I want to be able to create playlists of music which is stored on my Motorola (Moto g8 Plus) phone. Ideally I would like to import and play iTunes playlists I have already created on my laptop. 9 months ago someone called Bob95... had exactly the same issue and had a conversation with John B on this forum. The solution for Bob, recommended by John, was to install Samsung Music. This worked for him but will not work for me as this app is incompatible with my phone. What's the solution for non Samsung users- or more specifically for Moto g8 Plus users? I've tried a few music apps- unsuccessfuly.Cheers
So we have two Sonos speakers we can use to play radio, and some spotify and thats it. I have a LARGE collection of CD’s with unique tracks that i have saved on my computer as MP3. Spotify plays them beautiful everywhere EXCEPT on Sonos. Sonos makes them unavailable and this makes Sonos worthless to us. If Sonos had an AUX cable input, then at least i could use that, but the sonos app wont play my music. Has Sonos fixed this on newer generation speakers? Because we have now “legacy” speakers which are now unsellable and dont have an AUX input, its a ridiculous system that we regret ever buying, and we are preventing our large network from doing so because its worthless. Anyone knows if the newer models support playing music you own that has not been bought to streaming services? THANKS
I have a old ZP120 but no longer have a computer. I have WiFi thru cable and an iPad. Can we connect this way?
I am using Sonos Boost to connect my Sonos speakers. The Boost is hardwired to the wifi router. I want to replace my AC1200 router with a Netgear Orbi AC3000 mesh router to get better wifi connectivity throughout the house. But I’m reading a lot about incompatibility issues. Before I buy the Orbi, I want to make sure I won’t have the same problems I used to have when I used a wifi extender (got rid of it due to the issues). If I connect the Boost to the ethernet port on the Orbi, will I still need to mess with manual configuration? Is there another wifi mesh router that Sonos recommends?
I Have a stereo paired Sonos one - since January 2018. Suddenly the left speaker stopped playing, I have tryout setting them up as new pair of speakers, but the left one only works with a network kabel and not as wifi ( and it is the right wifi network ) could it be the build in wifi in the speaker that is dead
My system does not work after I receive a new router
I just moved home and had to re-setup my Sonos in the new place. It was pretty much flawless in the old house, but now we’re set up in the new place we’re getting very strange dropouts when running multi-room audio. One thing we like to do is watch TV while cooking - the 5.1 system is in the same large room as the kitchen (i.e. combined kitchen/family room) but the stove is at the other end and is difficult to hear the TV from there. I have a Sonos One for kitchen music and so will pipe TV audio to that speaker so we can hear the TV even better. I don’t recall any major issues with this at the old house, but at the new house it drops out constantly. It’s a large room but definitely not bigger than the old house. I talked with Sonos support (case 02208995), they advised me changing my 2.4ghz channel to 1 would solve it but it is still happening. I use a Netgear Orbi for networking. Not sure how Sonos does multiroom audio but my wi-fi is plenty strong/fast enough, but the satellit
I have new router. The Sonos apps on my iphone and ipad have found my Sonos system, but the controller on my (Windows 10) PC can’t find it.I’ve tried every option on the support pages, but nothing works. I get to the stage where the light on a unit flashes orange but the nothing happens. I’ve tried this with each unit in turn – the Play:3 the Play:5 and both Connects. I’ve also tried rebooting them all and rebooting the router.Any suggestions?
My Playbase keeps muting (rapidly on and off) during TV. I have disconnected WiFi and the AutoTV but it is still happening. I also replaced the optical cable. This started about 2 weeks ago and is driving us nuts!
Suddenly we unable to play some of our music which we have ripped into iTunes and uploaded to Apple Music. On our phones, although it’s greyed out it will play but those songs won’t play on Sonos? Those songs are also greyed out on Sonos but won’t play. Do you have advice you can offer, many thanks.

I was trying to add Amp to my “Family Room”. I was adding the Amp to connect wired speakers to my TV setup. The house actually also has speakers prewired in a games room and outside on the patio all connected to a hardwired switch box. When I clicked “Add product”, it found the amp but instead of Amp being part of my Family Room set up (including play bar, sub and a pair of one speakers) it appears in “Family Room 2”, with no other products. And the sound is perhaps consequently not coming out of the connected wired in speakers. My question is how do I remove this Family Room 2 or at least get the Amp to be part of Family Room where all the other Sonos components are. Or is there some other reason that the Amp is not functioning and playing the sound into the different rooms? It’s a complicated issue I know. Thanks.
