I am experiencing an ongoing issue that has now persisted for over a year. One of the primary reasons we invested in the Sonos system was its ability to set alarms to play specific playlists — a feature we used daily. For the past year, however, the alarm function has been essentially unusable. Here are the consistent issues we experience:I cannot set alarms from my phone at all. My husband can set alarms from his phone, but only with the chime sound — no playlists will play. No matter what we try, the playlist option simply does not work.I have:Contacted your support team multiple times via phone and chat. Been told repeatedly that the issue “needs to be escalated” — but without receiving any follow-up or resolution. Double-checked every possible setting and update on our end.I would like a direct and specific response on:What is causing this issue? Whether Sonos intends to fix it — and if so, the expected timeline. 

Multidecade sonos owner.  I've seen tunein stations come and go.  I've had issues playing certain stations on S1 because it didn't support the stations bitrate (radio dismuke) but was fine on S2.I've a problem with a specific tunein station called “radio synthpop”.  It queues, it plays TuneIn ads, it shows the song playing, the song playing updates when the next song starts -- but not one hint of audio.  I can play it through a browser no problem.Can someone do me a favor and see if you can reproduce this by loading this station?I can't post the image of it (sigh) but it's purple, green, and white.  SynthPOP RADIO “Tu Defecto... I have recently purchased a Beam Gen2 and a couple of Era 100s. My existing system is S1 so I need to upgrade if I want them to all play happily together. This I am failing to do. I have removed my 2 s1 only Connects but when i run the s2 Update it finds the system but is unable to update it.If I run the S1 app it tells me to check for updates, when i do this it takes me to the play store S2 App entry. The “system compatibility check” option is greyed out. If I run s2 it will find my s1 system but says it cannot update the system.I have been in touch with Sonos Support - the upshot of which was the 2nd line guy wanted me to reset my s2 components and add them one by one. This of course will result in me losing all my playlists. - which the Support guy said was the normal update approach.Help!

Hi, I’ve recently upgraded my soundbar from Beam 2 to the Arc Ultra and I’m finding, when watching movies that the soundtrack element is very low in the mix.  I have the Arc Ultra paired with two Era 300s and a Sub Mini but I seem to be getting very high levels for sound effects and very low volume levels for the music score.Is there anything I can adjust to beef up the music?

I recently purchased Sonos Arc UltraSub 4Era 100While I am happy with the sound quality a few things annoy me.I play from my NAS..Why the limit of The limit of 65000 tracks?I have several apps that cost a few bucks that can cope with my entire library of approx 180000 tracks.I find this limit pretty stupid. Hopefully this will be addressed.Also there does not seem to be any option to power down any of the Sonos gear even when the TV is powered down..Only option is to switch it off at the power point as far as I can tell.(unless I’ve missed something).My old Sony soundbar had no such issue.

I currently have a Sonus Arc and Sub Gen3. At some point I am going to add my turntable using a Sonus Port. Before that I want to add surround sound by adding 2 x ERA 100’s on dedicated stands.My lounge room is  6.5mtrs x 3.5mtrs. My TV is wall mounted midway on the long side of the room, with the Sonus Arc mounted onto the base of TV wall bracket . My settee/listening point is opposite to the TV -so about 3mtr away from the soundbar. The Sub Gen3 is in the corner of the room to the right of the TV.Due to the layout of the room, the ERA 100’s can only be placed either side of the setee, either wall mounted or on stands. So one speaker will be no more than half a meter away from my head when sitting on the setee and the same for the person sitting next to me.I have two questions;1) Will I be able to use the ERA 100’s as surround speakers and as speakers when listening to music over Spotify? If not, what would I need to do to get the 100’s to work with Spotify2) With the speakers being s

I just want to confirm there is no way to use a Sonos connect with a STR-DH190 to play records without the annoying delay. There needs to be a way to keep the integrated Phono amp operating at the same time you have it set the amp set to input 4 as far as I can tell. Not a total dealbreaker. Just checking. 

