HiAfter I finish playing one of my playlists in the sonos app, whether I pause it or clear the play list it continues to play, I can't hear it but the time line on the track is active and it doesn't matter how many times I clear the playlist it just regenerates and starts againRegardsAndy

Hi All, Tried to update the Era100 that i recently purchased.I get an Error 30 just seconds before finishing upI also tried to reset the speaker, but again, i get the same error during the setup processThe update was attempted from an iphone 14 and from a laptop as well My Sonos setup includes1 playbar,1 arc,2 sonos 11 play 31 play 51 sonos 51 roam1 ray My network setup is a Ubiquiti setup with UDM pro SE,3 access points all previous setups/updates with the rest of the equipment were successful so far Any ideas on how to update it successfully?

HelloLast week I received a brand new subwoofer gen3. I noticed though that on the right driver there is an approximately 0.5” excessive glue between the cone and the suspension. Looks like stitches or leakage from the attachment procedure. Is that an imperfection that can compromise the sound quality now or in the future?Thanks 

I’m wiring 5 Amps into a new construction home that does not currently have wifi, but the amp will be hardwired to the speakers. Can I set-up the Amp via bluetooth, or do I need to have wifi? In a pinch I can connect to an iphone hotspot. 

Had my Sonos move wireless for 10 months and in the last few weeks it’s started cutting out frequently during songs. I use Spotify and through the Amazon Alexa connection. Also found it always cuts out for the timer alarm

Had my Sonos move 10 months and in the last few weeks it’s started cutting out, every 30 seconds during sounds it cuts out for 4/5 seconds and the. Always cuts out when the timer goes. Any solutions?

I am planning to add a phono to my sound system setup. I currently have a port connected (Digital Out) to an external Analog-to-Digital Converter which then runs to my stereo preamp, then amplifiers, then speakers (of course). In this way, I am avoiding the Port A-to-D, and using my supposedly better fidelity off-board converter. If I were to connect a phono to the port, I assume I would connect to the line in. I have a few questions: I assume the RCAs labeled “Out” on the port are analog outputs? Do I connect the phono pre-amp before the “In” RCAs, or after the “Out” RCAs? I read before the “In” is correct, but does it matter? Would the phono signal be available at the output RCAs, as well as the digital out?  Would the output RCAs have been digitized/un-digitized, or would it just be pass-through? In other words, would the line-in source be passed to the “Out” RCAs without going through a A-to-D and then an D-to-A?Obviously, I could just route phono to phono pre-amp, then to stereo p

I find it kind of annoying that the Sonos ios app (using on an iPhone 12, latest update) won’t stay open -- that if you haven’t used it in a bit, it will act as if it’s been closed, causing it to re-find and refresh all of the zones. Does anybody else have this issue? Is there a setting I can change to have it stay open in the background? I have the background refresh turned on in the app settings… couldn’t find anything else that might indicate a setting that could be changed.

New issue popping up out of nowhere after many months of seamless play. I have Arc+two Era300+sub mini hooked via eARC to REI switcher which also houses the AppleTV+ epson projector. Formerly, I could play anything on AppleTV with ease and would control volume thru Sonos app and if I felt listening to music (also via Sonos app) I could change to that at any time. Now, music plays fine thru Sonos app but anytime I crank up the projector with AppleTV --it’s silent OR it makes this very quick squeeeek type of noise instead of the clicking while navigating thru app icons on the AppleTV menu. And if I click on any show (Netflix, D+ etc) it’s silent. The only workaround has been airplay and changing “audio output” settings to “temporary audio output” and selecting the Sonos “media room” designation - but that’s via airplay and not thru the Receiver speaker/REI/atmos setup. Any ideas on how to fix this weirdness?   (the only workaround so far is unplugging and re-plugging the REI unit...which

Has anyone experience their system while in sleep mode come on and emit a extremely loud warbling rhythmic sound?

My Play 1s work fine paired together and the sub-mini works paired to them, however once I pair the Beam 2 they stop and sound only comes out of the Beam 2. True-lay doesn’t work because it says speakers cannot be heard. 

I just bought my whole Sonos sound system a few months ago when the era 300s launched! About a month ago the system started randomly disconnecting and reconnecting to my TV in the middle of watching things. The sound will just randomly cut out, the light on my Arc and Sub will turn white, and then 45 seconds later the lights will turn green and it will reconnect. The system is connected via eARC to my TV, and my wifi is not going out. I have tried everything at this point… turned the router on and then off, powered off the arc/sub/my 2 era 300 surrounds to try and recconnect, and changed the HDMI cable. I’m not sure how to fix this issue! 

I installed an ARC with 2 OneSL speakers on my DirecTV satellite system a few years ago with no issues.  I had to replace my internet home gateway and DirecTV set top box just recently due to a bad electrical storm in the area.DirecTV sent a technician out after I replaced the fiber gateway to replace my set top.  The video works fine, buy I cannot properly reconnect my Sonos system after running through the DirecTV remote set up menus.  I’ve made several attempts, and had their technical support on the line during these attempts.The ARC is not listed on DirecTV’s audio set up menu list, and I’ve tried all other choices with no luck.  Any help this forum can offer will be greatly appreciated!

