Hello, I cannot use my Sonos Ace microphone on online calls (Google meets, Microsoft teams...) when I choose the stereo sound output (which is the sound quality I prefer because the Hand-Free AG audio is not good), only my laptops audio is possible to use. I could use both audio output and headsets microphone on my previous Airpods pro, so i don’t understand why i cannot use them on my Sonos Ace.

I’ve noticed a few times already when I pause a movie or TV show for a couple of minutes then resume playing, the Beam doesn’t output any audio even though it is on and I can control the volume up and down. The audio output is set to “ auto” default settings in my TCL Tv. It’s connected via HDMI arc the TV supports Dolby Atmos. My usual fix is to turn off the tv and turn it back on, a bit annoying

Hello! I have a question regarding the intended behavior of two Era 300s as surrounds in an Arc Ultra set up. It feels to me like the Era 300 side drivers are noticeably louder (maybe 6dB?) than the rear drivers. I’ve noticed that when turning down the surround volume slider you can make the sides match the rears, as that slider only changes the side volume and not the rears. With default settings after TruePlay, this imbalance doesn’t sound ‘bad’, but I am wondering if this is the intended behavior. I want to make sure that when every slider is set to ‘0’ (after TruePlay) I’m getting the closest experience to what Sonos/Giles Martin & co tested/approved. Thank you! Edit for clarification: this is when playing Atmos from Apple Music through the Sonos app. This behavior is consistent between quick and advanced TruePlay with multiple rounds of each performed.

I have a new Arc Ultra paired with an amp that has four in ceiling speakers and am also using a wired Polk Sub that I had.  Whenever I change the Arc to use “Surrounds” the sub woofer doesn’t work.  The only way I can get it all to work at the same time is to keep them separated and turn the volumes up for both.  That creates a bit of an odd echo though and isn’t really surround.  Any thoughts on what I’m doing wrong?

I have a three room set up , kitchen is an Arc, sonus amp and ceiling speakers for surrounds and gen 3 sub, Arcam Dac, iPad hard wired as controller. Small lounge Bose cinema 520 Arcam air Dac and Sonus port. My main lounge has a Denon 2200 AVR, Bowers and Wilkins in Wall front 3 speakers . Surrounds and height speakers in wall and ceiling . I am looking to make improvements to the main lounge as I am happy with the rest of the setup. I also have a single Sonus five and a move 1.I want to have the main lounge join the Sonus architecture and improve the sound quality too . Can a Sonus amp be used to power the front left and right speakers ?within the surround system ? Also could a Sonus subwoofer 4 then be connected to the main lounge ? Could I purchase another Sonus 5 and use a pair usefully within the main lounge too . If the amp option isn’t optimal , if a port is connected, could I then use a Sonus sub in the non sonus setup. 

In the lounge I have an Amazon Echo speaker and a Play One SL. For the last few years I have been able to ask Alexa to Play Apple Music and it would play over Sonus. Two days ago is started having trouble and displayed a message in the Sonos App “The connection to play.iTunes.apple.com was lost” I can use the Alexa voice command on the Echo speaker to play Apple Music on the Echo speaker so the Apple Music Skill is connected correctly. I can use the Sonos app on a mobile device to play Apple Music and I can then use Alexa commands on the Sonos speaker to skip tracks. I can use Alexa voice commands on Sonos to ask for time, weather, control lamps and TV. If I change to the Sonos voice assistant commands I CAN play Apple Music using voice commands. The only combination that does not work is using Alexa voice commands and asking to play Apple Music on Sonos. This is more of a feature request.I would like to plugin the optical output of a CD player into a pair of ERA-300.(I know you can get an analogue USB-C adaptor but that goes digital to analog to digital)I would like a clean digital path to the DAC’s inside the era 300’s direct from a CD transport 

Has anyone tried the double twist app on android to airplay your music to the Beam 2 and are there any problems with it. I've downloaded it but I need to pay £15 to be able to use airplay. Any feed back would be appreciated. 

Hi, Just added a RAY to my system  (4 x S1) and installed the latest version of the app for windows (Sonos_85.0-64200).The controller is just blank and I cannot work out what to do to make it active.The app works fine on my mobilePhoto shows the app screen on my pc which is running win 10.Any help much appreciated.

So I have  2 (surround) speakers connected to an AMP.The AMP is placed far away from the setup (basement), so there is no way to do wireless, and everything is wired.I have no soundbar yet… but are considering buying one… So my question is is it possible to use this AMP (that is only accessible by ethernet and not wireless) as surround for the Arc Ultra?

When will sonos update the app so there is possible to change equalizer settings trough the app, even when you are connected via bluetooth. I really love the products but for the pricetag it should be possible to use same app as when it is connected to wifi. 

