First time poster, so not really sure if I’m posting in the right area to share what seems like a bug, but with my Nintendo Switch 2, Sonos Arc + surrounds + Sub mini, and LG C5, running the NS2 test output plays the SW test tone too audibly (IMO) through the Arc. Sonos app correctly shows Multichannel PCM 5.1 and all the other test tones are appropriate, but it seems like the subwoofer audio just isn’t playing from where it should be.

I like to play music from my PC via bluetooth connection over my SONOS system. For that, I connect my SONOS Roam to my PC, then I group my other SONOS speakers (12) with the SONOS Roam.Very frequently, after a while (20-30minutes, or an hour; varies) the sounds starts to drop out intermittently. Sometimes it stops completely, and then I notice the Bluetooth connection between SONOS Roam and PC has been dropped completely. To reconnect them, I typically have to restart the PC or at least put it in sleep mode.Any suggestions, ideas, solutions? Thanks, Miguel

I have an Arc, Move 2 and Era 300 on my system. The Era 300 periodically pops and  has a little static at times. I’ve tried everything to fix but nothing works. Any suggestions? Sonos could not give me an answer and I’ve been waiting over a week for someone to reach back out to me.

Hello all.  I have been a subscriber to Apple Music for some time and, if you’ve ever used it, you are aware that the service creates a personal station for each subscriber based on their favorites and listening history.  My issue is that when I stream the station through the Sonos App it bears very little resemblance to the station streamed on the Apple app. It is much more restricted and excludes a lot of music.  Any ideas how to fix this?

Hi I have a playbar with an optic output but my new Samsung TV only has an HDMI output and no optical. I tried connecting the playbar with an original Sonos Optical Audio Adapter with a male optical cord to the playbar and HDMI to hdmi input in the other end for the arc entrance on the TV - but it does not work. Sonos support can not help as they do not have a cord the works between the optical in Sonos and the hdmi in the TV. They say I might need a female optical to connect to the original optical/optical cord - with a HDMI input the other end (playbar male optical to female optical to hdmi to tv) but they do not know it it will work. Any suggestions?

Hi - I have a large detached garage (48x30) and have a set of Play:3 speakers that I will put one on each end of the garage. Can I have 2 echos strictly for voice control of those speakers in the Sonos system?  Not looking for them to play music.I would like them to be set up with Alexa so my wife can announce to me in the detached that dinner is ready! :)   - all the other Sonos speakers around the house have voice control and it is great to do announcements that go to every room with a Sonos (all three kids included)

Equalizer is no longer available

I am about to lose it…I updated my whole network with new router and switches. The name (and password) of the wifi is the same.I have 3 Sonos One (Gen2) and 1 Port.I tried to reconnect my Sonos to my new network but without any luck.I tried to update the network, no luck.I tried to factory reset all my Sonos, without luck.I tried to plug 2 of the Sonos One by ethernet, no luck.I can go through the whole setup process for my Sonos but when I am done, the app see nothing.“Your system not found on wifi”Sometimes, I got the message:“Your Sonos One has been added, but may not appear in your system. If so, unplug the powercord and plug it back in to finish the setup from System Settings”.Not quite what it means because I cannot find this “System Settings” unless starting the whole process again…. without luck! What am I missing here?

After working perfectly for a couple of years I now get a message that there are “no playable products”. I’ve tried rebooting but none of the components in my system connect to WiFi. I currently have a Beam Gen 1, 2 x SL One and a Sub.

Long time user here with a new problem I cant seem to get fixed.I have one room in my system, called Office. I have a stereo pair of Era 100 and a Sub Mini. I have other Era100s around the house and a home theater of an Arc, Sub and 2 Era300s. Since the last update, the Office system keeps disconnecting. Everything else works fine. Tried all the regular stuff rebooting routers, unplugging speakers… even tried factory resetting the speakers in the Office room and re-adding. Still cannot get the Office back up. Every other device in the house on the network is running fine, even tried moving the Office room speakers to a different room. Nothing works. I can get the speakers connected, but then it will randomly disconnect and be unavailable again. Any ideas while I still have some hair left that I have not pulled out?

I have a Beam, two Sonos 1s and a sub woofer, set up as a group in Living Room, which all work perfectly on the Sonos App. However I have a Sonos One I would like to use in another room, but when I connect it to the app, it appears and works fine, but the Beam group all disappear from the app. My TV still puts sound through them but I have no control of them through the app. If I disconnect the One, the Beam group comes back onto the App. Any help would be gratefully received.

We have an older Sonos One system. It works well for streaming, but we have a number of records we’d like to play. At this point, we have not purchased a turntable, so are open to suggestions. As we have Ones, there’s no way to use wired or Bluetooth connections. Is there a way to use one of our computers to act as an intermediary between a WiFi turntable and our Sonos Ones?

Using : Sonos Controller for PCUsing Version 17.2.2, Sonos OS :S2Build: 90068190Sonos ID:  *********Windows 10 with latest updates.I just setup the music library using my PC internal drive.  I worked through the 913 Errors and the library is working, and playing music.  My problem is the SOME of the music files just don’t show up in the shared directory within Sonos.  The files are the same type as other files, (wma).  I’ve tried moving the files to other locations in shared directories.  I’ve specifically shared the file directory.  I’ve tried moving the un-seen files to other library directories containing files which are visible and playable. What could be preventing the files from showing up in the Sonos library? Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.

When I try to connect my Zen Mini music server to Sonos, I keep getting the error ‘Unable to connect to Zen Mini computer’.  This has started happening after updating the Innuos software,  And I have some internet traffic that connecting music servers is difficult with the Sonos S1 app, but I’m unable to upgrade this because my Sonos hardware (Connect Amp) is incompatible with S.  Anybody know any workaround solutions?

