If I try to play a short .wav file, ie less than 45 KB, the speaker crashes and disconnects from the network.Anything above 50 KB or so seems to work. This is happening with all types of speakers including Play:5, Five, Play:1 and Amp.This is something new but I’m not sure exactly when the trouble started.  I am currently on 15.2.1Has anyone else noticed this?

I am considering purchasing a Sonos amp to use as the amplifier for my turntable. The main reason I have chosen the Sonos Amp is because I want to be able to use my existing passive speakers in my record room, and also be able to send the turntable output to all of my other Sonos products throughout the house. My existing passive speakers are 8om 150/600W. The Sonos Amp is rated at 125W. Will there be an issue using the 125 W amp with my 150/600W speakers?

I have a new pair of Sonos five’s that I will be using in a large kitchen with vaulted ceiling. I was originally going to go with in wall speakers with a sonos amp, but I promised my wife I’d try not to cut the walls if possible. The only good place to put them is on top of the kitchen cabinets on either side of the stove. I’m assuming a vertical placement would be best for stereo imaging. My other decision is whether to use the flexson wall mounts to angle them down a bit or to simply mount them on top of the cabinets facing forward. Does it matter or can the built in room correction fix it? I have an old play:5 up there to see how it will work and it sounds OK, but a bit muddy.

I’m using an ARC and 2 Era 300 in my 15’x16’ bedroom.  I like watching TV to fall asleep to, so usually the volume is pretty low, although there are times that I watch at normal volume.  I’ve kinda noticed at low volume, the sound from the ARC has lost it’s fullness since adding the 2 Era300s.  Do I need to add a sub to regain the some fullness from the ARC?  If so, will the Mini be sufficient?

I just added an ADU to my house and want to have two separate sonos systems on one WIFI. One for the main house and one for the ADU. Ive tried to add another system but its not working. Can someone give me the step by step to add another system with different speakers? Would really appreciate it thanks

I have a sonos connect:Amp that recently just started lowering the volume by itself! it was working normally until today! I did submit a diagnostic report and the diagnostic number is 1869534414i have restarted the sonos and restarted my phone! i have 2 other connect amp and only one of them is having this problem!

Is the Mounting Hole / Screw - Strong enough to hold the unit upside-down?I’m looking to create a DIY bracket and this M5 14mm screw would be the unique mounting point, holding the unit upside-down giving uses access to the touch panel from below.Any longevity impacts of using them in this orientation.I read that the 300’s have accelerometers to detect the orientation, so that unit would seemingly not have any but I’ve not read anything on the 100’s.NB.I’m disregarding any acoustic or tuning limitations (ie: Software) as my basic testing seems to not overly affect performance.

When starting a new session on our Sonos system, the first 30 seconds are a chaotic experience of frantically trying to turn down the volume across all speakers. If a song is selected and started on a normal level, the volume quickly climbs to extremely high levels across all speakers. Using the app to try to turn them down, I can watch the volume crank back up as if it’s possessed. This circus continues for about half a minute until it finally settles down and accepts the volume selected in the app.Is there anything I can do to stop my system from doing this?We are using two Play:3 and two Play:1 speakers.

I was wondering if anyone has been able to A/B test the following two setups, and can recommend one over the other - intended for music listening. Two Sonos Era 300’s (stereo pair) + mini subORTwo FIVES (stereo pair) I know the Fives have much stronger low end, but I’m wondering if the sound stage of the era 300’s plus a sub mini would create something even better?

Is there a way to get the Sonos app to do volume leveling with my music library. Right now I have to constantly adjust the volume on different songs.

Hello, it is my understanding that this Sonos arc can be hardwired along with a Sonos amp, and then ceiling speakers for the rear. As long as everything is hardwired, is there an issue? I know if the arc and amp or wireless they have to be within 20 feet of each other?

Has anyone been able to get TuneIn (New) to work on their Sonos system? I have registered for the new app and rebooted my system, but it still doesn’t work. This is incredibly frustrating. We listen to local radio streamed through our Sonos for about two-thirds of the day. If anyone has any suggestions about how to listen to terrestrial radio, I would appreciate it. For now, I guess we’ll be streaming through directly through the stations’ web apps.

Good day! We just bought an Era 100 for our seasonal porch, but we’d like to add the option of running our old (circa late 1990’s/early 2000’s) 5-CD player, which is inside our house, through the system. What does the architecture look like? What hardware do we need? Thanks.