I'm fed up with Sonos products that can't stream music from my Apple Music service. I'm not even talking about the multiple bugs with speakers that lose connection to the network or the app that changes the name of the speakers as it pleases. I'm going to abandon this brand that is getting worse every year if all the problems aren't resolved quickly.

I have Ultra ARC and that is running well connect to our wifi system (Ruckus) however Sonos Sub 4 canoot connect (Sometime can connect but arround 10-15 second that is disconnected).and i need to make sure, Sonos using dual stack(IPv4 and IPv6 on this devices) for connectivity? if yes  then its possible for them to allow only IPV4 on this Sonas Device? Thank you for your attention and cooperation.

I have two Sonos system, one system with Sonos 2 app, and newer devices, and one system with Sonos 1 app and a connect device that does not funcion with Sonos 2 app.Since a couple of days Sonos is preventing me from using the Sonos 1 app. Instead they are showing a screen, instructing me to use the new Sonos app (which is impossible with the Connect device).Anyone else experincing this?

I know that Sonos speakers are limited to playback of 24/48 files.  I know that the Sonos system will convert 24/192, 24/96, 24/88.2 files to 24/48.  Does it also up convert 24/44.1. My real question is, is it better to allow the Sonos system to convert the files on the fly to the 24/48 resolution or would using a third party app to make the conversion to 24/48 prior to playback be a better option?  Would there be any gain/loss in performance and sound quality by converting those files prior to playback on Sonos equipment

Hi all, I’ve read a few comments where people have had similar experiences regarding loss of personally curated playlists, so assumed mine had disappeared into the Sonos ether for good, after  disastrous app update. I’d resigned I wouldn’t purchase Sonos again (6 speakers in!). However, just went to start over and when I went to add/save a song, all my previous playlists appear! I’m now hoping they’re still there somewhere but I just don’t know how I can access them? Any advice 🙏 

I've just moved house and have a new WiFi router so my network settings are different to the ones previously used on my Sonos One. I'm following the instructions on connecting my product to my new WiFi, it plays the audio chimes and I press the button when the light flashes white and green, but when it comes to putting my WiFi password in (it's definitely the correct password) it says There was a problem connecting your Sonos One to ". I'm assuming that my WiFi Network Name should be between those last quotes. The only other things I've been prompted to do to fix this is turn the product off and on, and do the same with my router, neither of which were successful. 

Hi I am a custom installer and we did a restaurant with 10 Sonos ONE SL’s. About 2 years after the install we had two of them sound like the speaker was blown, they were working fine but just sounded terrible. We sent them to our distributor and they advised us that the speaker is blown and we should  reach out directly to Sonos, which we did. They approved a RMA replacement even though they were out of warranty which we were very grateful for. Less than a year after these two blew we have had another two blow but now Sonos does not want to give an out of warranty RMA. I have come across other posts on this forum with the exact same issue and what looks like a Sonos representative stating they would replace the units if they were blown and not up to standard.Were these units defective which caused them to blow and if the two were initially replaced why are the other two not being replaced because of the exact same issue?

Hi , I have a Move and Port in the same network . If I try to connect my Move to my Iphone app S2 the Move isn’t accessible. I need to make a Group with my Port to chose a Station and then disconnect the Port to be able to connect to my Move . Over voice control the Move is  accessible alone ? Before i have the Port i used my Move with a old Play5 with the App S1 . After replacing the Play5 ( defect ) with a new Port I switched also to the app S2Is there a problem with the Move ( 1st Generation ) and the app S2 ?  

As with many others, since last years software update I cannot use my music library properly. Album listings are all messed up and re- installing the library doesn’t change anything. I am also struggling to re add the library as Sonos insists on it being done as  local user, which I do not normally do. I log on with my microsoft account as I did before the update but all I get is error 913. I have logged on with a local account and get the same result. Folder sharing as a far as I can see is set up correctly. There is no sign of Sonos addressing this issue, they just appear to assume that everyone is streaming their music from the web. Any suggestions welcome.

I have a Roam speaker. It's a DVT model. Since I try to think eco friendly I mostly want to repair stuff. My bass speaker is ratteling. Since there is no warranty on this device. Is there any possibility to repair/replace that speaker and not to throw it on the wastpile.Kind regards

Hi All,I have not seen this request.Unless I have overlooked this, I propose to Sonos developpers to add it: Sonos controller would be able to play a preview (10 seconds or user defined duration) of every track on a folder or on an album.At the time of Compact disc, some CD players (SONY, Technics, Onkyo, etc.) had this already 30 years ago.Probably an easy one to add. Can also add the functionality to play this discover mode with skips, say play all the songs in a folder or album with playing 10 seconds of a tracks by skips so we get to discover the beginning, the middle and the end of tracks. Very useful for DJ’s like. Currently doing it manually when preparing a show.
