My Sonos Desktop app for Mac recently stopped recognizing my Sonos system. Since this has happened previously, I just uninstalled the app, reinstalled a new version, but nothing changed. I thought it might be from the most recent Mac OS update, but I don’t believe that’s the case. That said, my Sonos iPhone app still works. Any help troubleshooting would be appreciated. Here is what the Desktop app looks like while music is playing via the iPhone app:

Will Sonos buy back my £3,000 of kit now I can't load up my PC music libarary?The ‘phone service simply said ‘the technical team will have fixed this soon’ ...they haven't after a weekThe new app appears to be a disaster!  

This is what I get after uninstalling app and reinstalling. I can see and run everything from iMac but not Android. Support is appalling and chat line blinks between not there,unavailable and unhelpful. Utterrly dreadful. Possibly the worst i have experienced with any organization. Then the second image when i click to join existing system. 

Hi since installing the new app I am having continuous issues with playing same music in different rooms and each time I go to apply each it stops playing on all of them I have an Arc set up with 2 rear play1 and in the other room I have A play bar and a One I only use Youtube and radio or TV also a roam for outside 

Hello - I have a Sonos network in my main home and am now trying to add a Ray to my holiday home which hasn't got a Sonos network yet. Ive gone through the setup process and it connects to wifi network in holiday home but when it says check for updates, I immediately get the error 1101 saying unable to check for updates. The app then seems to lose the Ray and I have to go through the process again.Tried a few things and the wifi is strong so not sure why this is happening. Any ideas welcome. thanks

The recently played list does not allow deleting or clearing of an individual album from the list. It keeps saying “something went wrong”. Only option is to delete the entire list. 

After all those years and so many asked for it, should be there already!As a grandfather now who is having two new ones to sleep home frequently, this is not a nice to have!It is a must have!Otherwise, it is forgotten for days afterward!Customers are getting older you know! Pressing on the moon button to activate should have a On and a 12 hours option right there. Thanks for finally do it!

I can’t add Deezer account on Sonos app  I tried several times.    

Since the new app update, my Sonos Era 300 will not complete the setup process. I have tried connecting it to 4 different WiFi networks and creating a new Sonos account to change ownership of the speaker, but nothing is working. I contacted Sonos support and they told me it was a WiFi issue since I was using a public WiFi network at my university. I have tested this theory and found that this is no longer the case. I have used private and public WiFi networks to set up this speaker and none of them have worked. I have reset the speaker about 20 times trying to solve this issue and nothing is working still. I had the speaker connected before the new app update to my public WiFi network and now it is no longer working. Is there any fix to this? I know some people have had positive results with changing the security protocol of the WiFi network, but I can not do this since it is a public network. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Or if it is an app issue, does anyone know when th

I've got an android phone (pixel) and the app CONSTANTLY forgets my system. I open the app, my speakers are gone, it can't find them on the same Wi-Fi net. I then have to reinstall the app and sometimes it still won't find it. Left in this config for a day sometimes it magically reappears. Please fix this bug. It's pretty frustrating.

The Sonos app on my iPhone worked before the update. It now sees my wifi but doesn’t see my system and won’t let me add speakers. Airplay works though. As does the Sonos app on my laptop. Deleting and reinstalling the app did nothing. Anyone have any ideas?

The app keeps muting the playbar. It is very frustrating. Started happening a couple of weeks ago. Does anyone know how to resolve this?

Hello, the new version of Sonos for Mac (downloaded today) removed local music library access in SONOS. Trying to add music library back returns  “Unable to the shared folder… to your music library (913)”, Trying the SMB workaround suggested in similar topics returns “Unable to add the shared folder "//MBPRO715E/Music" to your Music Library (1002)”. After many tries, I decided that I should not be supposed to change my mac system options and lower the security standard on my mac (SMB sharing opens mac firewall SMB incoming connections) to make the local music folder work as it used to. I read in another topic that error 913 was to be fixed by a future update,  any news on when the local music library problem will be fixed?Thanks  

I am a musician and I have a large library of music on my NAS Drive. If I can’t search that music through Sonos, I will have to stop using Sonos and thousands of musicians and music lovers like me will do the same. It’s entirely inappropriate that under this latest version, you’ve knocked out the ability to search anything other than channels that you control. Quite ridiculous in fact; commercially stupid and it will cost you a lot of customers. 

Is it worth using TruePlay on a pair of Era 100 speakers paired in Stereo. New Era 100 arriving today to make stereo pair. I  used TruePlay on  previous One / One SL stereo set up, didn’t do it with the  Era 100:as it sounded ok out of the box. 

Hi all,is anyone else having trouble since the new update?  We have sonos products in three different rooms in our house, all on same WiFi. Network. since the recent changes every time we change a track it defaults to the same room even if we haven’t used or changed to those speakers.  We can be playing a track on one set of speakers but in the app it is showing a different track in the what I’ll call the default speakers (our dining room).    So every time we try to change what we’re listening to we have to change back to the speakers we want to use because it keeps defaulting.my gut tells me this is linked to the new queue system which I think is awful. anyone else got anything similar going on?  Its making us so frustrated.

Un réglage du son sur plusieurs enceintes parfois très compliqué tant les commandes ne réagissent pas instantanément.  after 1.5 hours of resetting every speaker and setting up the system all over again, this is the result.    Garbage system.  

I’ve waited a month or more now before venting my * thinking Sonos will fix their massive * up with the new app. No. It remains a mess. Nothing works at all. No playlists. Can’t add, can’t search. Can’t edit. Can’t do anything at all. Wtaf Sonos. It was not broke. Why try to fix it. Now you’ve massively broke it beyond repair. Revert to previous.
