Love my Sonos one SL speakers without microphone for security reasons. Is there a Sonos Beam without microphones as well?  If not can you kind folks please add it to your wish list?

Hello, I just purchased the Sonos Arc, Sub and 2 One rears pkg. I was trying to test the system by streaming music via airplay together with my 2 Apple Home Pods and 2 Home Pod minis. When all the speakers are playing together, only 1 of the 2 HomePod and 1 of the 2 HomePod mini plays with the Sonos pkg. Is this normal? Thanks,Eric

Can anyone tell me what is supposed to be included under the “My Music” heading within the Apple Music service in the Sonos app? I assumed it would show me music that I’ve added to my Library from within the native Apple Music app, but it’s empty (all sections within My Music are empty — artists, albums, playlists, etc). All other aspects of Apple Music that the Sonos app supports work fine.

Hello, ...I just saw that in the Sonos S2 (13.4.1) application on macOS, in the Preferences –> Music Library –> Music Library Settings, in “My music folders on Sonos”, we could point to several folders . In my case, and since I have a Sonos system, I specified a “Music” folder located on my Synology NAS.My question: is the limitation to 65,000 files imposed by Sonos calculated on a single shared folder or on all the shared folders?...If so, it could blow up this incomprehensible limitation of Sonos!…If not, is this limit 65000 units or 65536 units (2 to the power of 16)?…Finally, does this limit take into account folders and image files (cover)?…Thank you for your answers...   ;-)

Hello everyone,I have a sonos 5.1 (Arc, 2 One SL, Sub) setup in a living room, and we have been noticing while listening to music via streaming from an app (Apple Music, Spotify) from within the sonos app, the sub audio stream cuts out for a varying period of time before coming back in. Doesn't seem to happen while watching movies or tv shows probably because the stream comes from the eARC rather than the internet.Things ive tried:*Changing the location of the sub to see if interference was a cause while all wireless mode.*Switching from a wireless setup to a wired setup (Arc wired to router, all others wireless on sonos net).*Switching to 2 wired (Arc and Sub wired, all other on sonos net)*Changing sonos net channel (Tried all 3, no fix)*Factory resetting Sub and re-adding to group (Both wired and wireless setups)*Resetting routerEven with both the Sub and Arc wired, the sub still cuts out so I don't think interference is still a problem. Also all the things i tried had the Arc as the

Strange problem.  I have a pair of Fives.  If I’m playing ripped music from the Apple music app on my iPad or iPhone, or from the Amazon Prime app on either, it will play a handful of songs, and then stop.  It’s always at the end of a song, never in the middle, and happens pretty much every time I use it.  It might be after two, three, four, five, etc.  No consistency.  I use my iPhone daily in my car with CarPlay, and it’s never happened.  I also have a HomePod in my office that I stream to from my iPhone (also AirPlay), and it’s never happened there either.  So it’s two different music sources, two different devices, and only with the Sonos speakers.  I also have the Sonos skill setup and can stream from an Echo, and that never stops.  Anyone else experience this?

hi everyone ...I am from india and I have just installed sonos surround system in my drawing room. Now i am  confused as what is bass and treble settings in surround speakers setting option ? Also please guide me what is the best sound level for sub.How to set them to get best result from the surround system...pls advice…thank you …Chetan

Hello, I’m looking for a way to lock my Apple Music account with a password so no one else on the Sonos account can use it. The issue isn’t people on the account but people on my personal Apple Music. Is there a way to password protect personal music streaming accounts?

I play a 40hz pure sine wave through my sub at night to mask low frequency noise from outside. The volume of the sub is on the lowest setting. This has been good but recently it has started to 'pulse' rather than deliver a consistent tone which defeats the purpose of playing it. I removed and reinstalled the sub which seemed to help but even doing that isn't working now. Would anyone know how I can stop this pulsing or why it's happening?

Hi, can anyone please help with connecting a pair of sonos fives to my tv? I know you can plug a 3.5 jack into the back of the speaker but my tv does not have that sort of connection. Is there any way to go around this as I want to be able to play for example youtube videos through my sonos five speakers.

The latest Sonos system update broke NAS access. I have TP-Link Archer C9 router with Samsung  PSSD T7 portable SSD. All access is enabled for the drive. It worked for months, one day no go. I can access the drive from every other device I have. In Windows 10 and android I add the drive in Music Library Settings, Sonos sees the drive for a second, then says it is no longer available. I spent an hour with support and remote access, ended with the claim it was the NAS drive settings. I have factory reset, uninstalled and reinstalled apps on windows and android. Still doesn’t work. I can play Pandora on the system and music from my android.

Hi.  Spotify steaming jumps tracks and completely stop several times a day but  Sonos radio streaming works fine. I have tried to log out everywhere for spotify and it improves for ½ a day then renders usless.i have a fibre broadband package 100Mbs with no data limits.Any thoughts to stop this track jumping and stopping would be most appreciated.

Can someone explain to me the logic behind the annoying “feature” S2 app has that wakes up my PC every time a new piece of music starts playing?I explain. I have S2 running on my PC. I select a station I want to play. Then I put my PC to sleep (so it turns my computer and the monitors off so it doesn’t use energy) and go downstairs to do my stuff or to stay with my friends. The music plays and the moment a new song comes on, my computers comes out of sleep mode and is “ready” for something. I was told once by support guy that this is so in case you want to change the music, it’s already there. Why on Earth I want this to be ready if I’m downstairs (or far away) from the machine? Do they know that people can do the same from their phone app? It’s just plain stupid and a waste of energy. My PC has some LED lights so I can’t use it when I want to have a relaxing nap. I have to make sure that I shutdown the app first before putting my PC to sleep. So annoying.Anyone has the same problem?

