Sometimes I just want Sonos to play random songs from my Apple playlist ‘Songs’ list rather than having to select playlist I’ve created. I tried adding the Songs list to my queue and to my sources but Sonos just runs the list saying the track isn’t available. I have to shut Sonos down completely to stop the loop. Is there a way to get Sonos to play my songs, I have a large number, randomly?

On the S1 app if you hadn’t played music in a while from the iOS app - and you went to play music it would ask you where you wanted to play the music.  It was a setting in the S1 app called “Confirm Location”.  Is this no longer available on the S2 / new Sonos app.  Was this feature removed, or is there a way to activate it?

I normally use the new Sonos App (Android) on either my Google Pixel 8 phone or my Apple iPad to control my system.  Over the last 2 weeks I have found that 25% of the time when I open the new Sonos App I get a message saying no products found? I also have an 8 year old iPad that still runs the old Sonos S2 App.  It can always find my Sonos speakers and control them. I suspect the new Sonos App is trying to log into the Sonos Cloud system to get some information for my account and when it doesn’t get what it needs, it defaults to displaying no products found.   Has anyone else experienced this and how did you resolve it? Thanks very much Dave

Just setting up my first Sonos, Comes up with error 913, cant find a solution

I use my Sonos speaker in my bedroom for white noise at night. I have a certain sound on repeat and the sound is an hour long. Every once in a blue moon at at a random time at night the Sonos speaker will start playing a random song and wake me out of my sleep instead of just continuing the playback on repeat

When watching movies and tv, I have my Sonos setup so my two Sonos One SLs are used as surrounds. For music, I prefer to have them on full/stereo. When toggling the option in the app between ambient and full for music playback, there is no difference.I used to have the Playbar with this setup and this feature worked perfectly. I just recently upgraded to the Arc Ultra and the Sub 4. Since resetting my system with this new setup and have the Arc Ultra, Sub 4 and 2 One SLs, this feature seems to not work any longer. Is this most likely just a glitch in the app or something? I’m about to reset my whole system again and just try to setup from scratch to see if it solves it, but was curious if anyone else ran into this same issue. 

Hello everyone,I would like to buy a Ray and a Roam 2 to:connect Ray on my TV, to watch movies and enhance tv audio have a Roam 2 AND the Ray connected to play music in sync, having the Roam 2 in another room, playing music from my Android phone (Sonos app)is this scenario possible? Or having the Ray connected to the TV only enable it to play music fro mthe TV?Moreover, if the previous scenario would be possible, can I add eventually a Era 100 to play music, in sync, also to it in addition to Ray and Roam 2 (3 devices simultaneously). Thanks!!

Hello all – I have the Arc Ultra set up through my LG Oled55B6P HDMI ARC port. I have an odd issue where every time my TV turns off, if it is not on the ARC HDMI port the Ultra is connected to, the Ultra gets disconnected. The only way to get the Ultra to work again is to switch the HDMI port back to the ARC HDMI channel. For instance, if I turn on my TV after previously playing PS5 through HDMI port 3, it will not have any sound until I switch temporarily back to the ARC HDMI port (2). Then I go back to the PS5 and it works fine. Also if I then switch to another HDMI port while the TV is on after the Ultra is already connected, it also works fine (e.g. after playing PS5 I switch to the Chromecast HDMI channel (1) ). I’ve tried turning off CEC and that doesn’t work. Would appreciate any suggestions or fixes. Perhaps it’s an issue with the Arc Ultra not waking up? Thanks  

My son just got a JBL Spinner Turntable in his room. I have set up a new router and my Sonos arc will not connect via Wi-Fi it is impractical for me to use an ethernet cable I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app done a factory reset on the arc rebooted the router and it was still not connect.  

Since yesterday!?, the alexa voice assistant on the sonos device is louder.Even with the sonos volume set to 1, alexa announces loudly.The music volume can be changed as before from the app or alexa.This has occurred on several of my sonos devices and not on the amazon device.Also, this event is not cured by unlinking or signing out/in between sonos and amazon.Is there a solution?Am I the only one experiencing this?

My current problem is that on my iPhone I only can access some of some of my speakers and it seems different based on where I am in the house/which mesh node my phone is connected to. To further investigate this problem I've been experimenting with the webapp on my hardwired iMac and with that I can play music on every speaker but only certain speakers can be grouped together.Before I jump into some details about the issues I'll give you a full picture of my current network setup. Here’s an image of my current setup: Some notable things are that I've added a wired TP Link TL-R605 router into the setup to allow me to set my Deco mesh system to bridge mode ("acces point mode" per the Deco app).  This was necessary as my Nokia ONT has no routing capabilities, for reference my internet provider is Ziply Fiber and they provided the Nokia ONT.  After that you can see my full network map, the solid lines are CAT6 ethernet runs and the dashed lines are wireless connections.In my router setting

I have a home theater setting with front in wall speakers powered by a sonos amp and rear ceiling speakers powered by a second sonos amp.  I also have a Definitive Technologies in wall subwoofer powered by a Definitive Technologies SubAmp 600 getting it’s signal from the Sonos Amp.  The SubAmp 600 has knobs to control volume, crossover frequency, and phase.  The Sonos app has controls to control volume, crossover frequency, and phase.  My question is, which one of these should I be use to set these parameters?  What should the other one be set at it?  

Hello all … quick question for the group. I am awaiting shipment of my Sub 4, which I plan to integrate with my Arc and existing Sub 3.  When I receive my Sub 4, place it, and power it on, I have a question…When I launch my Sonos app, I know I should be going to the room where I have my existing system set up and use the “Connect Second Sub” feature from within the room.  BUT, when I launch into the Sonos app, won’t it detect my new Sub 4 pretty much immediately and want me to set it up (via a pop up or something) -- before I even have a chance to navigate into my room?Thanks!