I recently was given bad advice by the Sonos sales team that i could buy the Sonos beam surround set and not have to upgrade to S2. Unfortunately when it arrived, upon connecting the bass speaker i was told i would need to upgrade. I went through the process of upgrading as i thought i could run S1 and S2 in parallel, (although i was trying to avoid this). I had both systems up and running although through different apps it worked. I could handle that for the time being as i intended to upgrade again in the future to move entirely to S2. However, now when ever i go into my S1 app. I get the switch to S2 splash page and i have to reconnect my S1 system. This has essentially rendered it useless as its a painful process each time i want to use. I now use a Bose bluetooth speaker in my dining room instead. Does anyone else have this problem? Im reluctant to go through support again as they will just show me how to reconnect, when what i really need is a permanent solutio
Radio Suisse Classique: Sonos connects then immediately halts. The German and Italian channels of RSC are online on Sonos and TuneIn and are playable. The French RSC is online and available on a PC browser and also on my stand-alone Web radio. I’ve updated all the player firmware and upgraded to S2 controller and rebooted all the Sonos units.
I’ve been having ongoing issues with my Sonos S2 system, receiving the following errors (at random):Unable to connect to device. Try again later. Unable to add songs to the Queue Unable to play ‘SONG XXX’ - the connection to Apple Music was lost. Unable to play ‘SONG XXX’ - the song is not encoded correctly. Unable to play ‘SONG XXX’ - network connection speed insufficient to maintain playback buffer. Unable to play the selected item. An error occured while adding tracks to the Queue (1000) An error occured while adding tracks to the Queue (1001) An error occured while adding tracks to the Queue (1002)This is on top of music just cutting out intermittently. Obviously, quite frustrating, certainly because at other moments, everything seems to be working just fine without receiving any error messages. Note that a) my internet connection is working properly and 2) I have a wired setup, including two Sonos Boosters. I’ve also made sure the SonosNet Channel (6) is different from my 2.4G Wif

How do I get my deezer favorites in the app to show up in deezer on sonos?
I’ve had my Sonos one for about a week now and it’s been working fine. Today, it won’t connect through the android app, it’s not showing in spotify on Mac and it’s not available in AirPlay but it’s still showing on my home network. Connection is listed as great, it has the same IP. I’ve tried rebooting it but it won’t reconnect.
Hello everyone, I have this frustrating issue where my Sonos fails to connect. I have to reset my router almost daily. When it says Sonos has failed to connect, all my other devices are connected and operational. I do have a Sonos boost connected too, could this be the issue? I have contacted my internet provider who have looked into everything and it all ok on their side. please see attached photo for diagnostic number and issue.
Hi, I’m having trouble keeping my Sonos One connected to my mesh network; from looking around, it seems like people have been able to use Sonos products with the Nighthawk AX1800 (EAX20) mesh extender, so I’m wondering if there’s some misconfiguration on my end. I didn’t change a lot of settings when I set things up, there are separate 2.4ghz and 5ghz networks (I’m not using the Smart Connect features, which combine them) and all the Sonos devices are connected to the 2.4ghz. So everything is connected via the same SSID and password, but if a device switches to connecting to the mesh extender, it becomes unavailable in the Sonos app. The main router is a Nighthawk AX5400 (RAX50S). Anyone have ideas if there are settings I could be changing here to resolve this?
Hey, me and my roommates get two additional speakers up when we’re on Spotify (where we would connect to our Sonos directly from the spotify app). The two speakers are obviously not connected to my user so they don’t show up in my Sonos app. I know it is Sonos speakers as I once by a mistake connected to the speakers and when I opened the Sonos app I was connected to another user (but obviously couldn’t do anything as I needed to log on for further action.) Does this mean that they are using our WiFi? I can connect from Spotify and play from the app and it plays in one of my neighbors apartment. The speakers only show up when I am connected to our WiFi, not if I’m on my 4G. Is there any other reason the speakers would show up?
I just upgraded to S2 and now the sound on my Plabase is very tinny. Even with max bass there is no real depth of sound. Used t be terrific full bodied sound in S1. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Hello!I purchased an LGOLED55CXPUA about a month ago. On set up I was able to configure the magic remote to control my Sonos playbar using the volume using the Device Control settings. The mute button would not work but the + & - for volume did which was all I needed. As of yesterday magic remote no longer controls the volume of the playbar. I saw this topic https://en.community.sonos.com/home-theater-228993/lg-oled55cx-magic-remote-not-working-with-playbar-6843515 which describes my situation perfectly & see that this was resolved with LGs software update (03.10.20). My TV is running 03.11.10When I contacted LG they just sent me a reply telling me about how great LG soundbars are! Points for chutzpah if nothing else…Any help from you good people would be greatly appreciated!
Changed wifi password and now Sonos can’t find our products. We updated to the new password but still no connection. Any help?
