Sonos Amp crossover frequency resets to default without intervention

Multiroom Sonos system. Living Room group has Sonos Amp wired to Mirage tower speakers through speaker outputs and a Rogers Soundlab Sub connected via Sonos sub out jack. Crossover frequency set with app Amp system settings to 65 Hz. Connected wirelessly to home network and other Sonos products on home network. Every couple days I find the crossover setting is back at the 80Hz without having made an adjustment to desired crossover frequency. Is there some situation such as changing speaker grouping through the app, or perhaps transient loss of network connection or power related event that I am unaware of that prompts the Sonos Amp to do this reset to default? Other settings for the Amp remain as set. All components in this group function normally and connection is functional for connection to other groups in system, just this inconvenience.

Spectrum router SAC2V2S is it compatible with Play:1?

I can’t connect to the internet with my Play 1 speakers. I have Spectrum and the router is SAC2V2S. I have tried turning on UpNP and changing to 2.4 GHz frequency and rebooting the router, modem and the speakers. I still can’t connect to the internet.

Sonos Amp Sub Crossover Too Low

Hello - due to changes in space requirements in our (very small) living room, (and the arrival of kids and all their related paraphernalia!) I have had to replace my floor standing speakers with smaller wall-mounted satellites (Cambridge Audio Min Minx 22) and a discrete subwoofer.The Min Minx 22 have a lower frequency response of 120Hz so require a sub to fill in for anything below that. I have purchased a sub which will do the job from ~38Hz to ~160Hz, ample for my needs.However; when setting this all up I discovered that the Sonos Amp crossover settings will only allow a cutoff of 100Hz or less, a good ~40Hz or so below where I would ideally like to set the crossover point.Presumably this is a software limitation, so I was wondering if others are facing this issue and whether Sonos might be able to update firmware to allow a higher cutoff frequency for the sub output?I see other similar products on the market which offer much more range in the crossover settings but would really lik

Trying to listen via S1 App to Mixcloud content via my Sonos system.Can search Mixcloud OK but not getting any audio at all - I can listen via the Mixcloud site after listening to an ad.Is anybody else having this issue?

Small depression on center grille of Sonos Arc Ultra – is this normal?

Hi everyone,I recently bought a Sonos Arc Ultra and noticed a small depression in the top center of the speaker grille, approximately where the led is located. It’s not visible in photos and can only be felt when I run my finger across it. Is this part of the design, or could it be a defect? I haven’t noticed any issues with sound quality, but I just want to be sure. Has anyone else experienced something similar? Thanks in advance!

Sonos2 app won't log me in

The app has limited functionality on my phone, I can access tv, music library and radio stations, but when I try to log in to change the priority from tv to Beam to play music for an extended period, ie for more than 2 songs, it switches back to tv, cutting the music off.I click log in on my phone but it just sits there doing nothing, I can’t get past the log in screen. It worked fine on my previous phone, but hasn’t logged in once on my present one. I can’t even log in to update the app, which I had no problems doing on my pc.Can someone help please?

Music Server "Unable to play 'xxx' = cannot connect to HOSTNAME/DIR ..." for SOME tracks

I’ve been muddling through getting my local Mac music library accessible to Sonos (something I used with no issues for years before the App was improved).  I have it working sometimes but also not working.Some of the tracks work exactly as they should, launched from the Sonos program on the Mac or from the App on my  iPhone.  Some of them fail from my Mac, but then work from the iPhone, and then also work from the Mac. Others pop a persistent error message of the form:Unable to play '<track name>.m4a' - cannot connect to /<HOSTNAME>/<DIRECTORY> because the server cannot be found. My music library is on an external disk mounted directly on my Mac which is sharing the filesystem (SMB enabled).  I am trying to launch the music from the Sonos program on my Mac and also from two family iPhones.It seems bizarre that some tracks are just fine while others that in some cases are in the same subdirectory can not be played.  Or perhaps, its that the server cannot be found for s

Living Room Setup Issues

Excuse my ignorance as I’m a complete newbie to Sonos!! I have recently purchased the following components for my living room system:Arc Ultra 2 x Era 300 Sub 4I currently have the Arc Ultra in the centre, with both Era 300s beside it as my living room isn’t really set up to have rear speakers (photo below for reference).When setting up in the Sonos app, it doesn’t seem to let me add the Era 300s to the same “room” as the Arc Ultra unless I add the Era 300s as surround speakers. I currently have the Arc Ultra in “Living Room”, and the Era 300s (as a stereo pair) with the Sub 4 in “Living Room 2”.This is proving problematic because as a default, when I use my TV remote to adjust the volume it only controls the Arc Ultra, and I then have to use the app to adjust the volume of the Era 300s.What is the best way to set up my system? Should I be setting up the Era 300s as surround speakers and finding a suitable position for them, or is there a way to have them in their current position but