I have an LG C1 with an Earc port. I have all setting set up how google searches say.Game sounds are not playing properly apart from in dolby digital.Example the witcher 3 i have 100s of hours on multiple platforms played i know how the game is ment to sound. With the beam 2 using 5.1 uncompressed all the ambient sounds are very hard to hear this is the same in atmos to.I even sent the beam 2 in for replacement. They sent me a new 1 same problem. Please understand I am not talking about sound quality the beam sounds great using lg tv apps but games other than in dolby digital sound dead.Atmospheric sounds like weather effects rain etc and the wind the hussle and bussle are almost inaudible.Tried Cyberpunk 2077 night city in any setting other than DD sounds empty you can hear cars driving and honking and music not much else even on a crowded street.Hogwarts legacy the great hall filled with students you can hardly hear it unless its on DD but the problem with DD is its compressed and not

Hello everyone, I’ve recently bought an Arc and I couldn’t wait to add it to my system to replace my Beam Gen 2 which is currently paired to my Sub Gen 3 and a pair of Ones as surrounds which will be soon replaced by a pair of Era 300. My Beam and Sub are connected to the router (a 5 port hub actually) by ethernet while my Ones on Wi-Fi and everything works fine, I even have a pair of SYMFONISK in my bedroom connected on Wi-Fi. I’ve spent an entire evening trying to connect the Arc to my system but I couldn’t get it to work, I’ve tried everyting in my knowledge but nothing happened: tried several times to factory reset the Arc, tried to reboot the router, tried to connect on Wi-Fi and then by ethernet but nothing changes: I always get this type of errors (I translate from italian so I don’t know if the translation is accurate with the actual message with the app set to english):  Connection to Sonos Arc was interrupted. Get your mobile device closer and make sure Sonos Arc is switched

Hello. The sound of my beam gen 2 with sub mini became quieter and got worse in overall quality after 15.5 version update. The sub mini looks like it got less powerful too. Did it happen to anyone else? I tried trueplay again and reset to factory settings but it didnt help.

I’m not able to connect Google Assistant to my Sonos Five and Sub (3rd gen).  Per the instructions, I’ve linked my music (Spotify) to both Sonos and Google.  I also confirmed the Five supports Assistant The instruction page from Sonos shows clicking on Assistant in the Sonos app and then it opening Assistant to complete the setup.  Instead of the GA setup page, I get a “Set up Google Assistant” help page which tells me to go to the Assistant App to connect it When I go to the Google Assistant app and link or reconnect my Sonos account, it connects successfully.   I can cast to my Sonos but GA doesn’t recognize it as a device I can add When I go to the “Devices” section in Assistant and Home, it only shows the Google devices and Assistant eligible and doesn’t show the Sonos.  I get the exact same process on both iPhone and Pixel 7 ProI called Sonos to help and the rep said “It’s a Google problem so call them” which is less than helpful answer.  Anyone have a solution to this?

Is it Spotify or is it SONOS that determines what feeds/categories/sections are available within the Spotify service when it is connected on the SONOS controller?  I want to know who I should speak with because “DAILY MIXES” are no longer available to me via the SONOS controller, and some of the categories are using Spanish titles.  e.g  “Eschuchado receientemente”.

Hi Guys I have 56 albums saved to My Sonos... I can't add anymore. Why is there a limit to the number of albums stored in My Sonos? 56 isn't very many... Is there a plan to extend the available slots? Best wishes Phil

Dear people from sonos,I have a sonos beam (gen 2) and I'm very happy with it. I have a issue with the voice commands lately and would like to solve this problem. If I ask ‘hey google, play ….. on spotify’ it says: '’Oke, I will play the playlist of ….. on spotify’ and then nothing happens. I already put the sonos bar off and on again, I reauthorised and reinstalled the spotify app in the sonos app en the google home app but now i'm running out of options. could you please help me? If i ask other things, like google search, it works. So it really is the connection with spotify I think. Hope to hear from you.kind regards,Mathijs

Hello,  Just bought the arc and sub3. I come from a standalone reciever where when using the microphone the bass level, speaker level where adjusted along with how many meters there were from listening position to the sub and to the speakers. It also adjusted how low (hz) the speakers should play and when the sub were to take over (hz).  is this also what trueplay does?  is it normal that after running trueplay the EQ settings is set to “0” as before running Trueplay? if I turn of my sub and leave trueplay on, will my arc then play a lower bass as it “thinks” the sub is playing? If i turn off my sub do I then need to turn off Trueplay so that the arc will play more bass?I can’t seem to understand that people are satisfied with the bass level on the arc alone. I think it is almost non-existing. With the sub however the system kicks ass.Thanks.
