Hi,Yesterday one of the regular updates came through on my system and I pressed the update button. One of my Play:3 speakers updated fine, the other gave the Error code 32 message that is in the title.I can’t use the one that failed the update, as it’s now trying to update each time I select that speaker and failing. Any idea how I can recover from the update that has just turned my speaker into a brick :p?Thanks.

I thought the days of wrestling with the Roam were behind us, but alas, I am having connection problems once again. I recently changed internet providers and of course that necessitated a new router. All my other Sonos kit transferred easily to the new router. Only the Roams (I have 2) have caused me problems.The app says my black Roam is "not connected" and the white Roam is "powered off". Both have direct power and are fully charged.I am able to link to the white Roam by Bluetooth, but I can't get either to link to the wifi. In fact I can't even get the black Roam to go into pairing mode (side rant, I still really hate the flimsy, recessed power button on the back of the Roam and its time-based functionality) I have tried everything. I have powered everything down, I have run the "find missing products" feature but it always fails. I wish there was an ethernet port on the Roam so I could at least hardwire it. Right now it's useless. 

sonos has become utterly useless as a playback service for amazon music.songs stop in the middle of playback - error message   the song is not encoded correctly.or sonos just drops the link to amazon - error message  the connection to Amazon Music was lostI get these messages not one or twice a day but dozens.  I have asked tech support for help on these for years now.I gather since their developers refuse to fix this is it is a sonos/google doesn’t want to play well with amazon.Wish I had not invested in as many speakers or I would abandon sonos immediately.their speakers would be best suited for small boat anchors.   

Will it be possible to use a generic USB-C to Ethernet adapter with the new Era speakers? That’s instead of the $39 Sonos adapter. Cheers! 

Hi, as Alexa is officially supported by Sonos in Poland since today, I tried to set it up. Unfortunately the only voice service available to me is Sonos Voice Control. I am using iOS app which is up to date, just like Sonos system itself.What am I missing? 

If a Sonos One Gen 1 is stereo paired with a Sonos One Gen 2 - does the speed of the Gen 1 hinder the speed of the voice assistant booting up as Alexa currently boots up quicker on my Gen 1 - almost automatically - than Sonos Voice Control? Is Sonos Voice generally more responsive on Sonos One Gen 2?

Does anyone know the power consumption of the Five at full volume in watts

My play bar from 2018 has been cutting out. I suspect it's overheating because the longer I unplug it, the longer it runs again after being plugged back in.Does anyone have any suggestions on causes or how to repair it?Another possibility, but I don't know if it has a temperature sensor somewhere, might be faulty temperature reading.

I have a BT UK router and I am thinking about getting one of their WiFi disks to help extend the WiFi upstairs, does this work OK with Sonos? Or are there issues?To be clear, I don’t want a possible mesh BT WiFI disk for Sonos, just for a TV upstairs that has poor WiFI connection sometimes. Most of my Sonos is on SonosNet and my portable speakers seem to do fine on the WiFi.If I got a BT Disk, could this upset Sonos?

Hi I have a brand new Sonia arc, I managed to set the arc up on the app, once I did the update it is won’t connect - I have tried to reset to factory settings but it won’t - it is showing a blinking white light. I am unable to remove the device from my app as well. Can someone help? 

I have an S1 network in my house and it’s been working fine for a very long time.  Most of the existing speakers can be upgraded to S2, but frankly I don’t want to go through the headaches of it if I don’t have to.  I recently purchased new speakers (Play1 and a Ray) and have tried to set them up on the S2 app, I go through the set up and then they don’t show up.  I have access to them through a third party app (SonoPhone) but not S2.  On the S2 app the Account, System and Services are all greyed out.  I’d really like to get them working.  I’m super frustrated and tired of wasting all this time going around in circles.  I’ve tried unplugging/plugging in, resetting my router, I have them plugged directly into my router.  If anyone could offer assistance that would be great.Thanks!

Hi,So recently I bought a new home cinema setup but it comes with only a HDMI input for a separate channel. I managed to connect the Sonos Port with a RCA converter to HDMI. Though when I pair my home cinema setup with my Play:1 in the kitchen i have a delay. Probably the delay is caused by the converter. Does anyone have a solution for this? Right now I have the 2x RCA converter to HDMI. Though I could not find one that converts the digital coaxial to HDMI.