Issues with playing music on 4 grouped Era 100 speakers

Hello, I have four Era 100 speakers set up in my apartment. I have them all grouped in the Sonos app and use Spotify to play music on them (from my phone and desktop computer).There is some weird issue popping up occasionally, though. When trying to play a song, sometimes only a few or a single speaker starts playing. Sometimes none of them plays. Sometimes they all start playing, then suddenly stops for a few seconds and then jump to the next song.I've tried to switch channels on my router. I've also given each speaker a static IP on my network. I've checked the network diagnostic when the issues occur, but can't see any signs of any degraded connectivity through my routers app.I'm at a loss here. Anyone got some suggestions?One thing worth noting is that if I reset everything and set it up from scratch, then everything works flawlessly for a few days. And then it's back to square one.Best regards! And any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated!

speaker drops - Theatre setup

I have an Arc Ultra 2, 2 ERA300s and the new Sub4. i have the arc connected to my TV (Arc port) I connected the Sub and the ERA300s to my Arc as surround/sub.The sub drops out every 20-30 seconds, and the era 300’s randomly disconnect.  Sometimes one, sometimes the other, sometimes both, sometimes the surrounds and the sub all together. The only consistent product is the Arc Ultra 2. It’s not a duplicate IP issue (This response is ludicrous)I don’t get drops in streaming services in any other device on my network. My network works very well.   I see so many posts about this issue and no one seems to have resolved it. This is extremely frustrating.

Sonos ZP100 Setup in Backyard

Hi, I've been searching the internet the last couple days and haven't found a great answer to my issue. I currently have several Sonos speakers throughout my house, as well as an outdoor system that is running 3rd party speakers (Klipsch) through two Sonos amps (Connect and ZP100, via the Sonos 1 app). The Connect sits inside my house and is wired to 2 Klipsch speakers on the house wall. The ZP100 sits about 60 feet behind the house in the pool equipment shed (concrete block), and is connected to 2 KIipsch speakers along the backyard wall. I have it in a waterproof box to protect it. The ZP100 is plugged in to the pool shed power. I realize this is VERY old technology but I had a limited budget!The issue I am having is that the wifi signal in the pool shed is weak, so the ZP100/back wall speakers cut out intermittently. I am trying to figure out the best way to boost that signal. I can't really run an ethernet cable out there without tearing up some hardscape, so that solution is not i

sonos suddenly wont connect.

Spent a few unfruitful hours with the nice people at tech support.  Any idea why a system would suddenly not be able to connect?  Speakers show up in app.  App says internet connection lost, try again later, connection timed out etc.I’ve tried wired connection to router.

LG tv C9 and Sonos Beam/Play 3s - sound cutting out

Hello,I have an L9 C9 tv connected via eARC HDMI to a Sonos Beam, which is paired with two Play:3s.The sound keeps cutting out randomly for several seconds. I’ve disconnected the tv and Beam from power for several minutes, removed all other HDMI cables, tried different HDMI cables (all are 2.1), changed settings on the TV and connected devices (PS5, FireStick, and Virgin Media 360). Please help! Sonos Connect - is it near useless for vinyl?

I’ve had a Sonos Connect Gen 2 for a few years that I got on eBay.  Have to say it’s been brilliant for utilising my Stereo speakers as part of the overall Sonos experience, though I did mainly buy it in the hope that it would be a way to get vinyl playing in every room.  I’ve read guides on how to best set my turntable up with the Connect, but ultimately it remains fine in the living room and only occasionally stutters out audio everywhere else.  I’ve read people say the Connect is pretty weak for vinyl overall. Is the Port really that much better?  I don’t want to risk putting down all that money for one purpose, only to have the similar dropout woes.  As I say, the Connect does its job fine other than for vinyl.

Hi, my playbar is connected to the TV via an audio cable & Ethernet to the router. When I stream my music to all speakers the playbar cuts in and out throughout. Around 30 second between and then off for 5 seconds. (TV on standby) If I unplug the TV audio cable then it works fine. Is there anything I can do to cure this without having to keep removing the audio cable from the back of the TV every time I stream my music?

deezer region in sonos app

I use Deezer but I am not in the country where my deezer subscription is purchased. In the deezer app I can change the region to UK and get top tracks, top artists etc for the UK. However the Sonos app gives me top tracks etc from the deezer subscription home (not UK) and there is no way to change the region in Sonos app. My Sonos profiles are set to UK but this makes no difference. Any way to fix the region in Sonos app so I get local playlists. Jezzzz

My NAS got fried in a storm, have a new NAS but cant update music library

I have been using SONOS since they started.  Had a 10TB NAS filled with music.   Electrical storm knocked out my NAS, so I got a new one, and populated it with a back up fo my library.  I now point the music library to a static IP address, it performs the scheduled update, but it always stalls with a message that there is NOT enough room for the update.   Do I reinitialize my entire system and try to mount the new NAS again, and if so, how do I do that?

Language issue while using Sonos app on iphone or ipad with Polish language.

The latest Sonos app for iPhone and iPad. Version 80.18.25. There are still a number of UI communication errors.Instead of descriptions, various placeholders or codes are shown. This only occurs when the iOS/iPadOS system language is set to Polish. When switching the language to English, these errors disappear. Messages are displayed correctly. Attached are examples of the errors.The issues also occur during speaker setup and any changes to the Sonos system settings.
