On the 21st December 2025 my surround sound One SLs stopped playing and in the app it did they could not be found. I reset them and re-added them and they both updated to 92.0-72090. They then would not add as surrounds to my Arc Ultra so I,reset this and re-added this. This also updated to 92.0-72090.

This version isn’t mentioned here - https://support.sonos.com/en-gb/article/release-notes-sonos-system-updates

Anyone know why this version is not mentioned and why I had to re-setup all 3 speakers?

I no longer regularly check that data, for exactly the reason you suggest, essentially they don’t update it as regularly as I like.

Normally, you should never have to reset all speakers. It sounds like you may have had a network issue. Normally these are easily resolved without the whole factory reset process, by simply unplugging your Sonos devices, then rebooting your router. Wait two minutes, then plug in you a Sonos devices again. Wait for another two minutes, then open the controller, it should connect just fine, and check and apply any updates, after which you should be fine.

So frustrating to see so many factory reset posts, seems like nobody believes the many posters here, or even Sonos Support when we advise folks not to do factory resets. Actually it may well be better than that since the folks that don't factory reset as the first step probably solve their issues and don't end up posting here.

There are a few specific situations where a factory reset is the solution but otherwise best avoided until after a support call.

Resetting all products within your system will permanently delete your system’s data. It cannot be restored.

We do not recommend resetting your Sonos product as a troubleshooting step.

Hi @MrRandom77

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

I am sorry to hear of the issue you had, though I don’t think it went down quite the way you believe.

As of this moment, your One SLs (and your Beam) are on 92.0-71170. Your Era 300 and Arc Ultra are on 92.0-72090, which is a separate service pack for certain products only. Your Play:1s are on the legacy branch 86.2-70230, as expected.

I think the separate branch for the Arc Ultra may have resolved the issue preventing your surrounds from bonding.

As for our Release Notes page, thank you for the feedback - we passed it along to the team and they wanted to express their thanks and have updated the page. They did not initially include the service pack on the page, but after everyone’s feedback, have decided to do this from now on with any future service packs. Thanks again for the feedback!

Please refrain from factory resetting devices unless specifically instructed to do so - it usually only makes more work for you.

I hope this helps.
