A few have added bbc sounds, it is not showing as an option for me. I wonder if that is because I am in Australia?

All of my music is stored on a NAS.  Format is wav file.  Ripped using third party software or WMP.  I have a number of Playlists I’ve created using WMP.   When I open Sonos it sees all of my music under ‘Music Library’ but none of my playlists.  What can i do to make my playlists available?

Hi community! I’ve got this really weird problem that’s started happening recently, let me describe my setup first.The SetupSony TV KD-49XF7093 Sonos Beam (1st Gen) Apple TV HDThe Apple TV is plugged in to the Sony TV with a HDMI Cable. There is then a HDMI cable from the ARC out on the Sony TV to the Sonos Beam. The Problem For the last 2 weeks, every night at 9pm sharp the audio stops on the Sonos Beam, the TV Speakers become Active, and then back to the Sonos Beam, all within about 2 seconds. you can clearly hear the sound difference in the room, recording it on my phone only really shows the messages that pop up, it’s difficult to hear the sound dipping in and out given the recording of the show that I did.Things I’ve triedRebooting Sonos Turning TV off at the wall Swapping HDMI Cable (ARC) Updating TV Updating Sonos Updating Apple TV Changing the time on the TV to trick it not at 9pm Speaking to Sonos who believe it to be network related (I still can’t get my head around this) - t

I just got the setup (Christmas present that was back ordered).  It all installed fine and connected easy enough.  However, anytime I have everything turned off for a little while and turn it back on - the ARC is not connected.  I have to go through the steps a lot of others mentioned (unplug TV, wait a couple minutes and plug it back in) to get it back up and running.  I found a LOT of threads on this, but no real solution and they all seem closed (so starting a new one).  I do have an older Samsung, model JS7000F - which I think is a 2015 year model.  I had it setup w/ the HDMI (ARC).  I tried the other trouble shooting steps I found (disconnect everything, unplug TV and ARC, start w/ Just TV and ARC and then add each component back one by one).  No luck - initial setup is fine, but after turned off for a little while it does not find it when turned back on. My full setup is the TV, ARC (and 2 ones as surround), Apple TV 4k, Cable Box is FIOS (Arris VM 1100) and an old blue ray playe

I just got myself a new Sub (gen 3) and I use it with 2 x Play:3 paired as stereo. Wow! What a difference the Sub makes!I am now considering to replace the two Play:3 with two new Sonos Five (gen 2).Question is: Is it worth the investment? Will two Sonos Five instead of Play:3 significantly improve the experience? 

Last week I enabled the explicit filter on my Sonos system. I play music on an Apple Music radio station that prior to enabling the filter hasn't given me issues with stopping and will play indefinitely unless I stop it. From my testing what seems to be happening is whenever the explicit filter reaches a song it doesn't like the music stops entirely rather then skipping the explicit song.Is there any way to address this or is this something Sonos has to patch. Thank you, Ian 

Hi all,I recently purchased a Sonos Arc and have installed it. It’s brilliant, but as I have a very big/long room, I like the front speaker to be louder and bassier.I wanted to check, if I purchased a Sonos Amp, am I able to hook it up to some speakers to it and then use them as front speakers along side the sonos arc?If thats’ not possible, are there any other alternative ways?I’m not interested in having rear speakers; front speakers are more important to me.Thanks 

Just upgraded to a new ASUS RT-AX3000 Router and got everything working included my SONOS system. Then wen moving the Music USB drive to the ASUS router and setting it up per the helpful into on this forum, it seems to work for about 5 secs and then throughs the following message...” Music Files Not Available - '(music server path)’ is no longer available. The device where the music files are stored may not be powered on, or the path may have changed.”  The device is powered on and the path was not changed. I have submitted the diagnostic information and the confirmation number is: 1409766191.Please help. Thank you. 

Fairly new to Sonos, and just discovered that my family members must log in with my Sonos account in order to use our home system. Kinda reeling from the discovery. Means:I have to share my Sonos password with each family member who wants to use the system. Each personal Spotify and other service account gets listed in Sonos for everyone. … (more problems and inconveniences I can't come up with right now)I guess my main question is: REALLY, SONOS?Who else has run into this? What are workarounds? Who wants to cheer and vote for the feature request Support is logging for me to make multiple Sonos accounts possible on the same system?Edited to add: And it gets worse. To mitigate the impact of this issue, I've renamed my own Spotify service in the app to my own name. But in the music library, the service is still listed as 'Spotify’. So it's not even possible to visually distinguish our Spotify accounts.

My arc (connected via EAC with an Nvidia Shield serving the data through my Samsung TV) has worked flawlessly up until a few weeks ago.  Now no matter what I play (through the Shield) the sound will either cut out completely or just go very, very quiet.  This is true no matter the codec, on things that played FINE previously.  If I keep playing it may or may not come back (usually not) but if I turn EVERYTHING off and back on again all is well.It’s not the Shield - I switched it with two more Shields I have that play great with other soundbars.  My Sonos system is up to date but I did notice a new software update that happened about the same time my problems did.Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this?  I understand you can’t roll back software (which is a shame, as I’m pretty sure it’s the Sonos update that fracked everything up) but the Arc is now a worthless player.

I have an arc and two ones acting as rear speakers for my tv. Am I also able to use the ones for my stereo/turntable when not using the tv? If so, how? thanks! 

This is a known Google Assistant issue that I’ve brought up with Sonos. If you ask a Sonos voice device to turn off lights. Sonos’s Google Assistant will repeat the command “Turning Kitchen Lights off”. On google home devices, they will play a pleasant chime. My wife can’t stand Sonos confirming every command. They need to make the implementation of voice the same as it is on google devices. Not sure if google intentionally limits these basic features for Sonos.