I am planning to change my setup on the Sony Bravia A80J. Currently, I have signal issues, likely caused by the Hue Sync Box, so I want to remove that and connect my consoles directly to the TV.The problem is that the TV only has two HDMI 2.1 (120Hz) ports:HDMI 3 (eARC) - Currently used by the Sonos Beam Gen 2.HDMI 4 - Currently used by the Hue Sync Box.I need both of these ports for my gaming consoles to get 120Hz. To make this work, I am looking for a specific HDMI switch that has an eARC extractor/pass-through function.My goal is to plug the Sonos Beam into this switch rather than directly into the TV's HDMI 3 port, effectively freeing up that port for a console while still getting audio. I don't mind losing full Dolby Atmos support; standard Dolby is fine, as long as I can still control the volume with my TV remote.Could you let me know if there is a switch that allows this specific configuration?

Good day,I have two Sonos Era 100. They both work fine individually when i connected them to my computer via bluetooth. However, when i paired them up as a stereo pair, the speaker that isn't connect to the PC keeps breaking up, and the one that is connected works perfectly. Same thing happens when i connect my Samsung phone to the stereo pair. I have also tried connecting Bluetooth to the other speaker and the problem persist in a reverse manner. The breaking is extremely frequent, about half or one full second every ten seconds. When i off the wifi the breaking is way worst.The two speakers are on either side of my 27 inch monitor and the computer is on the left side under the table. Bluetooth from the computer is a Bluetooth 5.0 dongle from TP Link. Mesh router is about 5.5meters (18 feet)  unblocked from my PC.I have no issues when streaming spotify from my phone.I have tried all of solutions i can find on the web, including power cycling on the speakers, unpair/re-pair stereo pair

Hi all, My Sonos Arc + 2 x Era 100 are set up as my home theater in the living room and connected to the TV via HDMI. In the Alexa App i have a group for the living room containing two lights. Whenever I use the phrase “Turn on the light in the living room” or similar, both via voice and routine, the TV and PS5 are turned on or off with the system. I’ve found other threads on this topic and have tried the following already: Unplugging the Arc and TV from power for a couple of minutes, disabling and re-enabling the Sonos skill in the Alexa app, and disabling and re-enabling Alexa on the Arc. When re-adding the Sonos Skill in the Alexa app, the TV is discovered as a device via Sonos. There is the option to disable the device or remove it completely. I’ve tried both options without luck - the TV still turns on/off. I’ve also tried removing the speaker from the group “Living room”, still the same. This problem is somewhat new, we’ve used this setup for years with no such problem. Any tips

Hi! My parents have given me their old Sonos playbase. I have the new Philips ambilight 4K TV which does not have the optical input. We bought an optical to HDMI adaptor and I have set up the playbase on the app, connected to the TV, changed settings on the TV so the audio should be coming out via HDMI but it is still coming out of the TV. When I press the volume the light flashes on the Sonos so it is all connected but just won’t play out of there. any advice? Thanks all!

Hi,Yesterday all the audio disappeared when watching tv and when using Spotify. I have only managed to get the Play:5 (Gen 1) to work, although the volume is modest and choppy. I have rebooted devices, etc. for hours now, but nothing has worked. Wifi connection is very ok so it connects to Sonos normally and I can see it plays the devices but the sounds are missing.i have moved many times and have always managed to install our old Sonos system. Never had a problem in years but my surround sound stopped working  Using playbar with two play:1 speakers done factory reset on all devices. can see the speakers individually in the app when not linked as surround sound but as soon as I add them as surround sound the two play:1 speakers disappear and say not connected in the app.  

I recently changed my WiFi provider annd hadn’t used my speaker for a month or so. I am now unable to update my Sonos Play 3, it won’t find the new WiFi system. Can anyone help?

Hi everyone,I’m running into a volume balancing issue with my Sonos setup and I’m hoping for some guidance.Setup: Google TV / Google Streamer TV → Sonos Ray via optical Projector → Sonos Arc via HDMI eARC In both cases, I control the volume using the Google TV remote, which is correctly linked to the Sonos soundbar.The issue is that Google TV’s volume is already at maximum, so I have to increase the volume further in the Sonos app to get the TV sound loud enough. This works fine for TV and movies.However, this causes a problem when I start playing music or radio directly from Sonos (Spotify, radio streams, etc.). The volume is then much too loud, and I often have to quickly lower it to avoid being startled. This is especially annoying when grouping rooms (for example, when music is already playing in another room and I add a room with a soundbar).I’ve tested Volume Limit in the Sonos app, but that only makes the TV audio even quieter, which is the opposite of what I want. We have 4 Sonos amps connected to Bose in ceiling speakers that play in 4 different rooms. The Sonos amps are located in a cupboard upstairs. The TV is downstairs and is connected to a Beam. We also have a spare Sonos amp which we have still sitting in its box and 2 Sonos One SL speakers. I would like to add a turntable. How do I do this please.Just connect the spare amp to the existing Sonos system and use line in to connect the turntable?

