What’s going on between Sonos and Apple?I am once again unable to update the Sonos app on my MacBook Pro running Ventura 13.1. Sonos says an update is available, but when I try I get an “unable to update, try again later” window. This first happened about a month ago, and I was able to update by downloading Version 14.19 from Sonos. Now the problem seems to exist again.Yesterday, when grappling with this, I received another notification from Sonos that I was no longer connected to Apple Music. This also happened about a month ago. Reconnecting is easy to do, and I have done it again, but what’s going on?I have satisfactorily used my Sonos Play 5 and two Play 1’s with all my apple devices (MacBook, iPad, iPhone) reliably for the past five years without these problems, until recently. Is there now some compatibility problem I don’t understand?My wife has enjoyed Sonos throughout, but she’s not particularly computer savvy. I know that dialogue issues with Arc have been discussed a lot, but I am still at an impasse. The latest updates did help a lot with dialogue on my Arc + Sub (3), but when using Atmos through my Apple TV 4K, dialogue levels are still very low. I have Speech Enhancement engaged, and typically have “Reduce Loud Sounds” engaged on the Apple TV. When I turn off Atmos in Apple TV, and revert to 5.1, the issue resolves itself. Does anyone have suggestions on what to try to resolve this using Atmos? I feel like I’ve tried every combination to make this usable. I have performed Trueplay after the latest update. 

I upgraded to S2. I have a new ARC and a Move that play fine. But the system becomes unstable when I power up my Play1 and Connect:Amp. How to solve this problem?Likely causes to check out?

Hi,I have Sonos Beam Gen 1 in my household connected via wifi. The product has worked fine for a long time but suddenly I lost the ability to connect to it without any clear reason. There were no changes in the network, the connection just stopped working. I can reconnect to the Beam with bluetooth and reset the wifi password but after setting everything up, the Sonos application fails to connect to Beam device. This happend on both Sonos (iPhone v 14.20) and Sonos S1 applications. I have tried following things without success:Try to discover Sonos devices in the network (Sonos apps) Try to fix Sonos connection (Sonos apps) Reconfigure Sonos connection to the wifi (bluetooth) Try different iPhone to connect to Sonos Try to change wifi password Try to connect Sonos with LAN cable Reset Sonos Beam Try everything above again Remove Sonos application and try everything again after reinstallationFollowing things have been checked:Sonos and iPhone are wifi connected and in the same network B

Hi, I have a Sonos system set up throughout my home  and have had no issues the entire time I’ve had it but over the last couple of months have been experiencing some really annoying issues with it. I have updated all the system and app. I have had the broadband, router and wifi checked and tested and all working fine.The issue I’m having is massive lagging of sound when connecting multiple speakers, literally 5-10 second delay of all eventually syncing to be all on at once then randomly odd speakers dropping completely out then re connecting.I’m also experiencing if I have a playlist playing and leave it to go to next track the sound is fine but if I want to skip to the next track midway through a track everything drops out, some speakers continue to play the track I’m trying to skip whilst others start to play the next track (again all out of sync) eventually all catching up. Everything has been running through wifi and I’ve also tried connecting one or two via Ethernet to eliminate

I have SVC and Alexa enabled on my Arc, not Google Assistant.  I do have a google home in the room as well and if I say “Hey, Google” or “OK, Google” the Arc will lower the volume. The volume does not go back on its own.  Removing SVC didn’t fix this. Is there a fix for this?

Tidal: random airplay disconnections, deezer: unable to cast from the app itself… why in 2023, the only app who really works well with sonos is Spotify? 👎

I have two (2) Play 5’s that are randomly disconnecting the stereo pair. Happens in Apple Music, Spotify, and Line In.Diagnostic: 217537956

SL1s can I Unplug and move the speaker placement without changing the settings? Can I use with 4 SL1s and and a sub until I buy the ARC? I’m transitioning from Bose. Using a LG 86 TV no receivers just the tv. Thanks in advance. 

