I have set up an Amp with a set of tower speakers and sub to a secondary TV, and I am seeing Stereo PCM in the Sonos screen.  Is this the correct audio output I should be receiving?  Dolby Digital and DTS are greyed out on my TV, so all I am able to click is Auto.  I am assuming that since I only have two speakers (plus sub), that stereo is correct?  Or am I missing something that would allow DD?

All depends on your TV.  Some analyze the connected audio device and limit what can be sent, others allow anything to be sent and rely on the audio device to downgrade it to something it can handle.  Your TV would appear to be the former.

I was wrong in my first post.  The only options I have are PCM and DTS Neo 2:5.  Not too sure about the DTS Neo option, but I am trying to research why the DD option is not available with no luck.  The TV is from a few years back, Samsung 6 series.

When I switch to DTS Neo, I am now seeing DTS Surround 5.1 in the Sonos app.  Is this option all I should need?

What exactly is your source when you see “DTS Surround 5.1” in the Sonos app?

Apple TV app as well as Netflix through Roku Ultra.

What exact model TV do you have?

Have you set the audio settings on the Roku Ultra to Dolby Digital?

ahhhhh...Once I set the Roku to DD, and then the TV to use DD I am seeing this in the app.  Thank you so much.