Purchased Sonos One speaker 3 years ago, using Alexa voice control, connecting to Pandora.  Everything worked perfectly until 3 weeks ago.  Now, “Hey Alexa, play Thumbprint Radio on Pandora”.  Alexa repeats my request “Now playing Thumbrpint Radio on Pandora”, and then follows up immediately with “What would you like to play next”.  NO MUSIC!  If I unplug the Sonos speaker, then plug it back in, it will work for the rest of the day, but then not connect to Pandora the next day, unless I unplug the Sonos speaker again.  Another work around is “Hey Alexa, play 70s Hits on Spotify” and Sonos begins playing that station (or any other station).  And then I say “Hey Alexa, cancel music”, she cancels Spotify.  THEN, if I say “Hey Alexa, play Thumbprint Radio on Pandora”, she will play the music!  I’ve had 7 (Seven) calls in to Sonos Tech Support and they cannot figure out the problem.  I’ve gone through ALL necessary steps (disabling SKILLS, enabling SKILLS, removing Pandora app, re-downloadi

Where can you get a replacement turntable band?

I have two Play:1 speakers and have constant problems connecting to the app.  I’ve spent hours trying to reset systems, updated IP addresses etc…. Once I got it all to work then…..it disappears from my app.  NO speakers found.   One of the speakers will still play when I use the button on the speaker,  one will not.   I”m so disappointed with Sonos…..I’ve not purchased anything new and refuse to do so until they fix this issue without needing computer science degree.  In this era of technology, it should be easy.  please provide an easy fix!Thank you.

Hi everyone, I just got sonos ace. I wanted to listen to quiet music in bed and realised they are too loud in the minimum volume setting.I have an IPhone and use Spotify for streaming, and couldn’t find any solution in my phone’s software. As I just bought them I updated them already, and it didn’t help. 

I can no longer control my Sonos system through alexa and i’m tearing my hair out. Note, i’m referring to control via an echo device linked via an alexa skill, not adding a voice controller directly to a speaker.I request a song, alexa states the name of the song, and the zone where i’ve requested it to play, but followed immediately by “hmm, I’m having trouble playing that right now”.I have been through the following steps multiple times based off reading people who have had similar, if not identical problems, but it has not resolved my issue.Disable Alexa Skill De-register all Sonos devices from my Amazon.co.uk account (4 zones in total) I’ve tried this via the Amazon web UI and directly through the Alexa app Remove any voice controllers configured directly onto a speaker (in my case, removing alexa from 1 Sonos Move) Delete the devices from Alexa following the de-registration - did this only on my 3rd and final attempt to sort this Log out of all amazon.co.uk accounts, and alexa ap

My SONOS was working great for the past year- until it wasn’t last week (just as an app refresh was released.) After spending 4 days troubleshooting, with ChatGPT and multiple calls to SONOS, we narrowed down the likely issue to NAT interference between my Vodafone router and ExpressVPN. With that, we unplugged the power from my VPN, and tested with both Sonos radio and Gloval player. They worked. The larger NAT interference solution from the SONOS tech was for me to call Vodafone and ask them to put my router in bridge mode, or switch the router out for a modem. Only snag  is that I’m posted to Germany. Still, Google translate helped me schedule a call with a Vodafone rep later today to try to address the issue. In the meantime, even though my network is showing up in the app, my Sonos radio and Global Player are connected to the app, and I have internet and WiFi working, I’m getting an error message “Something went wrong. Hi, I have 3 perfectly great sounding but old Sonos 1, 3 and 5 speakers that I’d like to convert to Bluetooth. Am I right in saying that if I purchase “any” one Bluetooth enabled Roam or Era Sonos device that I can convert all of my current devices to Bluetooth?  If my thoughts from my research are correct will one Roam or Era cover all 3 of my old devices?  Many thanks in advance. I have an Ultra Arc connected via Earc to my LG tv.  When I set up the Ultra Arc I attempted to have Sonos recognize my tv remote.  It wasn’t working in some aspects so I skipped it. The tv remote controls the volume coming out of the tv.  When I play music through via Alexa through the Arc, end the music and later turn on the tv, the tv remote for sound control is not working.  I can change the volume on the Sonos app.  I usually have to turn of the tv off to get control back. Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

Hi all, I'm possibly looking at grabbing Sub gen4, whilst they are on offer, but I have a question. I know the Sub and mini cannot be paired together.So,I currently have a beam and Sub mini in my living room, a few ones darted round the house and a pair of ones in stereo in my kitchen. Can I unpair the Sub mini, and reconnect it to my stereo pair for music And use the gen 4 with my beam? Occasionally I have music play though all my devices at the same time, how would this work with the mini and Sub gen4?Would it work? Thank you. 

Does adding a Sub 4 impact the experience much more than what i am getting from the current set up of Sonos Arc Ultra and 2 Era 300

I am having a hell of time reconnecting my Sonos One to my WiFi network.  Just when I think I’ve found the secret sequence of steps (and I’ve documented them for myself and AWAYS requires a factory reset and setting up a New System), those steps no longer work and now I’m getting an error message I’ve never seen before (“Your Sonos has been connected to the network but may not show up...”).  What the heck is that?  I can forget about connecting this product to Spotify now.   Come one, guys.  I need a much more repeatable process from you.  Oh, yeah.  One other thing.  Why is the speaker unexpectedly dropping off my WiFi to begin with.  With this new error message I can’t seem to get it back on to where it matters...so I guess the question isn’t relevant.  If this product is too old to support Spotify on a WiFi network, let me know….and if you can guarantee that it will.