How do I get rid of old and outdated Sonos products?  Ideas please?

Hey guys, I have an Arc, sub and 2 x One SL's setup in my media room. Am i able to add my Move to this system so i can take the move outside and listen to whatever is playing?

Sonos support have just advised me that I need a Sonos Boost, because my two Sonos 1s (stero pair) only work on Spotify if one of them is wired into the router.Is a powerline network an alternative, so I can wire one of the speakers into the network in the room where I want them?Lordwanswell

I have two first generation sonos 5s setup right and left.   They are part of my system of about 6 other sonos devices.  I’ve experienced them randomly turning on in the night and while on vacation.  They blast at maximum volume the last played station.  In addition, while listening, I’ve had the volume mysteriously turn itself down.  Lastly, I’ve heard loud deep sporadic beeping recently as if it was being programmed.  At first, I thought perhaps a lizard or small creature, as we have here in the tropics, was running over the controls and activating it.  I fashioned covers to prevent this possibility, and the issue persists.  I’ve unplugged and plugged in the speakers to reset.  I just don’t get it.  It feels like someone has hacked my system and screwing with me.  My wife and I are the only ones with app access.  Is anyone having a similar experience?  This system was a large investment and it is starting to get on my neighbor and my nerves.Thanks for your thoughts and help!

I have a projector in the TV room I currently send audio to a BT speaker via a transmitter directly to the speaker. I have a pair of SONOS play 5's, which do not have BT. Is it possible to send the audio signal through the BT transmitter to the SONOS with a BT receiver or something better? Thanks for the help.

Hello everyone, I’m desperate, I have no sound at all coming from my Beam 2, the sound is coming from the projector only. Here is my setup:Amazon Firestick 4k Max [The Player] EPSON TW7100 [The Projector] Sonos Beam Gen 2 [The Sound System] Feintech VAX04101 [The HDMI eArc Pass Switch] On the HDMI 1 port of my projector : Amazon Firestick 4k MaxOn the HDMI 2 port of my projector : Feintech VAX04101  On my projector screen, when I put the source HDMI 2, I have pictures from Sonos (see picture 1) On my projector settings, the “Audio Out Device” is on “AV System” and in “Device Connections” we can see “AV System : Sonos Beam : HDMI2” (pictures 2 and 3) On the FeinTech VAX04101, everything seems okay (picture 4), “HDMI OUT (ARC) TO TV” port connected to my projector HDMI 1 port and “1 ARC TO SOUND” port connected to Beam. How to add a streaming url station to my Sonos radio app 

Hi All, I’m resurrecting this question which was asked three years ago as it’s suddenly started happening after years of stability. Problem Description:Streaming via Alexa to Sonos. Command “Alexa Skip” is registered by Amazon but the command is not executed on Sonos. At this point the system is pretty much in auto mode. It can be stopped and the volume can be changed but that’s about it. Any streaming content has to be stopped before I can switch to a different channel / playlist from Amazon. Album art is not shown on Sonos app. “Next track” is greyed out on Sonos app. Typically, this happens from the second track onward. Configuration:Stereo pair of Sonos 1 speakers linked with a Sonos Roam. Running the most recent version of firmware. Connectivity is via WiFi on a very stable network with strong signal strength. WAN is bidirectional gigabit. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I have a TV with a Sonos beam attached.I also have a Sonos Move, a Sonos Rome and 4 Sonos Amps outputting to speakers throughout my house and pool area.  If I play music through the beam and group other speakers, everything works GREAT.   No issues whatsoever.  If I put the source on my SmartTV to Youtube and play videos and only play the beam, no issues whatsoever.  However, when i group the other speakers (Move, Roam and Amps), I get audio skipping.  I have seen this topic many times but I haven’t found a solution.   My connection is great.  I have fast and strong internet.  I have also tried new cables, switching TV’s, connecting the TV and Beam via ethernet and have placed calls to support with no luck.Unless I get a good solution, my next step will be to put another amp and connect my TV and a non-sonos soundbar to the Amp and see if that works.This is really frustrating.  I have a significant investment in Sonos products and I don’t think what I am trying to do is unreasonable.

I’ve seen a few posts about leaving a Move on it’s charger, and I understand that will not harm the battery.  I’m curious if that is in a powered off or sleep state, or in an on state, and if that makes a difference.I ask because if I’m going to leave it on the charger full time, I’d be inclined to leave it on to be used full time as well.I also have a Roam, but never considered this issue.  Is its battery also safe in the same way as the Move? Thanks,BR

Is this normal/expected behavior? When I add or remove a room to music currently playing via Spotify connect, the music stops everywhere. This happens when I add/remove rooms thru the Sonos iPhone app (S2), or if I am just walking into a room and I do a long press on the speaker’s play button to add that room to what is currently playing. Its very annoying. Has anyone else had this experience and discovered a solution?

Hi all, symple question here: can I pairing one Sonos Play:5 gen2 and one Sonos Five, to form a couple of surrounfld speakers or a couple of a stereo speakers? Are they compatible?Thank you very much.