I’ve tried several times to get my Sonos One speaker (corded) to pair with my iPhone and I have not had any luck. Any suggestions? 

I am trying to use my speaker (sonos one) to listen to audio from my computer.   I can connect it just fine in bluetooth - but it wont recognize it as an audio devices.  I have Lenovo PC wih windows 11 - are there known bugs with this type of connection?  (I know the speaker is pretty old)

I recently setup an arc and sub for our living room and added a move to expand the sound into the kitchen (next to each other in an semi open concept layout). It works great and we love it.  I want to get my husband a turntable or a way to listen to his vinyls with our current speaker setup if possible. Should I buy the sonos turntable or will the amp or port work with his existing old school turntable, currently set up in the basement with a receiver and terrible old speakers. I’m very confused about it all. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I have recently updated my system to run on Sonos 2 controller and have the apps for phone and iPad but I cannot find the latest controller for the Mac in the App Store. can anyone help or point me in the right direction 

I have my music library on a Network Attached Storage Device (QNAP) as a shared drive on my home network which is also remotely replicated to another property I have. However Sonos regularly loses the access to the drive. The drive mapping is still configured in my sonos manage music section, the connection is wired so it is not a wifi issue, but my Sonos app (Phone and Desktop, S2) tells me I have no music. I then have to remap the drive in Sonos settings for it to rebuild the index and library.  Simply rebuilding the Index does not work. Any advice would be appreciated 

I have 2 AMP’s. One AMP feeds my Kitchen with 4 hardwired ceiling speakers.  Great sound.  My 2nd AMP supports our living room with two hardwired ceiling speakers.  I have an ARC connected to my Samsung Frame TV via HDMI cable.   Neither of the AMP’s are HDMI connected to my Samsung Frame TV.  The two AMP’s are located in my media room closet on the other side of the house and are not connected to my Samsung Frame. The following are the connections that I would like to have.    I want my two hardwired family room speakers to play my Spotify music with the ARC speakers in sync. I have my ARC linked to the 2nd AMP.   Do I need to connect the ARC to the 2nd AMP with an Ethernet cable to allow music to be played in sync? How do I make this connection to allow the ARC and the 2 Living Room ceiling speakers play music at the same time? Hi, I have and Sonos 1 system and want to expand it. On Ebay there are used Bridges model BR000 and BR100 or I can get a new Boost. Is there any difference?

Overnight, my Sonos ARC stopped working properly with my LG Oled CX. I tried changing the HDMI cable, reset the TV and unplugged all other devices. When the audio output is set to CEC with eARC enabled on the tv, audio output works. When eARC is disabled, audio output does not work. CEC volume control does not work anymore, and the Sonos app says ‘ARC Mode not connected’ when doing a tv setup. Already tried setting up universal control again to no avail. This issue seemingly happened overnight, probably due to a software update? Diagnostics 1479171840

I just added a Sonos Boost and everything works great (all speakers are showing WM: 0). My question is, the speakers are also still showing connected to my WiFi network in my router app, so can I just remove my WiFi network from the Sonos app list, or does it still need that in order to work properly?

Hi, I have reset my Android phone (Samsung S10+ with Android 12) and now Play store tells me my phone is not compatible with the S1 app. Yet it was working fine before I reset my phone.App store allows me to download S2 without problems but tells me my network needs S1 (as expected). It then takes me to Play store where it tells me about the app issues.If I search Play store directly, only S2 shows.Any thoughts The only difference now is that I have Google family link running so my daughter can have the phone. Remember the S2 app can be found and downloaded without issues.

I have a Vizio TV with Sonos Amp connected to ARC port and fire tv stick connected to another HDMI port.  All is functioning well, except randomly, a stream will pause OR stop and go out to the main fire stick menu or even the main smart tv menu.  Any troubleshooting suggestions?TV is updated to latest firmware - though it is a few years old and there hasn’t been an update in a while.