Hi there,the Sonos Roam is supposed to indicate a low battery by flashing the orange LED. Mine does not do that. Even at 10% or less. It is new.Any ideas?Regards,Julian

Hello, I have a stereo pair of ERA 100s. While the system does not have any hiccups when I use the S2 app, sometimes I want to connect via bluetooth to play something like a video or audio files that I can’t do through the app.  I’ve noticed when using bluetooth, occasionally I get a brief cutout of audio from one of the paired speakers. I’m in the same room, I’ve tried connecting to the paired speakers via different bluetooth devices, but regardless, sound will briefly cut out every now and then.I’m not sure if this is a network issue or not, but using the S2 app does not have the same kind of issue.

Roam stops working, assistant says can’t connect to wifi, Roam not visible in Android app.In Windows desktop app Roam is visible and works normally, check for update and desktop app reports that an update is required, Roam is updated, after update Roam appears in Android app.This has happened on a number of occasions, I wonder why?

Alexa is live in Luxembourg and Sonos/Alexa works well in France. What is Sonos waiting for to activate Alexa in Luxembourg?

Sonos Radio and music library plays on Sonos One stereo pair but not youtube premium. In fact, youtube videos won’t even play when Airplay is connected. It’s not youtube music; youtube premium. Is there some reason for this? 

Hi guys,I wonder if it’s possible combine a Devialet Dione Soundbar with 2 Sonos ERA 300 in the front and a Sonos Sub 3Gen. I have a Denon AMP pretty new and 2 bookshelf speakers what i would like to use as a rear sorrounds.Is It possible integrate this or have such a configuration with Sonos Port or Amp???Thank UJoanC

Hello, I’ve been suffering from unstable connection to my two Play:1 and beam. They keep disconnecting and suffering from high ping and packet loss while streaming music. This happened as well on another router that I had before, the only solution I found was connecting the sonos beam to ethernet and the play:1 to sonosNet. Now this solution is no longer possible so I’m looking for a fix. Troubleshooting I have found it is a problem with the sonos devices. If they are not connected the network functions as expected. Logs sent: 276719397Extra info: 3 different rooms set up, the problem aggravates when joining two or more rooms together. Other non-sonos devices don’t suffer from packet loss. The connection is strong, so it’s not physical interference either. Thanks,Kind regards

If I choose to register for the upgrade credit does anything at all change with the speakers that I register for the credit? do they still work (never bricked by the system) and still get updates, etc? it says my Sonos One and One SL’s are eligible but I don’t want to lose them from my system.

Hi,I have set up 3 different speakers (2 One SL and 1 Era 100) and would like to play Radio from Sonos app.I see that it doesnt play when I am not in the same Wifi my mobile and speakers.Is this the way ? Or is something else?

I don't know what happened, but suddenly I can barely hear the sound coming from my speakers. Until recently, I could perfectly hear the sound with my volume set around level 20. Now, I have to set the volume level set to 70+ to get the same quality. No, no hearing issues (past or present)...and it's not the "Loudness" nor "Night" options. Has this happened to anyone else?  Grim

I have an LG UK6090PUA TV connected to a Gen 2 Beam, along with a Gen 3 Sub and two One SLs for surrounds. The setup sounds great for movies and TV and also for music played through the Sonos app. Music played through the TV, however, sounds downright awful. Like really, really bad — totally unlistenable, which is a real shame because I have a great music video collection that I would love to have playing in the background when hosting company.I’ve downloaded a bunch of open-license music videos from the internet and extracted the audio for listening only, and I’ve got both the MOV video and MP3 audio versions in my media library. It’s the same exact audio stream for both the videos and the audio files (16-bit 44.1kHz stereo), and having the same audio stream in both formats provides a clear example of just how stark the contrast is.A song played through the Sonos app on my phone sounds great, with all speakers playing at appropriate volume levels and the stereo signal split appropriat

Hi. I‘m about to buy a Sonos Five and record player. I have a trusty Play3 that’s regularly used. Once I get the Five I’m not sure what to do with the Play3 other than use it in another room.Can the Play3 be used as part of the record player/Five system or is that pointless?ThanksAlan

Our arc volume has suddenly decided to slide up to max and it can only be held at a lower place by sliding it back on the phone screen and holding it there. Take your thumb off and it slides right back up. On the tv screen the + sign is jiggling up and down. Turning the system off then back on hasn’t helped. Adjusting by tapping the arc sound bar volume controls directly doesn’t hold it either.Has this happened to anyone else?
