Just got the roam after a while trying to switch the thing on (not realising it needs to be set up in WiFi first . anyway all done it’s there in my app I can play Bluetooth now on the go . But how do I connect it tomy 2 play 5’s ? While the 5’s are playing i press play on the roam and it just plays what I was listening to previously on Bluetooth just need to know how to get all 3 speakers play the same thing  thanks 

I wanted to test some features w/ Utube Music, to which I am thinking about moving to, so removed my Amazon account and then added it back after testing Utube. Now I can see and play the albums tied to Amazon but all of the playlists no longer work. I get a message saying the associated account is not found. I am on Sonos S1.I have tried reauthorizing the account to no avail.Is this a bug? Thx

I have my Playbar connected to my TV. I have it resting horizontal on a cablnet below the TV. I have a large room with 20’ ceilings. When I watch TV for some reason I have a hard time hearing people talking during shows/movies. I find that it sounds better when I flip the Playbar up vertically and I can hear the voices better and the background music isn't as loud. Problem is when I flip it vertically then my remote wont control the volume on the playbar anymore. I would have to put back horizontal, adjust the volume, then flip back vertical.Any way around this issue??  I dont want to mount the playbar on the wall vertically so I am at a loss and it is very frustrating even though there is a sensor on the vertical side for volume.  Thanks in advance!

I have the arc/sub setup with my new Samsung QN84 through the E-arc port. I have my Apple TV 4K plugged into HDMI port 1. If I watch any content on Netflix, Disney + that has Atmos audio, everything works perfectly fine and sounds incredible. However, if I then go to play a show that is not Atmos quality, “sometimes” the audio does not come through at all. “sometimes” it does play in Multichannel 5.1 as it should. It seems to be very buggy and inconsistent. I have tried multiple HDMI cables, all HDMI ports other than the E-arc where the Arc is connected, and the issue remains. The TV settings I have are HDMI-earc Mode on auto and Digital Output Audio Format to Pass-Through.  If I turn Atmos off on the Apple TV and select 5.1, everything plays completely fine with zero issues. Unfortunately Apple support seems clueless on this, so hoping somebody here has seen this issue and has a recommendation that could prevent me from having to manually turn Atmos on when I want to watch certain con

Hello , possible silly question , I'm thinking of getting a Panasonic ub820 player which has separate audio and video hdmi outs , would connecting audio out directly to beam and video out to tv work or would I still have to do a combined audio /video feed to beam via e/arc , also I'm aware that the first option would mean no TV audio through beam only blu ray , sorry a bit long winded , thanks

Hi sonos experts, I have a set up with sonos beam 2 and a pair of one, for the surrounding sound, I wonder when I am playing music, and the music is stereo, is this surrounding set up just playing stereo sound from the main speaker which is Beam here, then what is the sound coming from the two rare speaker? part of the stereo sound?  thank you for answering

Sonos enheder jeg har er:9 Sonos One1 Beam1 Sub Gen 31 Amp.2 stk MoveNetværket er et Unifi Amplifi hvor yousee routeren er sat til bridge, så unifi routeren styrer det hele. 2.4Ghz kører kanal 1Hvor Sonosnet er sat til 11 Problemet er lange buffering både med Spotify, yousee musik og sonos eget. Der er også problemer med volume kontrol.Problemet er der når jeg kører Sonosnet, samt wifi only Håber der er nogle som kan se hvad jeg lige mangler at tweake på mit netværk.

Looking at putting together a Sonos system for my loft area TV. Thinking of gen 2 sound bar, with sub woofer, 2 in wall speakers for surround and 2 ceiling speakers for rear surround. Does this make sense, if yes, what is needed to set up (obviously speakers, how many amps, other?), if not, what would best set up be?

