for $400 Canadian versus a new sub Gen 3 for over $1000 Canadian after tax.From what I understand the Sub Gen 1 will work with the Sonos Arc and will work with Sonos app S2 system.   Obviously there have been changes but from what I have been able to learn, maybe the changes are not too significant.What would you do?

Is it just my network or has the once seamless compatibility and UX interface between Sonos and the Spotify app recently collapsed?I’m really not sure if its the Sonos app or the Spotify app that is at fault (or both) but a few months ago, I noticed that the “now playing” screen on the Spotify app started to resemble the Sonos app’s “now playing” screen. And that change seems to be the start of the problem.Now it seems I can’t pause tracks, skip ahead (important for podcasts) or even change tracks whilst inside the Spotify app. If I do, the track playing on Sonos continues and instead another track begins to play from my phone speaker. It seems the only way to effect the music coming from Sonos system once I’ve linked via Spotify connect is to switch into the Sonos app. Its really quite frustrating. I want to be able to control my Sonos speakers from my Spotify app because the Sonos app doesn’t have the search functionality of Spotify. I like to explore and find new music, and you cann
