Hi,
I’ve installed iPadOS 18 public beta and have tried to play atmos music via airplay2 to my Era 300 but it’s only playing stereo. Does Sonos need to perform an update to enable Airplay Atmos, or is this an Apple restriction?

It’s an i0S Beta so it’s most likely an Apple glitch as AirPlay is an Apple codec. Sonos isn’t going to make adjustments for a beta that may change upon final release. Sonos might make adjustments for a Release Candidate version but definitely not for a beta. In fact if AirPlay isn’t working the beta is where those things are uncovered and people like yourself report their findings.

That makes sense. Fingers crossed Sonos is actually one of the “compatible 3rd party” partners Apple is making this available to.