This may be the most convoluted question of all time, so please bear with me, and answer as if you’re talking to a rather dull five-year-old, which you essentially are, though I’m actually in my 50s:I have two Sonos Ones, which were set up as a stereo pair at my old house; we have since moved, and got a Sonos Beam, primarily for the big new TV, and I also have a third, new Sonos One.Ideal situation: I would like to have each of the three Sonos Ones in a different room (so no longer a stereo pair, which sounds really bad now, having one in two different rooms in stereo). The Beam works fine for the TV, but I would like to be able to play music out of it as well at times, i.e. essentially having four different speakers.How do I get there from here? The two I’ve already set up are 1) in stereo and 2) calibrated for rooms in our previous house, which have much different dimensions than the rooms in the new place. Hi guys looking for a little help here. I have an old ZP 90 that has stopped working, I tried to do the upgrade and purchase a new port. I was halfway through the upgrade and had to leave the page before completing sale. When I logged back in to complete the purchase it showed that unit was already upgraded but I hadn’t completed order. I’m now trying to reorder and arrange delivery but can’t cancel previous upgrade and restart. I talked to someone in support who helped with another issue but couldn’t help with this order. I’ve called sales and also emailed them a week ago but still no luck. Today on trying to contact sales again Message says unavailable try support online! Cheers Shane 

I just got a new Sony TV (2021 Bravia X90J) and can’t get the remote to properly control the Playbase volume. After I successfully (according to the Sonos app) pair the remote, the remote will decrease volume (when the - volume button is pressed) but won’t increase volume (when + volume is pressed nothing happens). Any ideas?

I just purchased the Sonos Sub (3rd gen).  Dropped $750, it’s beautiful, was excited to try it out. After hitting the join button and doing the NFC phone connection, it prompts me to choose a wireless network.  It can’t detect any 5ghz networks.  I live in a densely populated area and so there are plenty of both 5ghz and 2.4ghz networks, but it can’t detect any of the 5ghz networks. I only have a 5ghz network at home; I don’t have a 2.4ghz, so that’s not an option for me to connect to. The tech specs clearly state the sub connects to 5ghz wifi.  What gives? https://www.sonos.com/en-us/shop/sub#2WiFiConnect to WiFi with any 802.11a/b/g/n 2.4 or 5 GHz broadcast-capable router.

Hi,I am new to the Sonos ecosystem. I am using a Five with streaming and Line-in. On the Sonos app I find that at around 25% on the volume slider the sound is almost imperceptible.I’ve added the screenshot below. This makes it a bit annoying to adjust the volume because the I need to be on the upper end of the slider most of the time and it’s overly sensitive. Effectively I only use the right side of the slider.Is this the normal behavior? Can it be swapped to something more linear? Is there something wrong with my Sonos Five?Additional information:The issue is there for online sources too. Not just line in which I have tried adjusting with the source level settings.I have not set a volume limit.I tried the Loudness setting in EQ on and off. I am guessing this just gives a V profile EQ.Right now I can get around this for the Line-in by setting the Sonos volume to Max and using the hardware control of the device providing the input which is pretty linear but I am not sure if that is ide

Hello! I recently bought into the Sonos ecosystem, but I fear I may have misunderstood how the devices work.My wireless situation is a bit sketchy. Bluetooth, ZigBee, and WiFi all don't work very well in my bedroom. The problem has only gotten worse over time, to the point where Bluetooth audio is unusable in that one room. Wireless performance is problematic everywhere else too.Put simply; I want as little wireless anything as possible. There is a horrible amount of congestion where I live, and I barely get reliable performance out of the handful of ZigBee devices I own. I don't use any wireless protocols for anything, except my phone and the aforementioned IOT devices.I was sold on the Sonos Fives when my understanding was that they supported ethernet, and that I could use my phone to select which media to play, but the devices (even as a stero pair) themselves would fetch it over the wired network.I got two fives for the bedroom and was really happy with their performance, so yester

Hi, my Playbar was working fine whilst laid flat. I’ve now wall mounted it and connected it to my TV and I’ve got a high pitched static like noise when it’s in use and afterwards for a while, then it stops. This is happening both when watching TV or listening to music so I don’t think it’s related to the optical cable. I have already done a factory reset which didn’t help.I have submitted a diagnostic (764888460). I’ve also called (customer reference 03461863) but my call got disconnected (poor phone signal on my end).Is there anything you can do to help?Thanks,Chris

Hi support. My PC restarts in the middle of update install on Windows 10 app. 13.4.1. It has done that on earlier version, and then it didnt in a long while. Hey everyone.  I am brand spanking new to using any Sonia components at all.  My father has his entire home, including a hifi Klipsch based HT set up with a connect and THREE outdoor zones (maybe 9 zones total. He’s AALLLLL in!) connected so I am not new to using Sonos.  Well, I’ve finally relented on my passion for only using wired hi-fi set ups exclusively.   I would now like to use a Connect gen 2 that i will be buying from an eBay seller to save a bit since I’m also buying 2-3 Sonos Ones.  MY QUESTION IS:  Does a Connect gen 2 work with Sonos’s most current app/ecosystem??Will it work with the S2 app??

