Anyone having trouble connecting to SiriusXM over the last week or is it just my system?

Hello,I have a Sonos Arc with a sub + surrounds that I have used on my PC for a while and had no issues having it connected to the optical port, a couple weeks ago I didn't get sound from my arc I didn't do any updates or change anything. First I tried my Arc on a TV to check the optical adapter and the HDMI, when I connected using the optical it didn't work I then plugged the HDMI directly in and worked so I tried the optical again after and it then worked I decided to get a replacement optical adapter from Sonos anyways to be sure but had the same issues. I have tested my PC’s optical port with other devices like my Astros and it works fine I'm not sure what todo anymore just seems very odd and its very frustrating any help or advise would be great.  

I tried to get help with this problem a year ago but no one helped me. I believe the problem started with a new computer 2 years ago.One of my choices, in deciding what music to play, is “Music Library”, which connects to my itunes. From there, I go to Imported Playlists. I often make changes to my playlists, so frequently I go to Manage > Update Music Library Now.In itunes, everything looks fine. But in Sonos, each of my playlists is listed twice, many with a different number of songs in each list. If I look at that playlist in itunes, it might have yet another number of songs in it.How can I fix this? I wonder if i have an incorrect setting somewhere...something not pointing to the correct path or folder? My Music and itunes folders are kind of a mess...what looks like lots of extra old stuff.Thanks for any help you can give me...

I recently took advantage of the free Amazon upgrade to their HD service. Now, under “My music”, although listings of tracks and artists are present, the album listing doesn’t work. It reports “Requested operation failed. Please try again.”Curiously, some of the genres prove an album listing, but “classical” (of which I have quite a few albums) reports the same error  This relates to the iPad and iPhone apps: same issue on both. I have tried de-authorising and re-authorising it to no avail. Amazon music plays fine and the Amazon Music app also plays through the Sonos system. Advice would be welcome. 

Is anyone experiencing issue with BBC Radio 2 not playing via Sonos Radio?All of a sudden today I can’t get it to play via the IOS app or the PC app. All other BBC stations 1-6 are working fine. I can get I to play via Sounds streamed to a speaker but not via Sonos.I’ve checked for updates etc, etc but no joy. Ideas welcomed

Hi. Since this morning all my favorite stations suddenly play the same thing. Best guess a rock radio with a British woman speaking a lot. Searching the same stations or other stations in the searchbar and playing them gives the same thing. Yesterday night everything was still working fine. Nothing in my set up or wifi connection has changed during the night. Is anybody having the same problem or has someone experienced this in the past?

I have years of faultless streaming of Spotify over my Sonos system which comprises of:a One SLa Onethree Play:3a PlaybaseAll of the above are connected with ethernet cables by wire all the way to the router, not via any type of wireless or powerline extendersI also have a Move and a Roam The problem I experience is that songs stop part way through and then skip to the next track.  It is now getting extremely annoying to the point that a system that I love an recommend to everybody is becoming unusable.I have a fibre internet connection and I have tested it at various times when and I am consistently getting the expected 500Mbs up and down, with 5ms ping times. I have not changed anything to the speaker setup and I am reluctant to change anything because of the years of happy listening. Is there anyway I can do to investigate the root cause? Diagnostic report: 1309863804 Thanks

I am having issues with playing music from my Apple service. When I go to Apple music in the sonos app and select My music it gives me a We’ve run into a problem. Try Again. I have tried 1500 times and still the same error. I am deauthorized and reauthorized it and nothing. I deleted all the sonos speakers and readded them and nothing. I have rebooted each speaker and nothing. There is something wrong with this app and no one can help me with this.PLEASE help I want to continue to buy your product but if I cannot access apple music through the app then I have to find a speaker company that does. 

when I am trying to play songs from YouTube music it gives me the message "unable to play" song name "access denied" message.

Has anyone else seen this error? The encoded error as well as the lost connection error are persistent & I have tried changing network channels, I have tried rebooting the system and I have tried uninstalling the service and adding it again. The error codes persist despite these troubleshooting strategies. Anyone else having this issue or have any suggestions?

I have a Sonos Move, One SL, and Port and a Brennan B2 music server with my CD collection that has been working perfectly for almost a year. However, three days ago I noticed that some songs can not be found by my Sonos in the Brennan server. The most puzzling thing is that the “trouble” songs play in my One SL when it is the only speaker but not if I make the Move or Port the sole output. I notice that the problem songs have characters like ñ, accents, and/or question/exclamation marks in their titles. I reset all my Sonos components and that by itself does not fix the problem neither does re-indexing. The problem goes away only when I remove the offending characters from the name of the songs in the Brennan B2 music server. I have not made any changes in my system to have caused this problem. Has there been lately an autonomous update in the firmware of my Sonos components? How can I fix it? I would prefer not having to go through my full library in my server removing offending chara

I don’t have 1000 playlists but i have enough where Sonos cuts me off at the letter U.  Why are there limits?   Playlists are how i organize my music.  I don’t want to delete any.  It would at least be helpful if I could delete some from being imported to Sonos.  At least that would help.   Is that possible?

