I’m a TuneIn Premium subscriber and I’m not able to open TuneIn Premium (commercial free) stations on Sonos. Why?

Successfully added the music library to my Mac desktop app. But with zero content.Suggestions? I noticed that Sonos finally updated the support guide for adding a library, the solution that had already been posted by users multiple times. But still, nothing to play.

Prior to the recent app upgrade I was able to mute the speaker in one room of a group by simply clicking on the speaker icon for that room.  Since the upgrade, I've been unable to do that, and note that other users have identified this as a backward step in the updated app too.  The options now seem to be either to slide the volume to zero or to take the room out of the group.  The mute function was really useful if needing to quickly and temporarily mute the volume of one speaker e.g. to take a phone call.  The release notes for 80.02.04(iOS) say ‘introduced mute button on iOS’ but that seems to be for all the speakers in a group, so is there a way to mute individual speakers using the iOS app?  The Mac controller v.16.2 does still offer this feature.

Don’t get me started on the way Sonos has treated our own music collections in the new app. Despicable, and instead of being excited about buying new Sonos hardware this year, I am now looking elsewhere.I was finally able to add my network music files back, that had oddly disappeared after the new app update (using the desktop app). Now, I browse to a location and “pin” it to my home screen (which works fine) - but when I go to my home screen there is an error saying the pinned collection is no longer available, and should be deleted. I have a Sonos Connect and Play:3 with the S1 app. There are no updates available.But now the titles (from albums and playlists) are missing while browsing Apple Music, making it impossible to find music!How do I solve this? 

In light of this new app complete disaster (100% of my customers hate it, not to mention all the missing features, and the fact that Sonos continues to spend money marketing their stupid headphones instead of rolling back the app until they actually have a working product), I am considering other options. Does anyone here have any first hand experience with Blusound (or an alternative)? They have some interesting products that fill the hole in the products Sonos is lacking.But I would really like to hear from some folks who actually sell and deploy alternate systems, preferably largeish  ones (20+ amps) per job.  How's the app? Ease of use compared to the bulletproof S1System hardware reliable?Deployment easy?Anything else? Thanks in advance.

Hello, My Sonos app is not controlling my Play 3 speaker anymore. The app is constantly showing error messages that there is no product found, yet it finds the product after about thirty minutes. I then play a song and half way through the song the app just shows the error message that there is no product! Yet it was playing the song!? I press the volume but there is no immediate response. Three minutes later the volume adjusts! There is tremendous lag with every single function on the app. Also if I press a function in the app (like Spotify) the whole app freezes and I have to try and close everything and start again. Also the app will not shut down, as it doesn't respond to commands in the app (as the app is frozen). I go to the 'force stop' command on my phone and this doesn't even work to stop the app. The app is completely unusable and it is not communicating with my Play 3 properly. I've rebooted all devices and nothing helps. I don't want to factor

Has anyone else had an issue with the volume control in the new app ? I have 2 stereo pairs and a sub in my kitchen and when I change the volume on the app (without opening both speaker volume controls) it just changes the volume on the pair listed first in the group. On the previous app it changes all linked speakers. It makes group volume control very clunky. I’m guessing it’s either an oversight or you have to set up the group volume control somewhere. Any ideas?  Cheers   

When do you plan to fixthe app?

Brand new ROAM SL wont update, won't connect (error 1101), have tried everything to no avail. Please fix this or give me my money back.

The new app is not ready for release. It is plagued with problems it is clunky, slow, fails to connect, auto corrects volume. I am currently unable to use my system with the new app and I am unable to put the S2 app back on my iOS phone.Why is there no Sonos staff on the community pages offering advice or explaining what’s happening I am at a bit of a loss. I have five Sonos products and until recently used them every day, if anybody has any advice I would love to hear from you!!  what on earth were they thinking🤷🏽‍♀️

Today (06/21/24) I went to select a new Apple playlist in my Sonos S1 library but none of the Apple playlist titles are showing up anymore. Individual songs under each playlist seem to be there, but the playlist titles are not, so I don’t know which playlist I’m selecting. Rebooting my computer and selecting “Update Music Library Now” did not solve the problem.How do I get the Apple playlist titles back?Thanks for your help.   

The new app doesn’t react when I want to turn off music, change volume and source.Any one who experienced the same?

Why's is the new app Volume Control so slow to respond?  Are there plans to fix it?  It’s a terrible characteristic of the new app.  Almost enough to keep me from buying Sonos in the future.

I keep on getting "something went wrong" when trying to play music

Hi, I am disappointed by the significant loss of functionality with the latest update to Sonos. The current software interface you now provide lacks useful features that influenced my decision to purchase and recommend your product in the past. Is there a way to return my product and receive a refund of my money? I have invested time in configuring Sonos to meet my needs, and the update takes away many of the useful functionality you offered in the past.   The new app is slower and more buggy than the prior version. If you are going to make these changes, please create a classic version of the software so users can keep using what was working in the past.   

I have read several of the concerns about the apparent removal of the music library and the related 913 Error Code. I’ve tried the solution that was posted about adding sharing to the files that I’d like in the music library. I have four files that previously made up my library. I added sharing to each file and still couldn’t add the files to the library. I tried updating and rebooting my computer and got the same result, a 913 error code.Is there something else I can do?I have added Sonos products over the years so I could play my music from my libraries. I’m really not interested in the streaming services. I read the email from Sonos about the changes coming and thought that libraries on your own computer would still work.Thanks for any help.  

Is it just me, or is it not possible to turn off the status light for a Sonos Connect, when using the new app?The slider in the app lets me choose on or off for the status light, but this has not effect on the Connect itself: the light stays always on.Connect on S2/16.2 79.0-52294App iOS/80.01.30 

When i search for an artist on sonos and i select the name of the artist on the apple music service, i get to the artist page with the artist picture and the list of tracks. If i press the “play” key under the picture of the artist like i would  do on the apple music native app on my iphone, the first track is one of the artist i selected  but then it moves to another artists, it looks like it’s playing the artist station instead of the artist tracks only. Basically it doesn’t seem to be possible to access the artist on the apple music service and then play only that artist tracks if not manually selecting them and create the queue. Any suggestion ?

Using Deezer I select a playlist of top tracks to play on my Sonos system and some tracks play and some don't. On the tracks that don't play it says something along the lines of "can't play track because the Deezer server can't be found". It then goes through the tracks and one starts playing. It seems that some tracks just don't want to play where others are fine. I've submitted diagnostics: ************ Moderator Note: Recorded and removed diagnostics number. Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.

After last app-update on Samsung Android in June 24 the albumcover got lost when music is played from NAS (Synology). It is only possible on Desktop version not on mobile device. Compared to older app-versions there is also no function for new-reading library. May I hope that future updates will solve these issues?

Sonos support for the Fire HD has always been weak.  The new app (80.03) is a step backwards. I use my Fire HD 8 in landscape mode.  Sonos software seems to make little or no adjustment for landscape mode.  The album art has always been squeezed into a small space -- the controls are larger than they need to be, so the art gets squeezed.  The new software version makes the art even smaller.  Is the new version working on improving landscape mode?I am happy to send screen shots.  I am also available to test any beta of the FireOS if that is helpful.

I am stuck in a loop - new App forces me to re sign in as owner ..but I am already signed in (and I am the system owner). This means: I cannot access radio any longer and I cannot add products to my system
