I have a 4k Panasonic dvd player ub450. It has 2 outputs of HDMI. One output for audio video combined and another for audio only. Here’s my question, audio video out to tv for video, the audio out to beam sound bar. Now how would I get other sources to the soundbar such as Directv, netflicks,etc if I’m using audio out from 4k dvd player to sound bar? Also this seams that I would not be using E Arc on my tv since sound bar is occupied with HDMI from 4k DVD player. My feeling is, this set up is for an AV receiver only am I right? I recently installed the sonance 6.1 speaker system using 14-4 outdoor rated wire total length approx 200’ to last satellite speakerapp 140 feet from amp to sub woofer wired up everything correctly notice no bass from sub woofer went to EQ setting s on app adjusted bass treble loudness - still no bass from sub - I adjusted the L R balance bar a little bit then had bass from sub woofer - only get bass from subwoofer if the balance isn’t center - has to to off center to L or R to get bass - any idea - voltage drop ??please ring it thanks in advance 

How do I get my Beam to play music from my network library? I have a Microsoft environment. 

In the past few days, my Sonos app shows a small circle with a "1" in It showing in the upper corner of the speaker image in the display. It looks like.a notification indicator of some sort.  But selecting it does nothing.What is it for, and why has it just started appearingThanksRon

Just got a secondhand Sonos Play:5 but the previous owner didn’t transfer ownership, and I don’t have any way to get in contact with them anymore. Is there a way to fully reset the system so I can get set up as the new owner? I’ve tried factory resetting, but the app still says I need to sign in as system owner to get it added to my network.edit: Got it! Thank you both!

Last year I had to travel over Mother’s Day, and I set up an alarm to play a Mother’s Day playlist for my wife that has become a comical tradition in our family.  That playlist has been long since deleted (and doesn’t trigger weekly), but every Sunday I still get an iOS notification and I can’t for the life of me see why.  Anyone else seen this or have a suggestion on how to make it stop?   

My Sonos 2 has the alarm set for 7:00am every day, to Watercolors on SiriusXM. Some days it plays the music, other days the chime plays.  I can override the chime by selecting the Watercolors through the app, but it is quite frustrating. 

Has Sonos lost the plot, the new app is rubbish.  Tried to listen to Beethoven’s 5th and I couldn’t get the speakers to go on full surround. Apparently this function has been removed? 

Trying to play music from Plex to my sonos. I get the following error message. - “Unable to play ‘song title’ - the connection to Plex was lost”I tried everything.I have the same problem if I use the app on my phone or my computer. I am able to play these songs through “Plexamp” - which makes me think it is a Sonos problem?My server is hosted on a Synology 718+.I have the same issue whether I am in the home network or outside (1 Gbit).Thanks for helping.

I have an existing AVR setup (with sonos connect as an input) and currently have lots of sources (e.g. sky, PS5, Switch etc.) running through the AVR then into my TV.I am adding a second system in another room, but would like to be able to use all of the same sources, via the AVR.I'm wondering if I can use the AVR's second HDMI output into a TV in another room, and then use the TV's eArc HDMI output into a Sonos Arc (along with era 300s and sub).This would allow me to use the AVR as a passthrough source for the TV with audio coming to the Arc via the TV.I cant see a reason why this shouldn't work, as as far as the Arc is concerned the AVR would in effect just be the TV's sources, but wanted to check if anyone else had done something similar before blowing a load of cash on it in vain!

I wonder if my Sonos will ever work again as well as it did before the update. It’s been a year and I grit my teeth every time I use it. Times out, doesn’t connect, drops components, sound glitches.  

I have connect attached to turntable. I have Arc and 2 Sonos 1.  The Sonos 1 are paired. When I play turntable Arc and one Sonos play. I guess in stereo mode. BUT the Sonos 1 that are paired only one of them play.  All speakers work as designed when I play Apple Music or Sonos music. So I know all work.  how do I get the other Sonos 1 to play with turntable ?  Thanks in advance ! jdt

After housing for a week or so when it worked fine,  some reason Sonos could not find 3/5 pieces of kit and says “this kit is part of another system, reset and add to new system” - a real pain to have to force the reset on each and add - using “Sonos network” when it asked.however for 1 piece, this doesn’t work - it says created temp Sonos network “ but my phone cannot find it to connect to. Have tried adding it to system via Ethernet network but when I try and access it it disappears from the system and needs readding - any suggestions ? 

Trying to connect a play one . I don’t have a cable. It just says device not found 

My Apple Music library playlist (rips of my CDs) came in as this gibberish mess. How do I fix it? The songs play fine but, I have a lot of playlists I would like to play. 

Group volume not synchronised so each speaker a pain to adjust to same level volume each time!  used to be able to zero main slider and realign all volume sliders that way but not working now! 

A pair of ONE speakers looses all sound when added to a group.I am streaming through WiiM box connected to line input on PORT. Grouping several components; couple of MOVE, PLAY1 etc. Normal operation. Until the two ONEs in the kitchen: no sound just some very low bass. Cross-check: the ONEs produce normal sound when streaming through Airplay or directly through services in the controller app, in single as well as in group.Can’t be any settings on the WiiM-box or PORT as sound level is normal on all other components.Suddenly, no recent changes. Other than a wifi password change couple of weeks ago that has turned out to be a pain. Sonos components are not able to handle a plain simple password change and had to reset the entire system several times.Yet another of those inscrutable Sonos issues? 

Sonos one not recognised by sky router but works fine with Ethernet cable. Microphone not illuminated.

Sonos Connect started to make  unstable stoppages during Spotify playbacks. I assume, it started roughly with the final software update... Please someone help!!!

I have this strange issues, that my Arc Ultra does not accept the Vol down command from my IR remote. It just won’t react.If I press Vol up, it reacts immediately (IR signal indicator and actually increasing the volume).After that, the Vol down button gets recognized, too. Almost as if the Arc Ultra’s IR receiver component goes in some kind of sleep mode and only gets woken up by the press of Vol Up.

Hello, hoping someone can assist. I have the Sonos Amp, 2 x in-wall speakers, 1 x Era 100 and 1 x FIVE. I use an RP1 turntable and stream music.I would like to add a pair of floor standing speakers. The ones I’m looking at are the Tekton Lore (8ohms).Is this possible? Any recommendations or thoughts? Thank you 

Can’t get speaker to produce sound. Not an issue of power or network. Other speaker works fine.why

I am trying to set up two Sonos Era 100 speakers using the new Sonos app (dark background), but both are showing the following error during the registration process:“There was a problem setting up. Our customer support team is ready to help.” I have already tried the following steps: Performed a full factory reset on both speakers (green flashing light). Restarted my router and mobile phone. Attempted to set up one speaker at a time. Confirmed that my phone is connected to the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. I’m using only the new Sonos app and have uninstalled the S1 app.  Unfortunately, none of these steps have solved the issue. The speakers still appear as “Not registered” in the app. I suspect they may be associated with another Sonos account or there may be a firmware issue. I kindly request: Support to unlock or manually register the speakers. Confirmation of whether there are any additional limitations I should be aware of.