Any have issues with the Arc’s volume fluctuating in its own? I’ve talked to Sonos multiple times and have tried numerous solutions to no avail.  I’ve tried the following:Bought new router that supports 2.4G replaced HDMI cable

Zamówiłam online jedną kolumnę, pieniądze zostały pobrane za jedną, ale na stronie widzę dwa identyczne zamówienia.Czy możemy to poprawić? Moderator Edit: Translation by Google Translate- I ordered one column online and was charged for one, but I see two identical orders on the website. Can we fix this?

I am completely new to Sonos but I’ve just moved into a property which has a Sonos system installed.  I believe it’s quite an old system. There are several speakers in various rooms in the property and it seems they are all wired to a hub.The hub consists of  2 x SS30 3 Way Speaker Switch which seems connected to a Sonos Amp.  The bottom of the Amp has this  Model:  CONNECT: AMPI have zero idea how I’m supposed to use this and would love some advice.Do I connect with Bluetooth and a Sonos App?  Can I stream music from my phone (spotify) or is my system so old that I have to attach an actual music player (for example a CD player)? Is this system worth keeping?Thank you in advance for any advice.

Just got rid of my Bose system because I wanted WiFi. I’m going bonkers constantly changing the volume for each song. There is absolutely zero consistency.  Please tell me there is a fix.  This has never happened with any other speaker I’ve had.  It’s across the board with my roam, Arc & 300 individually.  I can’t find any setting in the app to gain consistency between songs. just so it’s clear when a playlist changes songs in a que the volume might get super loud or super soft. It never plays from one song to the next without a level variation.  The actual setting doesn’t change, but the listening level changes. So it might stay on a 28, but that 29 will vary greatly.I’m really starting to question my decision. thanks for any suggestions.  oh - mostly Amazon Music through Sonos app - I rarely use the Sonos music but it happens on their radio as well.

Cannot get upgraded to download successfully.

I’m trying to set up a new alarm in my speaker but it refuses to shuffle the playlist.   I have another alarm set with a different playlist and it happily shuffles that one, but no matter what I do with this new alarm, it will not shuffle.   I have the playlist set to shuffle in Spotify, I have the shuffle button in the alarm section but nothing.  I transferred the playlist to Sonos and put it on to shuffle, but it turns off the shuffle!  Any ideas?

Looking for a 2025 response - I have managed to use an extender to have one room in my kitchen while the rest connect to the router.  For a variety of reasons I am considering trying a Powerline Extender (Netgear to be the same as my other devices).  I would switch the extender into Access Point mode.  I should then have the same single network SSIDs (not new ones from the Extender).  I am thinking this should help if the Powerline works.  Live in a cement house so can add ethernet easily.   I read many posts from years ago and wondering if anything has change or any views on this in today’s world with the current S2 app etc.      Thanks in advance.

Hi folks, I’ve recently upgraded from a Sonos Beam Gen 1 to a Gen 2 and have a query about Dolby Atmos effects. The Sonos Beam Gen 2 is located in our lounge, which has a roughly 10-foot high ceiling with a light fitting on the middle that hangs down slightly. At the moment I can’t seem to hear any rear or overhead sounds when playing Dolby Atmos content. I’ve used Trueplay to set up the soundbar, but does anyone have any recommendations for possible Height Level audio settings, please? I’m not sure whether to go lower or higher in those settings (or leave them at zero) in order to pick up any overhead or surround sounds. Thanks in advance! Matt Moderator edit: Changed Gen 1 to Gen 2 for clarity

Hi. I am looking for some wisdomI have a sonos ONE in the kitchen which i really like. Recently i have done an update as there was some difficulty with the sonos app finding the speaker ( i was still able to mostly find the speaker on spotify)Since then it seems the speaker is invisible to the app and to spotify. My wifi set up is with the BT router in the lounge (other side of an old brick internal wall from the sonos speaker) and a BT wiFi Disc extender in the room above the kitchen to reach the loft office. From my reading the sonos speaker systems are disrupted by having the wifi extender with the same SSID - I have read that you cant change the name of the WiFi disc as it just repeats out the wifi signal. So it seems the option is to Buy a mesh network - £250 ishbut…I was wondering...if sonos use sonosNET can i plug a sound bar into the TV and the wifi router and then the sonos ONE in the kitchen should attach to that network and not the WIFi? This would be cheaper and i would get

I’ve had an Arc (plus a few other speakers) in our media room, along with an ATV for forever. Everything was working fine for a couple of years. Within the last month, I need to disconnect (using the ATV and volume-down button) and then reconnect the ATV remote in order to control volume with the Arc. This procedure works about 20% of the time. I have to do it again and again in order to regain volume control with the ATV remote. To repeat. every single time I power down the TV and ATV when I turn the system back on, the ATV remote control is not capable of volume control with the Arc. Then I go through the “remote unpairing” steps one to ten times, and it works again. This is a new issue. It worked perfectly for years before a month or so ago.

So, seems other people have had the same issues. Trying to log into my app and control my system. I’d like to play my music. App keeps asking to log into. Then says it wants to connect to the website to log into. When I do it takes me to their store not my account. Going back to app it asks me to sign in. I have existing devices but they don’t all show and asks me again to sign in. Yet the app also shows I’m signed in. Every time I try to sign out it’s jumps to an error and timed out pop up. Just keeps sending me in circles. The Sonos app has been having major problems for years now. There’s simply no excuse any longer for this mess. This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues connecting and maintaining connections. Last time I spent 3-4 hours trying to connect my system. Your speakers sound good. But if you can’t connect they are absolutely worthless. 1000’s of dollars invested in your system and your app is S***. Sick and tired of it. I’m selling everything.