Been listening to a streaming station KPIG (Santa Cruz) for a year, without incident. Now Sonos will not connect to it, from desktop, iPhone or iPad. Will connect to local Public Radio station. Music library works fine. Deleted station and re-added it, multiple time. No problem at the station. My business tech guy is coming next week because I am so fed up, but would love to solve this on my own, and without an added expense. Anyone??

I have a Beam 2, couple of Symfonisks, linked to  u65g - 2021 model with eARCUsing Apple TV 4K and the Google O/S on the TV itself my Sonos App says ‘Atmos’ where appropriate BUT the TV does not. That’s pretty condusing. Am I or aren’t I?I have Hi speed HDMI’s, sound is set to ‘pass through’ on the TV and the Apple TV is set to match frame rate, Atmos enabled etc.I think I’m getting Atmos and the above settings are definitely the best for day to day - but can someone tell me why I don’t get a confirmation from the TV? Also - sometimes when ‘turning on’ it is impossible to control the volume bar mute or what it was the night before. I have to perform several ‘on/offs’ before it works??Thanks in advance

Is there a way to have SL Ones startup when I turn on my Samsung TV and Beam Gen 2? Or do I have to physically turn on the SL One each time I turn on my TV/Beam?

Like many others, my playbar stopped playing sound from my TV.  I tried many things like everyone else to rule out TV and optical cable.  Also, TV sound settings are set to PCM and sound set to optical.Unfortunately, the power cable for the playbar is running behind a wall, so i am unable to try using the playbar with a different TV, at least not easily. Is the optical port on the playbar known to go bad?  Or, is that unlikely and I need to troubleshoot some more?

I have the Arc, two Ones for surround and the Sub Gen 3 hooked up to eARC on my Toshiba E9 OLED (surrounds and sub are wireless).Arc is mounted below the tv.  Ones are behind the sectional.  The sub is against the wall to the right of the ARC.  The TV is in the corner. The app sees all the speakers.  When I turn the sub off in the app the bass sounds noticeably louder.  I’m concerned that the Sub has not connected correctly.

Hello!  I’m hoping someone on the forums here can help me determine if what I’m experiencing with my new sub is within the parameters of being normal or if I have an issue that I need to escalate to Sonos support. I got my sub on 2/12/2022 and immediately noticed a very low/faint hum and when I was down next to it tucking some desk wires into my tray, I heard a light tick, tick, tick, tick noise.  I have provided a video where I stick my phone right up to the hole and you can clearly hear both the hum and the tick.  Here are the specifics about the environment and t-shooting steps I’ve taken: -- Sub is paired with two play:1’s in a stereo pair in my office.  Will be generally used in conjunction with a Port and a CD player with occasional streaming via Amazon/Spotify/Pandora but mostly CDs via Port. -- Windows app and iOS app being used to control (mostly Windows app in office)-- I get the same thing if I carry the sub downstairs and pair it with my new Five in the living room or leave

Really annoying that Apple Music doesn’t show up as one of the options to choose when being asked to choose music service in google Assistent. Only YouTube Music and Spotify are to be chosen. I don’t use neither of those. When is this going to be adjusted? I’m very disappointed that Sonos have these shortcomings.

I am running on S1 system 11.3 version.I am being invited to update automatically which I usually do, but I like to know the nature of any updates before updating so as to avoid any reduction of services either hardware or software.Sonos never offer details of updates. How can I find full details of updates before accepting the update.

I am running Plex server (with a Plex pass) on my NAS, and the connection usually works fine. I am able to browse to my Plex and play music successfully from there. If I search for music, it will find hits in Plex, but if I then attempt to go to there, I get "unable to browse music". I've tried restarting everything I can, I've re-authenticated, and it's been doing this for a couple months.

Bought a SONOS one today to replace my broken echo. Set it up to work with Alexa, along with my other devices around the home. I have a play bar in the lounge and a Amazon echo in the kitchen. My new SONOS one is in my bedroom. I noticed almost straight away that it will play the wrong song, but by the correct artist, if I interrupt a currently playing song to ask for a new one… see below… For example, if I say “Alexa, play Waterloo by Abba” it will play the correct song…. But if I then say (during the song), “Alexa, play Beat It by Michael Jackson”, it will say “Now playing beat it by Michael Jackson” but will play a completely different song by Michael Jackson. The only fix, is if I say “Alexa, STOP”… and then ask it to play the new song. My echo device before did not do this. Any ideas?! I’m using Spotify as my preferred music provider. Thanks

Morning,  So…..about a week ago my internet died, had to restart my udm pro a few times to get things working again. Whole network is Ubiquity.  Since then the sonos speakers that have been working for years started playing up. Oddly 3 of them work (wirelessly) but then the wired one of the system which you’d expect to work refuses to play at all, unless it’s grouped to the others. Anyone had this before?  Your confirmation number is: 198820799

Every few minutes the audio cuts out.  I’m streaming using various apps built into the Hisense TV.  Seems to happen consistently no matter the app.  Connected via HDMI using the eArc port on the TV.  I ran the submit diagnostics thing.  Confirmation number 1907441099 but the last audio drop was probably 20 mins ago.  I can do again closer to the drop if needed.  Hopefully can get some help.  Thanks.
