I’ve had Sonos in my house since around 2015 and I’ve noticed the app has, in the last few years, become less and less reliable. It’s gotten to the point where if I want to listen to music I have to tickle the app (by accessing it then shutting it down a few times) around 20-30 mins before it will actually find my system. I can be standing a metre from my router and one of the speakers and it still can’t find it. I give up trying, come back in half an hour or so and it’s finally managed to find it.  So essentially it takes 20+ mins for the app to turn on. It was never like this until a few years ago. What’s changed ?

On the new Sonos app, the "Shuffle All Uploaded Music" option, on YouTube Music, will provide a mix of 100/25,000 songs but only gives you the option to play any one of those songs at a time.Is there a way, through YouTube Music, to shuffle and play my entire collection of uploaded content without interruption? 

I am very disappointed that it has become so difficult to add custom URL radios, now that TuneIn is not so well integrated into the Sonos App.I own several SONOS devices. I understand that you are trying to push your radio services but please bring ASAP a customer-friendly way to add custom URL radios in the SONOS App or I will never buy a SONOS product again ! I am really fed up !

I have a Sonos move and connecting it has always been an issue. But I will just keep doing things like rebooting router, deleting the app, resetting and setting back up the network, etc. and eventually it seems to work. Definitely not a “Move” which is what I needed. This last time, though, it finally started connecting and I will get the message that it’s connected and it’s solid white on the speaker as it should be. But the app itself will not return to the menu so that I can play music. It just keeps saying it can find a system on the wifi and to join the system. I’ve tried to access help, the last time sitting for over 60 minutes on hold only to be told that the steps I’ve taken repeatedly are the only fixes they have. The issue is the app. Is there a magic way to get the app to return to the page where I can play music?(I have a play five and a play one and I kept them on the older system and the older app. I can play those)

iPhone was connected to Sonos for several months but today it won’t connect.  I restarted router and amp and phone but nothing works.    Why does Sonos need to be such a pain to use?

Ok - I was able to see my playlists for about 1 week and now can’t find them. Can someone tell me how to get to my playlists on the new app? 

I've just noticed loads of radio stations have been added to my homepage. I can't delete them as they're greyed out   I also have a new section on my homepage called 'Kat Shoob'. No idea who/what that is. If I delete it it just keeps coming back.  What's going on?

Hi, I cannot connect to my account at Yousee Musik. I have tried many times including deleting and reinstalling sonos app, but everytime I get the message below. I had no problems untill the new app arrived.What can I do? 

This week, Tidal have started offering high-res and Atmos streaming to lower-tier customers.I can see plenty of albums available in Atmos via the app on my phone, but can’t get Atmos content playing from Tidal on my Sonos surround setup (Beam gen 2, Sub Mini and two Play 1s).Amazon Music plays Atmos content just fine through Sonos (my test album at the moment is Slowdive’s excellent ‘Everything Is Alive’), but if I try the same tracks via Tidal, either through the Sonos app or Airplaying via the Tidal app on my phone, I’m just hearing regular stereo.Will this require an update from Sonos to make Tidal’s Atmos content work on my Sonos setup, or are am I missing something very obvious?

OK, Im trying to add my Move to an existing sytem but I need to log in as admin in the app. But that wont work since I come back to the app which tells me to log in as admin again.  It’s looping forever.  I don’t dare to uninstall and reinstall the app since the system is working...well good enough atm. Im on Iphone, with the latest iOS. No new stuff in my network Sonos support has me on hold for over 100 minutes som Im trying my luck here. Any help on workarounds appreciated. 

Hello,I have an issue with playing local radio stations and switching them. When I play radio station A and stop it and switch to B, sonos app says it is play station B but really it is still music from radio station A. I then have to stop everything again and click on radio station B for it to actually play.So especially when using google assistant the switch also doesn't work.What is a possible solution to this? 

