I have the Sonos Roam. I have it connected to my epson projector through Bluetooth for sound. is there a way to stop the Sonos from automatically turning off when I turn the projector off. it turns off with projector but won't turn on when the projector turns on. Is there a way to stop it from turning off or is there a way to get it to turn on when the projector turns on. I use Navida shield as my tv source. Thank you

Its been weird, the sonos sub makes plopping “Blop” sounds in standby mode. Sounds like bubbels. What could this issue be.updated firmware nothing is streaming system is in standby modeSeems like its emptying a capacitor, or someting.Tried everything problem remains 

It connecta wifi again only turning the router off and on again.Devices (play1 and roam) are connected (they Play music on pushing physical button) but app is not (whether it is mobile app, mac, PC etc)any ideal? thx 

Hello,I have a Sonos/Sonance Indoor/Outdoor setup consisting of:Living Room - Sonance In-Ceiling Speakers + Sonos Arc Soundbar + Sonos Sub + Sonos Amp Kitchen - Sonance In-Ceiling Speakers + Sonos Amp Backyard - Sonance Garden Series 8.1 System w/ SR 2-125 AmpI have a Russound Speaker Selector and Sonos Port which allow me to combine all of the above to play the same audio in any combination (or different audio through different sources). We have an outdoor television which we would like the ability to run audio through the (SGA) Sonance Garden Series (even if we can’t tie it to the other Sonance In-Ceiling or Sonos Arc Soundbar), but have run into a number of issues. 1st off, utilizing the RCA connections and an adapter which shows on the Sonos app as a “Line-In” connection, the latency is unbearable (even after maxing out the adjustment on the TV), and when connecting it to the Sonos Port, there can only be one input connected at a time, making it impossible to toggle between the SGA

Hello, I just installed Sonos Outdoor speakers using my Denon Amp and cannot add the speakers in the sonos app. What am I doing wrong?

I ran apt-get update and upgrade on my Linux server 20.04 which  runs on a pi earlier in the week. Now my Sonos S1 system is denying access to the SMB shares on it. Does anyone know what changed? My smb.conf is unchanged so I am a bit confused by this.

Hey everyone,I recently purchased two ERA 100s, one for my bar and the other for my kitchen. However, I've been having some issues with them disappearing from the systems in the app. This has happened twice now, and it's quite frustrating given the price I paid for them. I can still use them through Alexa commands, but it's not ideal.I've already had to reconnect them twice, and I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue with the ERA 100s. For context, I have an ARC and Beam Gem and a Sub 3, all of which have been working perfectly fine.Has anyone else encountered this issue or knows of a potential fix? I'm hoping to get this resolved soon so that I can fully enjoy my new purchases.Thanks in advance for any help or advice you can offer!

How can I create a mix / songlist based on one song, with like songs, in Sonos. With Deezer, you can pick a song and create a mix based on it. How can I do this with Sonos (with Deezer as source)?

I have a Samsung Q 90 connected by Earc to my Sonos arc.. I have my hue play out connected to HDMI 2 on my TV. Cable box, Apple TV, and Xbox connected to hue play ports 1,2 and 4, respectively. These are the best instructions for set up I could find on the Internet… The picture comes up, but it flickers… it doesn’t seem like you can plug three different devices into one HDMI port on the TV. What if you have two of the devices on? How does tie TV know which one to go to? I think maybe that’s causing the problem. I  used a brand new 4K HDMI cable to connect the Hue Play device and TV. I had previously gone through a Marantz receiver, and it worked perfectly. Wanted to upgrade to Sonos thinking it would work better with new technology like hue lights.  Any ideas on what I’m doing wrong?Thanks! 

Hello everybody,I bought 4 One SL speakers at once. And I installed the latest version of the Sonos app.all speakers have been paired with the app, and they all have had the latest S2 update.unfortunately there is a troubleshooting or a bug, because I am unable to have all 4 of the speakers together in the app.  Some more info on my situation: they all are connected over WiFi on the same network.I tried also linking them all over the wired network.  I see the 4 speakers on my “airplay” mode, like for example if I want to listen to Spotify, I have all 4 of them in the list. And they play all 4 the Spotify music. But unfortunately not all at one.if I ask Spotify to play more than one speaker at the same time, I neer to select the option of opening a room with the S1 Sonos app. Seems to be the standard Spotify respons.so when I delete an re-instal the Sonos app, I can click on the infinity button to pair/link and it works properly. I’m running multiple Connect Amps. Music will cut out randomly. this occurs when using different music services including Amazon and tune-in. I typically pair two connect amps (dining room + kitchen). Occasionally it will cut out only in one (kitchen). I’m at a loss troubleshooting. diagnostic code from a recent occurrence ((Connect: Amp from my patio) 1183329370 Based on info I’ve found in the community, I have: 1. rebooted the equipment including modem, router and sonos2. changed the wireless channel from 6 to 1  

