I use a NAS to store my music. In the new app, the 3 dots at the bottom/right are greyed out so crossfade, sleep timer, etc don’t work. When will these features be added back to the new app? (note: they were available on the old app)

Some albums in Apple Music show up incomplete on the Sonos App. For instance, an album on Apple Music may have 10 tracks but Sonos only shows 3. Why is this?

With the new version of the app, I have lost the ability to connect my personal music library.  I have my personzl music library on my computer’s hard disk as well as on a drive connected to my computer via USB. How do I get that capability back ?

yo guys i need some help when downloaded the app it keeps saying i need to make a softwaree update and when  i press install it just doesnt install. ive done everything from delete the app to rebooting my sonos era 100 idk waht to do

Hi all,the new app update completely broke the system with 5 Symfonisk speakers we have at work. Right after the update, accoring to the app there is no Sonos system set up on our network at all.I reset all speakers, but when I go through the setup process again, all goes fine up until the point I enter my WiFi network details, it proceeds to the next step of connecting but infinitely hangs at this point until it says the speaker is connected but may not be visible until I restart the speaker.After doing this and rebooting the speaker, it never shows up in system settings.The weird thing is, they're definitely all connected to the network because I can use them using AirPlay, but the Sonos app still says there is no network.I have updated the app two times now since the new app (first to 80.01.30 and then to 80.02.04). Both versions give the same result.Does anyone have any suggestion here? Ethernet is not an option as we do not have access

Since upgrading to the new app I am not able to set up truplay on my arc which is linked to two one SLs.I am using an iPhone 15 Pro Max - version 18.0Sonos S2 v16.2I attempt to start trueplay tuning, and i always get stuck on this screen. pressing continue does nothing. please can someone help? 

Trying to install the app. I download the latest Sonos S2 file from Sonos support site.  Add Sonos to my applications Open Sonos app App opens but the screen is black, I get loading spinner forever.  App stays unresponsive, I have to Force Quit On my other Mac, the software update fails and the app is also unresponsive. I have 5x Sonos speakers but I’m losing patience and have not purchased anymore speakers due to various software issues.  Macbook M2 Pro 16” 2023MacOS Ventura 13.6 

Hi Sonos Community,Can anyone help me, please?I recently lost all my music in my Sonos library through an update, probably like most of you have done in the past. I eventually got it back again with the fix that was provided. However, before all this, I used to download music from YouTube to my Windows Music Library. Then, as soon as I updated my Sonos library, it would automatically show there as well. Now, I am downloading to the Windows Music Library, okay, but when I update the Sonos library, it did not show there. My Windows Music Library is definitely showing as being added to the Sonos Music Library Settings, but when I update Sonos Library Settings Now, it does not show there as it used to. Any ideas why? Thank you.HB

Is there a way to stop services from automatically adding pinned collections to the Home Screen?Is it possible to remove recently played, favourites and any of the other default categories from the Home Screen? Looking for more control over what is actually displayed there. 

Just updated to the new app and found that the main way I play music to my speakers has been broken.  I utilize “Music Library” > “Folders” to play music so that I can choose which FLACs I play over the Sonos system (I had to downsample some HD FLACs so Sonos can play them).  This has always worked with both the S1 and S2 controller apps.However after the update, it will still play the song I selected but it shows “No Title” for the song title, does not show time played/remaining, and does not proceed to the next song as normal if you were to select a song in an list of songs from an album.  Everything works fine if I go into “Music Library” > “Artists” or another method of selecting songs.

I have literally spent hundreds of dollars, as have so many others, to purchase Sonos speakers. I don’t want to stream, I want to listen to my 10,000-song iTunes library - that was one of the selling points of this “system.” It worked fine for years, and now it doesn’t. I have spent HOURS of my life searching, Googling, reading these forums, plodding through endless “solutions” where I have to waste time in Windows trying to allow permission to access my music folders, yet it never works in the end.I am so tired of trying different 50-step “solutions” offered by Sonos “customer service.” You can blame Apple all you want, but it is on SONOS to have a simple process by which customers - again, customers who have spent a lot of money on your products - can simply and easily add their iTunes library to the Sonos system. I am no longer view my list of albums or songs downloaded from Spotify and cannot therefore play them. Can anyone help me please?