I have had my system for around 5 years. It has worked really well, especially loved when Sonos was linked with Calm. Recently, the SL in my office skips a beat every 10 or so seconds. I have only tested it in the following situation.I have the tv on in another room, I turn on the speaker in my office to play what is on the tv. The Beam and SL are connected to the same network (5G) and the router is approximately 10 metres away (same room as TV). Beam plays sound from the TV flawlessly. The office speaker skips a beat.I have turned off, unplugged, disconnected and reconnected the speaker. I have removed network and readded network. The whole house is nbn to the house.My fear is the system is getting old now but I also don't want that to be the solution. Does anyone have any ideas or more troubleshooting tips?

Whatever I do, I seem to get random surround speaker dropouts.These last a few seconds, occurring maybe every few minutes - whether I’m on TV audio or Sonos Sound System Radio which I assume rules out any TV related issues.I’m running an Arc Ultra with a Gen 3 sub and two Ones for surround. The TV Is a 5 year old LG.  Having started with a totally wireless setup, I’m currently trying the Ultra, the sub and the TV hardwired to the router, which is only about 3-4 metres from the Ones. All software is showing as updated. And I’ve lost count of the reboots performed.So, what can I try next?  Is it somehow an unresolved wifi issue between the Arc and the others, or could it be a gremlin in the actual Ultra, or…?I’m stumped, frustrated and right out of ideas! Can I sync a Bluetooth turntable to an Era100 speaker?

Good afternoon all I have a Project Debut Carbon connected through a preamp to a Connect line inEvery 5 seconds or so, the music skips, same time elapses each skipI have tried another brand new turntable and it does the same thingThis must be a Sonos think, but it only happens when using ther line in sourceDoes anybody have any ideas as to what I am doing wrong? 

I want to create a 5.1 surround setup. I have a Sonos Arc Ultra, a Sonos Sub (Gen 4), and a Sonos Amp with two ceiling speakers. When I play regular music, all speakers work fine. However, when I watch a Netflix movie with Dolby Atmos or a YouTube video with surround sound, the ceiling speakers don’t do anything. Only The sub and arc ultra works. What am I doing wrong? Or is this setup simply not possible?

Hi there,I’m running a stereo pair of Era 100s and running into a bit of a networking mystery. I’m hoping to get some clarity on why the speakers seem to prioritize 5GHz so aggressively, even when I don't want them to.Here is what I’ve experienced: * Originally, I had both units on 5GHz band. * I decided to switch to 2.4GHz, so I connected my phone to the 2.4GHz network and factory reset one speaker. After setup, it ended up on 5GHz again, not matching my phone's network band. * I then completely disabled 5GHz on my WiFi router, reset the speaker, and finally got it set up on 2.4GHz. But as soon as I turned the router's 5GHz band back on, the Era 100 immediately migrated back to 5GHz on its own.Is this intended behavior? It seems like the speaker is forcing a 5GHz connection regardless of my initial setup method. Any explanation would be appreciated.Thanks,

I have a bought a brand new Sonos move 2. When I opened it straight from the box and put it on charging for 2-3 days, (tried both the ways I.e. on the stand charging and charging with type C cable) I ensured that it was sufficiently charged, as at that time it was showing white and some times the orange/red light. Then in order to start my Sonos speaker and complete the setup I downloaded and logged in the Sonos app. Then via the app I connected my speaker with WiFi and initiated the system reset/software update for the speaker to start. After 5-10 mins when the entire process got completed, instead of receiving the notification of completion I received an error message on the app. Then from that point my Sonos move 2 speaker is not getting on or even showing any light of sign on life. I have tried all combinations of pressing the power button, Bluetooth button and putting in on and off charging, but I have not seen any light.