Hi, is there a way for me to easily switch between my sony neckband (when I do not want a Sound bar experience - late nights, early mornings) and the Sonos Arc?I have an older version of the sony neckband (SRS-WS1) and it currently plugs into my Sony TV’s A80CK optical out. I think I can switch the output on the TV to either the sound bar or the TV( which then works with the neckband), but the TV  always switch back to the sound bar.Short of unplunging the Arc, is there an easier way to switch between the two? -Andy

I have 2 Sonos Roam for use in both my home system and while traveling. I’m now on vacation and brought both Roam’s with me - in the home system they were working no problem. But now in my vacation location they refuse to power on. They’ve been charged overnight, during which time an orange LED appears at the base of the Roam. However that’s it. I’ve tried powering on normally, doing a hard reset etc but nothing seems to work. They’re both completely dead. The only function they seem to have is the orange LED when charging.  Basically extremely frustrated and hoping I can find some answers here! 

Hi… bought record player and Sonia move for daughters room. The device keeps connecting to another speaker built in device upstairs. Unless other device is turned off we can’t get record player to pair to device in daughters room next to Sonos move. Built in device upstairs has to have power turned off which requires a ladder and broom to reach power. Very annoying… any tips please 

I am wondering to build an immersive system if I can add 2-Era 300’s to a system that already has a Sonia Arc/Gen 3 sub with 2 rear channel surround speakers?  If I could do that to get true Dolby Atmos, what is the configuration of the room?Thanks!

I have a Sonos Arc/Sub 3/One SL system and they all came with EU power plugs. However here in Cyprus we have Type G power sockets (same as in UK). I would like to use power adaptors to connect, what ampere rating should I look for? Cyprus operates on a 230V supply voltage and 50Hz.

I have a Sonos Amp hooked up to (2) Polk Atrium 8 speakers. They are stereo speakers with 4 input for stereo sound out of each speaker. It’s good for outdoor since they are spaced far apart. They are 8 ohms. I am wondering if I can a 3rd speaker on the system. It would techinically be a 3rd speaker OR a 3rd stereo setup. There would be 3 wires on each terminal.  Will the amp be able to handle it?

Can anybody list any viable option to connect the beam gen 2 to a ps5 and monitor combo without earc because monitors do not have it.  I know vroom sells a 500 dollar audio extractor but there has to be another way?And how about using a usb c Bluetooth rtx adapter with apt x?  Would that allow the era 100 and 300 to connect to ps5?  Can anyone confirm this?Thank you for your replies

Since the Five has got an Aux in, can use a Bluetooth adopter through the line in to play it by Bluetooth?

I got Tmobile WIFI about a month or two ago. I’ve had an ORBI RBR50. I have a Sonos Playbar, Move, and two Ones. I cannot for the life of me get them to stay connected. One or two will randomly connect, then disconnect, but they’ve never all connected at the same time since I got Tmobile. I have spent hours reading on the forums, calling Tmobile (who says to call Sonos), and back and forth. I’ve reset everything, tried hardwiring. Tried connected via SonosNet (which usually shows up grayed out). I’m only slightly techically savvy, so I really need help, otherwise my whole Sonos system is an expensive set of paperweights. Is there something I’m missing?

Hello, Similar to a lot of people I’ve been having trouble getting Dolby Atmos to work on an LG TV native app, specifically an OLED55G16LA TV.  It does work on the limited Amazon Prime content so not sure what the issue is but sounds like a software or setting issue rather than hardware. And I do have a premium ultra HD Netflix account. I’ve got an Arc linked to two Era 300s and a sub gen 2.  eARC is selected in the sound menus, and I have tried either ‘auto’ or ‘passthrough’ as suggested in some of the other threads.  Dolby Atmos in the menus I believe should be greyed out as that is for when using the TV internal speakers only. The solution suggested else where of unplugging the HDMI, re-plugging and selecting eARC makes to difference.  There are two options I’ve not seen mentioned inn other models ’TV sound mode share’ or ‘sound bar mode control’ but switching these on or off doesn't make a difference. At best I’ve improved the output from checking the app audio currently playing fr

I’ve asked this before but did not get anywhere…This problem used to NOT be a problem. Everything worked as expected.  This problem just started recently and there were no equipment changes.I have 2 Sonos SL One’s and 1 Roam.  All 3 are grouped.  When I use Alexa and tell her to play a Sirius channel on the group,  it works. All 3 speakers work fine.When I use an iPhone with iOs 16.4 and select AirPlay for playing track, I get a list that shows the phone and the 3 speakers (but not the group). I used to be able to select each of the 3 speakers, they would connect and start playing.  Now, I can select all 3 but only 2 connect. I get a message saying it cannot connect to the other speaker. I’m upgrading to iOs 16.5 but don’t expect any change. Again, this all used to work fine but not now.??????Thanks,Dave
