When I open the Sonos windows app I am asked to check for updates, which I do and there are none. It then goes back to the same screen for checking updates. If I select “more options” and then “continue using the Sonos app” it responds with “some products are not registered”. On selecting “register your products” it asks you to log in and then responds with “your system is up to date” but it then goes back to tell me “some products are not registered” and I can’t get into the app.I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but still the same result as above. I have rebooted the router and powered down and back up all my Sonos devices to no avail.I have tried contacting Sonos via the chat selection for the past 2 days but after waiting over an hour on each day I have given up in frustration.I can play my music using my iPad or iPhone with no problems so the connection is there.any advice would be welcome

My Sonos speakers (except the two Moves) are Ethernet connected to my network. they function fine as a directly connected TV speaker system, however whenever I try to direct Apple Music or Spotify content I receive a ‘connection timed out’ error.I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app. I've power cycled both the network equipment and the sound bars. The Moves also have the same issue. Any ideas?thank you!

Hi, can you let me know the best recommended set up to connect an Arc with a PC for listening to video (no TV available unfortunately to connect HDMI-ARC cable) streamed through a PC - eg. SkyGo - I think there are various set ups, but want the best without delay on the video content. Thanks for your help

I recently connected a pair of Play:3 speakers as surrounds for my Beam 2, Sub 3 basement home theatre setup and the surrounds are giving me a lot of trouble. The audio coming out of the surrounds is throbbing like a tremolo effect, similar to if you talk into a fan that’s spinning. I previously had a pair of Play:1 surrounds connected and they worked perfectly, so the Apple TV and Sony TV settings are not the problem. I have tried rebooting the Beam. I have tried rebooting the Play:3’s. I have removed them as surrounds and added them from scratch and the problem persists. Could this be an issue with wireless interference? If it matters, the Beam is connected via Ethernet with WiFi disabled. I believe when the Play:1’s were hooked up I did not have the Beam on Ethernet. Suggestions please?

Hi! Just upgraded my Playbar to an Arc Ultra. I already have 2 Play 1’s and Sub 2. Will I be able to to add these to the Ultra without compromising the sound quality? Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Hi, I need your help setting up my Beam gen 2. In the end I think my tv is to old (I hope I’m wrong).  LG OLED55C7V (launched 2017) Apple TV 4K (latest) Sonos beam gen 2 What I understand, my tv only have ARC port for hdmi and not eARC. When having the Apple TV set to Dolby Atmos, I can’t have the sound to be synced because I don’t have earc ports. So I tested Dolby digital 5.1. But then I can’t get the sound synced properly and it did also get a little pulsing sometimes.  Last try I set it to Stereo. Now the sound got synced. But the sound sometimes sound like it’s in a pipe / tube. Really weird.  Other settings on my Apple TV are: 4K SDRYCbCr4:4:4Match dynamic range and frame rate On my LG TV it’s set to: Bypass/pass throughDTV is set to autoSimplink onOutput PCM When turning Dolby Atmos off in Apple TV and let it use standard surround and also set the Output in LG to Auto instead of PCM. Now it sends Dolby Digital 5.1 and the weird “pipe”-sound is gone. But, the sound gets a little

ARP attack between Sonos speakers. ARC attacks the Era-100 rear speakers, or vice versa. What's happening with Sonos? My Eset antivirus detected the ARP attack between these products, and this is causing my Wi-Fi network to crash. I also notice they're creating a hidden 2.4GHz network. 

There should be a further option in the ‘Queue Management’ dropdown; that is ‘Add To Front Of Queue’.Isn’t that how Sonos used to work?Correspondingly the user should be able to specify a default setting for this to avoid having to visit the dropdown at each visit.

Good afternoon all.Is anyone able to assist with the below issues with my Play 1.About a month ago, every time I opened the Sonos app, it would show that my device could not be found (using Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus) I would leave the app open for around 10 minutes, and it would eventually show up, however, as soon as I went to go back into the app, again it would not appear. I have 1 Gig broadband speed, and connecting via wifi.I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, still the same issue.I have now factory reset the unit, but I still have the same issue. In addition, since resetting, Google Assistant will not install (I have relinked the account with Sonos), but no joy.I can install Alexa no problem (which I do not want), however, this is not responding to voice commands.Seems like I have multiple issues, and have tried all basics to fix this. Hi everyone,I have a question about a potential setup:I already use several Sonos speakers around my apartment. In addition, parallel to sonos speakers, I have a pre-amp record player connected to a pair of active B&O speakers (via RCA).I’m wondering:Could I add a Sonos Connect between the record player and the B&O speakers, so that: I can still use the B&O speakers to play vinyl I can also send Sonos/AirPlay audio to the B&O speakers And ideally, I can sync the B&O speakers with the rest of my Sonos system, so they all play together The key thing is:I don’t want to have to unplug the record player every time I want to use Sonos/AirPlay — so I’m looking for a sort of "RCA switch with Sonos/AirPlay built in." Would the Sonos Connect work in this case?Is it even possible to use a Sonos Connect to "bridge" audio between a non-Sonos source and non-Sonos speakers like this?Also, if this is possible, do all versions of Sonos Connect support this functionality, or shou

I’ve got a handful of Sonos devices using the (dreaded) S2 app on iPhone & iPad (latest versions of iOS/App).I’ve named each of the devices/rooms appropriately and some names stick (e.g. Kitchen which has a Play:1, Living Room which has 2xPlay:3 + Sub) but others (e.g. Snug with a Five,  Garden office running an Arc) don’t.  They look like the name has stuck but at some undetermined point in the future, it reverts to Sonos Five (so I have a couple of rooms with the same name or a name which isn’t helpful to anyone other than myself as guests don’t know/care about the device type).I’ve tried using either the canned names (which I don’t want to do as they don’t all match the names I use for the rooms) or bespoke names but the same happens. I’ve looked through a load of other posts but they all seem to be about how to rename a device from the app rather than it not working. Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong or is this just another bug which will at some point be fixed? 

