The lift lever doesn’t make contact with the tonearm tube so it basically isn’t functioning - any ideas? is there an adjustment that is needed? I just received the turntable today so it is new.

Hi all, I am a big Sonos user - several pieces - but gutted today that for some strange reason, my sub has completely ‘died’? There is no power lights showing.  It’s clearly not showing on my system.  I have moved to different power sockets, checked the cable is properly plugged in but it simply seems to have stopped working, actually just stopped turning on? I’ve had this sub for about 2 years, an expensive purchase to suddenly fail on its own accord. any ideas? Am I missing something obvious….before I contact Sonos etc. s

I have four speakers, three are The One (Gen 1) and one is The One (Gen 2). All three Gen 1’s stopped working completely where the Gen 2 works just fine. The Gen 1’s powers on, they just will not connect to WIFI. If I connect it via cat5, it works perfectly. But in the same location it’s been working, nada.  When I try to connect my iPhone or iPad to update the network settings, it doesn’t work either. Says I cannot connect to the SONOS network. But the Gen 2 still works. If I try to reconnect or add a new device, the Gen 1’s don’t work either. Any help would be incredible. Thank you.

So, I have two Sonos Play:1s and 1one gen2. They are synced to provide music (via Tune-in radio) throughout the house but I find they frequently drop out and I have to restart the app. This also some=times happens if I am streaming spotify (premium) Wifi is working and available because I can see the signal and access internet. There are no other significant bandwidth drains one the network at the time (e.g. no TV or other video streaming). Anyone got any ideas please as it is annoying. Thanks

I set up an alarm to play music from Spotify, but randomly some times, it plays a chime instead of music. I submitted a diagnostic, is that’s helpful.  340867373

Having just bought the Beam (Gen 2), I have it all up and running connected to WiFi and able to play audio through the app like any other speaker.I'm trying to connect it to my TV to work as intended as a soundbar. I go through the couple of steps informing me to plug the HDMI into the ARC port of my TV and into the back of the soundbar, and then the next instruction is "Connecting...". From here, nothing happens. I've waited 30 minutes with no change. I've reset my app, unplugged the soundbar and reconnected it with no joy.Could anybody help me work out how to get it fixed? The TV is 6 years old, but has an ARC HDMI port so I assume I shouldn't be having any issues.

I’ve read articles that say it does and doesn’t have support for HomeKit. Not AirPlay… HomeKit. They’re not the same thing. 

I have a Play:1 stereo pair that has stopped working when a new One SL is powered on and I’m playing to “everywhere.” When I do this, the Sonos app on all devices reports that the stereo pair is playing, but there is no audio on the stereo pair. While music is playing to all other speakers, I can play different music to the stereo pair, but I cannot play the same music everywhere unless I unpair the two speakers. if I unpair the two speakers, they work fine.This problem goes away for a while if I power down the SL, get music started everywhere, then power up the SL. When I perform this process, music stops at all speakers and the app loses contact with the Sonos cluster for a while before I can get music going.  The pair works for a few hours after I do this.I have filed diagnostic report 1008105106 because wow, fascinating…. 

I have. 5 Sonos One devices around the house.  They suddenly all showed offline.  After trying a number of things, I ended up completely eliminating all devices from Alexa, disabled the Sonos skill, hard reset every Sonos. I confirmed that there were not Sonos devices or groups set up in Alexa.All of my Sonos devices are back online.  I have linked music services and they all operate. Or rectory through the Sonos app.  HOWEVER, Alexa Voice will not activate on any of the devices.  When I choose the device, then log in to Amazon, it attempts to load voice on the device.  This is where it stops.  I get an error that says “!  There was a Problem”.   help?

I was finally able to get my S1 speakers working on the S1 app while also being  able to use the S2 app with newer equipment. Problem is they are not in sync- maybe 3 seconds apart. I have tried closing and restarting both apps and have tried different music services. Any advice?

Hello,I am having trouble with my subwoofer output. I am connected in the following way.  I do not see amp settings in the Sonos app either. I also tried to connect the single RCA cable between amp and subwoofer with no success. I do get sound to the bookshelf speakers but no sub. Turntable -to- connect AMP with RCA cablesConnect AMP -to- subwoofer input (wired)Subwoofer -to- Output to small bookshelf speakers (wired) Please help I am new to setup and may have it totally wrong. Subwoofer is a Orb super eight

