Connnecting Play 1 to system

After merging homes with my fiance and getting the system set up I am unable to add (2) S Play1’s she previously had.  I use the S1 controller app and currently have the following set up:

Main

Play 5

Play 3

Play 1

Would like to add the (2) Play1’s.  I keep getting a message they are not compatible with the S1 controller.  Is there a workaround?

Cheers

Were they set up to use the S2 controller at her place?

If so they need migrated back to S1 firmware before they will allow your S1 controller to connect. Or you could move your Sonos to S2.

That’s certainly odd, the PLAY:1 is certainly compatible with S1, although certain Ones are not. I’d probably try a factory reset of them, although you may want to call Sonos Support first to discuss it.

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.