I recently got a few Symfonisk speakers, and encountered and issue when adding youtube music, my primary streaming service, to my account. When i go to access my playlist, most being over 100, with a few encroaching on 500, i find that the list will loop after the first 100 or so songs, meaning i am unable to view any songs in my playlist after the first 100. Steps to reproduce the issue:Add Youtube music account Open any playlist over 100 songs Scroll down the playlist until you reach the 100th song, and voila, you will see that same section of the list repeat over, and over, and over, and over, and over!This is an issue I've had for a while, i had a Sonos play:1 a few months back, and it had the same problem. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, using different phones, and as previously noted, even using completely different products, all with the same problem.I can add any more details if necessary, but in my case, it really is as simple as that, nothing really more to

Hi. I own sonos arc, era 100 and sub (gen3) i usually use my speakers for 3-4 hours a day and i plug them on and off every single day. I want to know by doing this am i damaging my devices or is it okay to turn them on and off from power every day

I have a Marantz SR6014 with 3 Sonos amps already installed across 3 zones. I added a Sonos Port to the receiver so that I could stream music through my TV surround as an additional zone (added to the phono rca connections) however the sound is not very clear and even after adjusting the eq etc, still a little muffled. My question is, if I replace the Sonos Port with another amp, would it sound better? Could I just hook it up to the rca ports on the receiver, or is there a better way for optimal sound?     

Hi,For more than a year now, I’ve had a persistent issue where I need to re-authenticate my YouSee Music account in the Sonos app **every single day** to be able to play music.I’ve contacted Sonos support (ref: ******** ) and was told the engineering team is aware and working on it – but no ETA has been provided. Also, there’s been no clear statement on how or when affected users will be informed.I’ve followed the “remove and re-add service” workaround from YouSee, but it’s only a short-term fix. Hi Just bought a Beam and connected to system with existing Play 5. Works fine in a group while playing music, but the minute I change to tv the Play5 drops out of the group.   Anyone got any ideas? 

Hi!I have a Play5 speaker which keeps turning itself down. Other devices are unaffected. It doesn’t seem to be a stuck button on the device or a controller.Is there a log I can view to see what is causing the volume to reduce?Thanks. 

Hi-i have 2 Sony cd mega players- a cdp-cx450 and a 300 disc version. They can be daisy chained together (which means only 1 input to the amp is required). I’ve got a Sonos port and a Teac amp (with numerous input and output possibilities. One Sony player uses the A1 control system and the other uses A1-II.I also have wired speakers hooked up to my amp (I’m using port both to create a zone on another floor and also to accommodate streaming of analog equipment (the cd players). I can get streamed music to play through the Port, but not my cd players. I’ve done this setup previously but in spite of extensive effort so far (and one not at all helpful call to Sonos support), I haven’t gotten it to work. I’m thinking it is a Sonos software setting (maybe related to pass through or group (which I don’t recall using when I used a previous version of the Sonos app). Has anyone gotten this or a similar setup to work? Anyone have any ideas?Thanks in advance!

I have a Sonos Ray connected to a somewhat old (~2017) Samsung smart TV (through optical cable). I followed the remote setup guide, and it worked. But a day or two later, the remote stopped working, or actually works only very rarely (it may change the volume once or twice, but then stops). If I remove all the universal remote setup in my TV and go through the process again, it works again, but only for a while. I have gone through this a couple of times already.An obvious bet could be my remote's batteries, but I have tried with new ones. I just wonder if anybody has encountered this or knows how to solve it. (Apologies if it's been asked already, but I didn't find this precise issue asked).

I'm planning to wall mount two sonos five speakers in a large game room. Better to mount in vertical or horizontal position? 

How can we remove other guests from spotify connect.So they are no longer linked to a speaker or multiple.We have a house that we let friends and family come in. And we ourself are also in the house often. But sometimes the Sonos starts playing music - and then someone's Spotify is still linked to sonos.How do we get rid of it. Since there is no Sonos account linked in the services.And since there are many friends who also can connect to the Sonos. We never know who is / was there. And played on the different speakers.We have Home Assistant running - if this helps with a solution.

Greetings from Rhode Island.My question is whtat hardware (and how many?) do I need to upgrade to the latest platform which i believe is Sonos 2.I have Sonos one hardware driving Sonos One Speakers. There are 8 outdoor speakers in four locations and 10 indoor speakers in 5 locations. I assume I can use the Sonos one speakers I have with the new Sonos 2 hardware. Many thanks for any insight. I have tried today to get support re my ace headphones via phone with sonos support. Headphone volume not very loud when listening to streaming services in swap mode. I was cut off after 30 mins on the first call then the second rep did not appear to know a thing or knowledge of sonos. I have been with sonos for over 10 years and this is the first time I have needed tech support and this was rubbish. How can I speak to a supervisor or someone who does not have to look at the computer to find out what he has to do to help. Worse customer service ever. Rant over sorry but spent the last hour being wound up by sonos so called support.