So the other day I went to play music from my sonos library  where the mudi  is stored on WD myhome NAS drive A I got was an error saying it can't  be found Then tries to update the music library and got a message like Mycloud/public/music is no longer available Then I tried removing the link to the folder Took a few attempts  but eventually  removed Now I can't add it back as a shared folderI have never had an issue with it before I can still access the drive from my laptop  and still able to add music to the folder Any help would be appreciated  

Is ‘recently played’ supposed to be functional or is that a feature not yet available in the new (May/June 2024) Sonos app? Thus far all I see is ‘your recent history will show here once you’ve played some content.’ I’ve played plenty of content. That message remains unchanged. I do have search history enabled in ‘app preferences.’ I do not see a setting to separately activate or deactivate recently played.Is this a feature still awaiting development in a later version of the new app, or am I experiencing a glitch?

I cannot play anything from Apple music. If I select one of my playlists all the music is there I can play any song but the songs keep shuffling to other songs in the playlist after 10 seconds of nothing and nothing ever plays.I can play Amazon music no problem, I can play Sonos radio no problemI have removed and re-installed Apple music, I have changed it from my primary streaming app to secondary. I’m at a loss and trying to get Sonos support… Good luck. The Sonos Support chat function keeps telling me all Support for Chat is too busy so it links you to call Support. Sure… Told that there is a 75 minute wait time. A call back feature would be nice.

On the old Sonos app, there was an 'End Session' function that is not on the new app.  My question is how do you end a Session on the new app without having to physically turn each speaker off? Thanks everyone

Haven’t been able to connect the system but all of a sudden music begins streaming through one speaker 1 (of 2). Checked the App on desktop (Mac) using previous v.version of app and it was playing. I stopped the service as we were watching tv. So my question is: what is causing an impromptu stream when I can’t get connected using the app. New version of App does not work at all unless I reboot the router. I look forward to a reply.

I can see that I am now alone - however I am beyond frustrated.  It has been several months since I installed a new modem and router.  At first I was able to struggle to get my 3 components on the network, however I had to add them each time I used the system.  After a month, I have been unable to get my system running again.  Repeatedly I have reset each component, restarted the modem and the router, added each component….only to have one or none appear in my system and then only on one device (usually my iMac.) My system is totally broken now.  It is a weekend now and of course after negotiating the website only the chatbot is available, which says I have to call later for an agent.  I am a very unhappy long time Sonos  customer.  Arrgh.

 I get a message that we are required to register an account and start paying  a subscription. We paid thousands of $ for our Sonos system and I refuse to start paying to listen to our local radio Station.  Am I reading this correctly? 

How do I go back to S2? This new app does not work at all and I am not waiting until Sonos decides to fix it in the coming months. I have read several treads now and @sonos does not seem to give 2 ***** about fixing it or what is doing to the reputation. I have been a loyal customer for decades. But this will make me sell everything I own and go to Apple. Maybe that’s what they want? Can’t believe these companies can just change **** that we pay for, so tired of these companies thinking they have the power to do what they want when it’s us that have to pay the consequences. time to go back to CDs and MP3’s with a good old receive and booming speakers they can’t just one day decide to not make work. Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the

Is the reason I cannot add my Sonos One speakers on to my new Wi-Fi network because of this horrendous ‘upgrade’? Using my iPad and / or phone, it just says it cannot find them to connect. Been on hold to Sonos Support now for 2hours 25 minutes and counting…

Since the app update, I’ve been unable to join two rooms on my system to play the same content at the same time. How can I troubleshoot this?

After the latest patch i have lost all my Tune-in stations- again- urgh!. I now see Tune-in (New) twice under Connected Services and can’t re-authorise either of them- i get the “Something went wrong Check your internet connection and try again”. This is really 3rd rate stuff i’d expect from some no name supplier - Sonos fix what you broke ffs.
