One of my era 300 is set up, it  works fine, the sound is ok, but the indicator light flashes very quickly (green and orange) randomly, also when this happens, it happens with a sound like a click when the color changes.

Here you can find the led’s meaning:

There is no flashing green AND orange, just flashing green (ready to set up when new or recently reset) or flashing orange (establishing connection).

When it flashes, does the speaker stop playing? It seems to me some kind of bad connection to your network. Is it a stereo pair or a surround rear setup?

Anyway, I would try to reboot system and router. If the problem persists try a factory reset and start from scratch. And if it doesn’t work, call Sonos support because they can diagnose your system remotely.

I'd skip the factory reset as it erases important diagnostic data.

Instead submit a diagnostic to Sonos and call support. Once they have the diagnostic data in-hand then they can have you do the reset.

Submit a diagnostic prior to a factory reset and take note of the reference. If the factory reset resolves the issue then great, otherwise if the led behaviour is the same after the factory reset, a new diagnostic will still evidence the reason, so no harm comes from the factory reset.

I have experienced exactly the same issue with one of my 300s.   So far factory reset appears to have solved the issue. Been interested the hear how yours has been resolved
