Brand new NAS drive, 3800 tracks, Sonos fails the initial update after about 10 minutes, saying the drive is no longer available. Except it is, to any other device on the network. Permissions are wide open.

Not sure where to even start with this...

As a guess, there likely either wifi interference , or possibly a duplicate IP address that is causing the speaker that is doing the work to lose it’s connection to the NAS during the process. You could also submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it.

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.

When you speak directly to the phone folks, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system and network
