When is the new app going to work?

[Edit - I meant to say “ever going to work”]

It’s been several months now and basic functionality, like the volume control, still don’t work. I don’t know why I’m bothering to explain, since 1) everyone who uses the app knows this, and 2) Sonos apparently doesn’t read this forum, but:

1. it’s now completely random whether the volume controls will take effect
2. it takes 5-60 seconds to decide
3. it often applies the change to some but not all rooms
4. the room volume sliders bounce around

And even starting a stream is a random process - the app thinks for a while and then, maybe you get what you wanted, maybe nothing happens. I was at a dinner party on Saturday, everyone has multi-room Sonos, and everyone is having nothing but trouble with the new app.

I’m only highlighting one basic feature that doesn’t work. There are more. This is really inexcusable that it’s been months and nothing has changed. I guess the entire dev team is working on headphones?
