I know there are many pissed off costumers with the new app. I certainly am one of them. My main problem is that since the update I keep losing access to my NAS library. I know the there is that SMB v1 no longer supported thing. But I cannot see if my WD mybook 1.5 TB NAS is the case. I went through all the settings and cannot see anything on which SMB version it has. I would suspect it has v2 or v3 as it is only 5 years old., The strange thing is that everytime there is an IOS S2 update I loose my local music. Only way to get it back is to use my windows sonos app. Damn it is frustrating!!! listening to music should be relaxing and Sonos has managed to flip that around.
Anyone has any idea on how to fix. So, if I change my NAS Sonos still has not re introduced the search capability, and honestly I think they won’t! I will give it another month and if it is not fixed some people will get a very good price for my used Sonos HW