What's up folks?I have an existing Sonos system throughout my home. A couple Play:5s and few Sonos Ones throughout. About a year ago I decided to build a vintage HiFi system. I want to integrate the two systems, so I'm considering picking up a Port. Anyway, long story short, all the line level inputs on my preamp are currently being used. I want to upgrade my cd player and I'm considering a dedicated transport only player (no on board DAC). My question is, since I only have one AUX input, can I connect the Port to my AUX input on my preamp then connect a transport only CD player to the Port. Effectively killing two birds with one stone. Adding streaming to my HiFi system while simultaneously using the port as a DAC for the CD transport? Will this work?Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for your time,Kyle

I cant get my two Sonos one speakers to play any sound from them i have a playbase too and the speakers are fine with that but i cant get surround sound have reset loads of times turned off router unplugged them the only thing that comes out is Alexa when you talk to her so am at a loss

Beam Gen 2 attachment to LG C1 will not allow other connections-ie optical as use of any alternative results in 2 second switch back to Beam and disconnection with optical. 

Hi, I recently replaced my router with a new one and hence new network. I now cannot access any key Sonos settings – Account, System, Services & Voice are all greyed out. This means naturally that I cannot connect to my Beam.Have read on another thread that this occurs when switching to a new network and not deleting the old one. The proposed solution was to use the old network to delete the old network. However, this is not an option available to me as the previous network has been shut by the operator.What can I do?

I have a 2021 The Frame TV and have a Playbar connected via an optical cable to the One Connect box. Previous setup was a different Samsung TV and everything else was the same.  My issue comes when I’m watching Apple TV(4K 2nd gen) with this setup.  On the streaming apps I use(Netflix, Hulu, Prime, etc...), it’s a flip of a coin whether or not I will get audio when I click on the video I want to stream.  I can hear the audible noise from the bar when I am moving from app to app or title to title within the apps.  But once I click on the selection, many times, there is no audio.  I have to go back into the app, move across other streaming selections(without clicking), still hear the audible noise when moving across them.  Then I click back on my selection and try again.  It usually takes 3-4 times before the audio kicks back in and then its good for that particular stream.  Pause the video?  Its back to the coin flip on getting audio or not.  When there is no audio, the white volume ind

I want to connect DVD audio wirelessly to my Sonos amp & ceiling speakers via Roam. I think there should be Wi-Fi and or Bluetooth enabled DVD or Bluetooth-ray players out there.Does this sound doable? If so should I go for Wi-Fi or Bluetooth to the Roam?Any other advice welcome!

So, I’m having an extension built and I’m looking for a good quality music system to have integrated. I’m looking at the Sonos Architectural. Just want to know how it works and if it’s worth the money.TIA 

Trying to troubleshoot setup for BBC Sounds, trying to access through the Sonos app as it can not airplay directly from the BBC sounds appI have checked that my country is set to UK, am up to date on iOS settings, using Sonos 2 and believe I should be able to find the BBC sounds app. Playbar was configured initially in Australia, but have moved back to the UK, and Playbar now set up here. The ‘Add Music Services’ option is still displaying apps, stations etc from Australia Is there anything I am missing? 

Hellou! I just bought Beam Gen2 and One SL, I have old Ikea symfonisk speaker. I love the sound of them but I cant pair them use surround voice.Two compatible Sonos speakers are required to add a surround speaker. Make sure the products are turned on and connected to a WiFi network.I have tried reboot all speakers, installed them many time, rebootted router and used ethernet cable to Beam. I am setting up a new 15ft x 20ft family room from scratch in my remodeled home. I have already run wiring for two ceiling speakers in the right and left rear of the room. My intent is to use those two ceiling speakers as surrounds for the TV, and as music emitters when the TV is not in use.My hope had been to buy a single Sonos Amp, hook it up to the ceiling speakers, and use the HDMI eARC port on the TV (a new LG C1) to drive the surround signal to the ceiling speakers. I had envisioned only needing the Amp for the surrounds, and just using the TV’s built-in speaker(s?) as the front audio, without springing for a soundbar. (They seem expensive and I’ve never really appreciated soundbars for TV. Not an audiophile. But I would like to have surround sound for movies.)Is this setup possible? Or do I have to have a Beam(gen2) or Arc in order to use the Amp to drive surrounds? (I’m using an Apple TV 4k, latest, for content, if that matters.)Looking around online, it seems like in order to

Is a DAC needed when using Airplay 2 to connect an Apple device to a pair of SONOS 5 speakers?

My wife and I currently have a 5.1 setup with a Beam, two One SLs, and a Sub. My wife would like to buy a move to replace one of the One SLs. Her goal is to be able to take the Move into another room to listen to TV or music that's going on in the living room. Is there a way to do this? I've read to make the surrounds "Full" but I'm only seeing that as an option for music.

If I plug my Sonos amp directly into my router does it act as a boost creating SonosNet?The boost has been a lifesaver to create SonosNet but if I don’t need it because the amp can do that job I’ll ditch it.
