sonos app is flaky

Why is the Sonos app/ devices so flaky? The devices constantly disappear from the APP and there is no easy way to fix this.

i bought a new sub mini, which connected when I first connected it but then said it was not connected and then completely disappeared from the App. I’ve tried everything from resetting the sub to resetting the router.  Nothing works.

 

in the mean time, My Arc SL also appeared as “not connected “ in the App!

 

When I tried to call support, I have a 60 MINUTE (!!) wait time!

I am sick of Sonos! How do I fix these issues?

One doesn’t just fix these issues. They are bugs due to Sonos releasing an incomplete buggy AF app. 
 

You can wait it out and hope they fix it sooner rather than later 

Or some other ideas

  • Go back to v16.1 on Android
  •  use the desktop app (Mac or Windows)
  • use a third party control app on iOS such as SonoPhone. 
  • use airplay
  • wait on hold for support and maybe they help you fix it. Probably not but you never know.