Does anyone know if this would be better/work? I have a broadband connection and use the wifi connection from the providers router ( in this case Telenet ).Sometimes when playing the sound on all the ones connected through wifi drops , sometimes a second but sometimes a few seconds in a row, or a sec off, a second on (i also have a connection from my connect to my stereo, because i have two big BOSE boxes attached to that one aswell…. those never drop sound, that’s why i assume it’s a wifi prob)I have 5 play1, one sonos one, one BEAM and a connect.Would something like this:https://www.amazon.fr/NETGEAR-Point-dacc%C3%A8s-WiFi-WAX204/dp/B08MQ5CVQK?ref_=Oct_DLandingS_D_e31ff8b9_64&smid=A1X6FK5RDHNB96&th=1or a MESH set up resolve those problems or not?I think the TELENET router cannot handle all these things? I have the Arc soundbar speaker and am waiting for my Sub (Gen 3) to arrive.  A friend of mine has the Beam soundbar speaker and uses two Sonos 5’s for his rear surround speakers but doesn’t have a sub.  I would like to know if surround speakers are required or recommended with my projected setup; Arc SL and Sub.  I think the Arc soundbar already sounds great but gets distorted during high bass or is “missing” some bass. I think the Sub will provide what I believe is missing in my future setup and the rear surrounds wouldn’t be necessary at all.  I’m looking for anyone’s thoughts on this.  Thanks for you let time and feedback, I appreciate it!

Hi all - so I have two of the newer Sonos 5 speakers tied together with a Gen 2 Sub and a soundbar.  From what I understand the 5s and the Soundbar will support the Qobuz 24bit streaming, but the Gen 2 Sub will not.  So my question - since they are all grouped together, will the two 5s still play 24 bit or will the sub bring it all down?

We have a new home and a few of the samsung tv’s are connnected to Sonos sound bars, which is nice because using the built in tv speaker doesn’t down great due to the cabinets/book cases the tv’s are in.It appears that the soundbar is connected to the tv via the single serial wire to a one connect box. The sound bar doesn’t have HDMI.  I am using a roku voice remote for the tv but i can only adjust sound via the Sonos app linked to the sound bar. Is there a way to bypass the Sonos app and system to just allow me to control the tv’s sound via the roku remote and only have sound come out of the soundbar (not the tv)?thanks for any suggestions!SM.

Starting this topic AGAIN because all the threads are months old and often shut down by Sonos staff. I can play Sirius XM on all my Sonos speakers through Sonos app. I can play Sirius XM on Google speakers using Google Assistant. I can play Pandora on my Sonos speakers using Google Assistant. But what I can't do is play Sirius XM on Sonos (One) using Google Assistant on the Sonos One (or anything else). It says "Sirius XM is not supported on ____".  And yes I've disconnected accounts and relinked multiple times. 

I just beginning to investigate taking the dive into the Sono world. I don't know if what I'd like to do will work and I'm looking for some advice. I'm thinking of using using a Samsung Frame that has it's "one connect box" connected to a Sonos AMP using eARC. The AMP and the one connect box are hidden in a cabinet across the room from the Frame TV with the extra long "one connect cable". The one connect box will have other HDMI devices plugged into it. The AMP would also be powering existing in-wall rear surround speakers.  Under the Samsung Frame would be a Beam (or Arc) sound bar. The sound bar I hope would just using wifi so there are no addition cables between the TV and the sound bar. Does it work like this? Can the AMP handle the eARC input from the TV and share it with the Beam/Arc soundbar wirelessly? I don't know a lot about how the Sonos ecosystem works, any insight would be greatly appreciated! And thanks for any help in advance!

When will Alexa announcements be enabled for the Sonos One (gen2)? I currently need a separate Alexa routine for each of my 4 Sonos Ones to play a doorbell sound when my linked Ring Doorbell is pressed.  I would much rather have one routine where Alexa announces that someone is at the door to all my devices.