I have upgraded to a new version of S2 and I have a message that product not available which is my music librarycant find where to set up again. Noticed that others are having the same issue This is fundamental as I have a significant music library and was a number one requirement to go down the Sonos path all those years agoanyone have any updates 

Hello! Very recently I moved to a new place and took my sonos speakers with me. With a new wifi i had to create a new sonos system and that went really well. I factory reseted my speakers and then added them to the system. Everything works completely fine except the alarm function. It does not even play a chime, nothing. I go to the alarm page configurate an alarm and after that there is no sign from the speakers. I think it’s a bug in the app because in the menu where you choose the song for your alarm it says ”your sonos favority will show upp here” and i have plenty of sonosfavourites but none of them are showing. Please help me with this, alarms were my favourite function!

I upgraded my  iPhone yesterday and as a result the Sonos app updated automatically. I can no longer connect to my Play1. I have followed all on screen instructions, hard reset, reconnect to system, reconnect via ethernet etc but I am having no joy.  Does anyone has a solution yet? Reading the forum everything looks a big mess so I’m asking more out of hope. Thanks. 

Playing with Spotify works 100%, Deezer, randomly works and randomly just stops playing after a few seconds, skips a song, stops again... 

With the latest App update my system has totally vanished, it doesn't find any speakers when searching. Just before this happened i thought the new app was pretty much unusable anyway. is there a fix ?

Bought a new iPhone yesterday and had all of my apps transferred over including the Sonos app. The app. worked fine on my old phone, but now on my new phone, it will not show the home screen where I can control the parameters for my Arc and subwoofer. I have verified that I am logged in, and that the Arc is still plugged in and functional. How do I fix this?

I run white noise through my Ray during the night. Since adding a Sub Mini to the ray, about half the nights, the white noise will stop, and I can’t restart it. I think (it’s hard to be sure because this happens at 2am), the ray itself drops from the Sonos app. Last night, when I woke up again at 3am I was able to restart the white noise.The Ray and Sub mini are about two meters from a wifi mesh router, and I’ve never had any trouble with them dropping when watching a film or anything. I’ve restarted everything a bunch of times. As far as I can tell the problem started when I paired the Ray with the sub but I’m not 100%. Any ideas?

I recently purchased two Era 300s and while Atmos content tag shows and music plays fine on the Sonos Amazon Music app the atmos tag will not show on the Sonos Apple Music app. I have tried everything (disconnecting Apple Music, reconnecting, rebooting speakers, factory reset, etc.), I even waited 120 minutes to speak to a tech rep who incorrectly was convinced I needed to have 3 separate Sonos speakers to play atmos music… is anyone else experiencing this issue?

I have downloaded the new app to my iPhone and one iPad and these devices are no longer able to connect to my Sonos system. Whereas I’ve kept the old Sonos app on another iPad and am still able to connect fine. i have contacted Sonos who were unable to fix my issue. Is this unique to me or is anyone else experiencing the same?

What is the estimated schedule for releasing an updated version of the new app to fix some of the basic problems, namely stability and basic functionality?It's obvious that the new app was released without proper testing, it is simply awful and unreliable. Wouldn't it be best to revert to the previous app until this version is ready for prime time? The extensive amount of work this app needs, to make it at least as usable and functional as the old app, will require months of work!Why release a new app that is supposedly better, when it doesn't even come close to meeting the (acceptable) standards of the old app? The Sonos community is losing patience!

INTERMITTENT ISSUE SINCE THE APP UPDATE:  A specific set of my Sonos speakers (a paired set of Ones in my office with a mini subwoofer) keep dropping out. A song will suddenly just stop playing over the speakers (although it’s still playing on the player). Then it’ll either jump to the next song, which may or may not start playing. I then have to close the desktop app. Close my iphone app. Some times unplug and plug the speakers back into power. I’ve also rebooted my router numerous times. This has happened to me numerous times today while working. All was fine before the app update.I have a mesh wifi system (main Orbi router with two satellites, one within five feet of my office), two Sonos Boosts (one on either end of the house - one is actually in my office), a Sonos Home Theater setup in living room (Arc, subwoofer and a pair of Ones) and two Roams in bedrooms. Any ideas on how to fix?

I just recently had my modem and router replaced, I had to factory reset my system To get it to connect to the new network and it connected and was working properly, but whe I checked it the following morning now my Sonos is saying my system is not found on my network, how can I fix this?