Greetings.  I have a specific configuration question I would like to pose, hoping someone can help me determine which option is best.  I am about to replace my current wired setup with Sonos - ideally this weekend.  Here is what I am working with, followed by my specific question:TV:  Panasonic TC-P50C2 (Viera, 2010ish)SONOS:  Beam (Gen 2), Sub, 2 Play:1sMEDIA:  Sony BluRay/DVD, S6700The TV is ancient.  Will replace eventually but it’s working fine, so I am putting this off.  I do a ton of streaming primarily, but I am still partially in love with physical media.  Will use the BDP to play all formats, including music on CD. My GOAL is to achieve the best possible sound, given the above specs.QUESTION:  I know I will have to go optical when joining the TV with the Playbar, no way around that.  Would using an HDMI splitter yield better sound from media played on the BDP or should I just stick with routing all audio output through the TV? CDs/DVDs/BRs will be played through the Sony BDP. 

I have mentioned this in someone else’s post but thought this should be a new post/subject.Since updating the software to 13.4.1 both Connects and Connect Amps are flashing red instead of green after a factory reset.They all do reconnect to the system though.Also when muting the light turns red but I have seen that Sonos are aware of this.Diagnostics number: 554887171 

I successfully paired my comcast remote to control playbar volume, but every time I raise or lower volume, I get an annoying white symbol that pops up, like the ends of a cable. Any fix for this?

I've assigned my Beam 2 to the room “Living room”. Now I've gotten myself a Port, which is also in the living room. But I can only assign it to “Living room 2", and that results in two separate rooms. I can still group them of course, but it doesn't make sense to me that I cannot assign multiple devices to the same room. It's the same with all devices: if I wanted to move one of our Sonos Ones to the living, it would be assigned to "Living room 3” now. Is this the expected behavior, and if so, what's the logic behind it?

Hi - I am setting up an new Sonos AMP to 4 speakers. First 2 speakers: excellent sound.Third speaker: still excellent sound.Fourth speaker: I experienced a severe loss of quality of one of the channels and thus speakers. Monaco SPE-82/HQ 100 watt 8 Ohm speakers.2 speakers on 1 channel thus 4 on 2 channels. Any explanation? Ideally anybody a fix?

I just upgraded to the latest version of the Mac OS, 12.1, Monterey and it no longer finds or connects to the Sonos Roam speaker.  It had no problem prior to this latest update.  I have tried all the other suggested fixes to no avail.

My setupLiving Room:Sonos Beam Sonos Amp that includes two wired speakersDining Room:Sonos Five What I’m trying to doI only have a handful of inputs: a TV for home theatre, Tune-In for radio, Spotify for music and a Line-in for a turntable. Ideally, I would like both the Living Room AND the Dining Room to automatically play grouped for everything except home theatre, which I’d like to only output in the Living Room. Is there a way to set this up with default groups based on inputs, so I don’t have to keep grouping them manually whenever I switch inputs?

I have the Beam (gen 2) and the Sun (gen 3). I use the Sonos app to get them connected using the 2.4g wifi.The sub has not been staying connected. Also, everytime I open the app it can not locate the system and I end up having to redo the whole process. The sub will work for a day or so and then lose connection again and I repeat the process.I bought a Boost hoping that would help but am having the same issue.I reset my router and made sure I had coverage. I have 1000mb service and average about 250mb wifi in the room with the system.What am missing? I love the sound of the system but am getting really frustrated. Any help appreciated if I am missing a step.Thank you.

I’m fairly green with technology, I have a very simple setup with Sonos, a Beam sound bar (HDMI to the tv) and a Sonos one, both can be connected together using the Sonos 2 app on my phone. I have decided to add a turntable and CD player to play through my Sonos system and was advised to get a Sonos Port, also advised to get a switch box so both the CD player and turntable could be connected at the same time with only one output to the Port. My issue is that the Port wouldn’t connect to the current Beam/One network and instead created its own network, now when I play a CD and connect everything together I hear no sound (both CD player and Turntable) Any ideas?? 

Hello,I Have a “The Frame” Samsung TV, and the base / components are far away from the TV itself in a cabinet in the back of the room (NOT behind the TV or near it). As you might know the “Frame” Base station is connected to the TV by a fiber optics cable so the “brains” of the TV can be placed far from the screen. Now, I would like to be able to incporporate the sound coming out of the TV to my SONOS, so I can play it in any of the SONOS connected speakers. Any ideas as to what device I would need to connect to the TV base (that is NOT a Sound bar…?) Thank you!!!!

Hi Sonos, my Sub G1, one of the non-glare versions, does show up in my system as ZP100 which is clearly wrong. So my S2 App says it’s incompatible (grouped with ARC + 2 Play:3 as rear). Diagnostic info 1961414442Also my Windows App does not work anymore (says it need update, but when i click on update, no update is found). 

Hi,Sonos controller on Android will not show the album title when playing?It only shows The artist name twice? See picture below:  This only happens when i play from my NAS disk, not from Spotify?And it also works on my windows desktopAnd it just happens here, was working fine earlier.The problem is on my OnePlus 7T Pro with Android 11 Sonos OS: S2Sonos app version: 13.4.1 Appreciate any help regarding this issue!! Edit: After a bit more research, I see that this only applies to FLAC files? 

it looks like there is a priority or a hand off issue between Sonos and IOS and when I try playing spotify in IOS when Sonos has been playing first from within the sonos app spotify does not get handed off to ios.I have brought this up to the spotify community and they mention bringing up the issue with you all as well.Spotify community link