Hi there,I just got my regular Deezer family plan upgraded to the new Family Hifi plan they offer. So… I have an issue within the Sonos S2 App. It seems that the songs the app pulls from Deezer service aren’t played in FLAC format but in Mp3 only.When I play a song within Deezer app, everything plays back just fine in HiFi format. But as soon as I use the Sonos S2 app, I’m getting Mp3 audio only.It appears (by reading the Deezer community) that multiple users are experiencing this issue as well.My audio quality settings in Deezer are all set to Custom / HiFi for everything (including streaming) and my compression settings in the S2 app are set to uncompressed.Help ?Below are screenshots of the same song, both playing in the Deezer app and S2 App.

Can’t play any radio station at all all of a sudden, I get :“Unable to play “Sonos radio” access denied  or “unable to play the radio station” messages despite being logged in and able to play other music via Apple or Tidal without issue, internet connection good etc.Have logged out and back in and tired from multiple devices, same. 

All other aspects of the YouTube connection are positive in Google. 3rd party apps shows the Sonos app has permissions for YouTube Music. Activity is tracked in Google activity tracking. Sonos app shows ALL the right YouTube Music information on music through ALL aspects of search (New, Charts, Playlists, etc)However, I still have the error coming up in Sonos app. I can go to Google and look at activity and it shows the songs (videos though) as being played for the short period before it errors in Sonos. So the Sonos app is attempting to talk to YouTube Music, get’s a connection and link, then get’s an encoding error as it is a video it is hitting and not YouTube Music (therefor the encoding error).There are so many rabbit holes to follow to fix, but it looks like the Sonos app is sending the wrong call to YouTube and getting a “Video” response rather than a “Mp4/Music encoding” response and can’t play it resulting in an “unable to connect to YouTube Music”.It would be appreciated if y

I have an album in my library which is in WAV format (it was a download from a vinyl I bought, so I can’t rip it into another format)  I have listened to it several times over the last 2 weeks via my Sonos system but today, after updating to the latest version of the app, the album no longer appears when i search for it.If I navigate to the folder  sonos will play it but it won’t show in a search. The files haven’t changed in anyway, so I can only assume someting has changed with the app?  I saw some old posts which refer to problems with WAV tags but the articles they link to no longer exist so I can’t check what was mentioned in them to see what they suggest.if anyone has any ideas I’d appreciate it

Sonos had my Music Library added for years off my WD MyCloud NAS drive and now (either after the Sonos update or an update to MyCloud; they both happened at the same time) Sonos won’t add the library. it gives me an error.I’ve tried following instructions on the link but it has no impact. This was working and now it isn't with no affect from me 

It never happened before this latest update.  Anyone else having same issue and any idea how to resolve it?

Recent problem (within last week), connection to Spotify is lost.  I am running latest version of Sonos on all my Sonos Amps and Speakers. 

I am a premium member of YouTube Music and I have successfully added the service to my Sonos app in Android.However, when I try to play music from YouTube Music it is showing a message that access is denied. Please help. Thank you.

My system is a pair of Sonos 1’s with S2 controller. Mac OS Big Sur. After upgrading from S1 to S2 I lost acess to my Mac OS library. It resides on another drive attached to my desktop. I have tried every possible suggestion on this website and still can’t manage to get it to recognize the library. I think it has something to do with the path. When I browse for the folder on the desktop, I identify it without problem, but in the iOS Sonos app it lists a different folder. If I try to force add the folder by typing in the path, it won’t recognize it. Any ideas?

Hi,I have upgraded both Sonos 2 (13.1) and Sonos 1 on my iMac; but now i have lost my music library.II have now spent 3 days trying to reload the library to Sonos and every time i get either a1002 or my iMac is blocking Sonos access message. I spent 2 hours on the phone with one of Sonos’s support guys and achieved nothing.Everything worked perfectly prior to the download of the new Sonos version (13.1). To my knowledge nothing has been changed on my computer.Actionstaken:Norton Anti Virus removed from computerIMac Anti Virus turned on and off - neither workFile Sharing turned on and off - neither workedinternet Router turned on and off 4 timesNew Sonos 2 and Sonos 1 downloaded several timesAccess  to music file, access to iTunes access to Music all selected and all failed to load library.Does anyone know what is causing this problem?
