There is a seemingly related but frozen topic on this from a decade ago. Surprising this is still happening to people. This on a Macbook Pro M1 (16-inch, 2021), running Sonoma 14.4.1 (23E224)I have a shared folder containing all my music which is not an Apple Music / iTunes library. It has read access for everyone.I set in Privacy & Security > Full Disc Access: added Sonos and restarted it.It isn’t connecting, here is the error dialog:I’m not sure what username/password it’s complaining about. I’m giving it the admin credentials.

I've connected my Arc to my Samsung QE65Q70 via the Arc HDMI, but only have PCM audio (no Dolby or DTS surround) through the Arc when playing blu ray discs on my PS5. Other audio sources, such as Netflix, do have surround. Is my TV compatible and what settings should I use to get surround sound when playing blu ray ray discs? Thanks

Hello - hopefully a straightforward question. Is the ZP90 compatible with AirPlay 2? The reason I’m looking at one of these is to stream audio to my HiFi as it has both optical and coaxial audio out, where the Port is limited to coaxial only. Thank you

Sound goes on & off this started happening prior to an update of about a week ago. Nothing has changed with location of the Beam & SL Roam

I got my first Sonos today and when setting it up i I am having some problems with adding Google Assistant. I’m following the guide by Sonos, and when I’m on the page where you add music services or voice assistant, the only options to choose from under ”voice” is Alexa or Sonos voice control.Am i doing something wrong? I’ve looked trough the entire Sonos app, Google assistant and home app and have been googling for an hour now.

We would like to make it as easy as possible for guests to use the Sonos amp and speakers in their rooms to stream audio from their phones.  The best solution we’ve seen for this in other rental properties is VSSL, where the user simply connects to a bluetooth receiver with the corresponding room name and voila - their iphone audio is streaming through the in-wall / in ceiling speakers. Has anyone attempted to provide an alternate audio source for the TV audio in from their sonos amps, so that alternate sources can be used as the “TV Autoplay” feature in a local room, especially when no TV exists in that room?

Hello! Today, I upgraded my Beam to gen 2. My TV is 2022 LG oled. This means that i can now get surround sound on my switch. Great! Except, that I use PS5 and switch in the same HDMI port with a switcher, because I’m out of ports. I read that to get surround audio on my switch I set digital sound output on my TV to PCM and HDMI input audio format to PCM. My question is, will these same settings give me surround on PS5 or do I have to change the TV’s settings each time I change console? Obv, not the end of the world but it would be nice if I didn’t have to switch. Tagging in @GuitarSuperstar and anyone else who is kind enough to help me!

Is it just me, or has Sonos Radio “Rock Pantheon” disappeared?

Howdy!First my issue:TV Autoplay has a default behavior of setting the Arc volume to 10 if it is less than 10 when TV Autoplay triggers. I would like to have an option to either a) not have that default behavior happen or b) have that minimum 10 volume behavior also apply to grouped speakers.Or both, that’d be cool.Anywho, I have a full ARC setup with surrounds and subs in my living room. Works great. I mostly use it by chromecasting content to my TV. Usually I have all the sonos speakers in the common areas of my house grouped to the home theater. A lot of times I have the volume of all of the speakers set to 7 or 8 for background music (again, the source is my TV). When I come home or pick up where I left off and chromecast more content, TV Autoplay kicks in and sets my home theater to volume 10 while all the still grouped common room speakers are still on volume 6 or 7. Then I have to go open the app and fiddle with the volume to get them all equal again. Kind of a pain in the butt.

Sorry another Atmos plea for help.As per the title I have a Apple TV 4k (2nd gen), Arc (purchased 2021) and Samsung QE50Q60TAU, I’ve had this setup in place since the release of that Apple TV version. I’ve never had a problem with atmos when streaming, but in the last week or so, when I stream a show that has atmos audio I just get silence until I powercycle the TV and then the Arc picks up the format and I can watch the show. Swapping audio format (by going to the main menu) causes the problem with Atmos to happen again. So far I’ve tried:Turning everything off for 5 mins Updating TV firmware Unplugging the Arc HDMI and plugging it back in Perfoming a factory reset on the ArcI can confirm:The soundbar is plugged into the eArc port on the TV I’m using the HDMI cable supplied by Sonos Apple TV has Atmos enabled in settings Samsung is set to use eArc as the output format Samsung TV has Atmos enabled in settingsI’m out of ideas, can anyone recommend anything else I can try!?

I just got my 2nd Sub for my living room in addition to a pair of Era 300s to connect to my existing Arc, sub and Play 5 gen 2 set up for my living room - trouble is, the new sub and era 300s won’t connect to my existing wifi network which my other speakers are on. They play just fine as well. Thanks

My Arc, sub and both era 300’s are on surround sound and I can’t connect via Bluetooth I’ve followed Sonos instructions but still can’t connect. Any ideas please. Dennis Moderator edit: added Arc detail from user profile, and corrected Era 500 to Era 300

Recently moved an audio system to run off the sonos port. Have 7 in total. We have a playlist from apple music of around 350 songs (about 22 hours) and the sonos keeps stopping before the playlist ends. The sonos settings are on repeat and shuffle. I am at a loss to get this to keep playing. The goal is to have the music playing 24/7 streaming from the sonos. Checked in the apple music app and cannot find anything to set the list on repeat or change any settings like that. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Good morning,For 2 days the Sonos app has no longer worked on my Ipad Mini 2 (12.5.7). The Sonos logo appears then the app closes but remains active.Thank you for your reply

I have a Symfonisk (Gen2), brand new. I can set up the Symfonisk up in the app, however upon completion it states I may need to unplug and then replay the speaker for it to show in my system. It doesn’t show in the system. I have unplugged it for for varying lengths of time. I have tried on both an iPhone and android phone. I have tried resetting the Router/WAP. I have factory defaulted the speaker and reset it up with the same issues. The device is on the other side of the wall from the WAP.My router/WAP as well as the  ISP is AT&T , the network name has no spaces or special characters. My password has special characters. I have even take. The steps of assigning a static IP and when that didn’t resolve it, I even MAC filtered the device so it’s always allowed. I also adjusted the channels on both 2.4 and 5 to mitigate interference.I can set the speaker up just fine but then it vanishes the moment setup is complete. Any help would be appreciated. I remember Sonos being a pain in the

I have 4 Play 1’s, a Boost and a Connect. Wife and I both have iPhones with the app. Her phone has no problem connecting and using the speakers. My phone says it can't connect to the system. When I go to trouble shoot it says it says it see all of my units but when I go through the steps to reconnect, it says it can't connect. Tried uninstalling and re-installing the app. No good. I love my speakers but I have more issues like this over the last couple years than I care to remember. Anyone have any ideas why my phone would have problems and not my wife's? Any solutions for a fix?

I was able to connect my Ray to my Projector through the HDMI ARC. Sounds great but my surround sound speakers (two SL’s) are extremely muted and have a little lag when I bit my ear up to it. They work if I’m playing music through Sonos but when I’m playing something from my projector they cut out. Not sure what to do :/

I currently have a bunch of Sonos speakers connected to a Unifi network.  All of my speakers except one work completely fine, but this one specific One drops offline nightly and requires manually unplugging it. Any suggestions?

I am using the S1 app for my Sonos speakers.  Recently my voice enabled Sonos speakers are not working with Alexa.  I can control my speakers in the S1 app but not with Alexa. When I look at the Alexa app the voice enabled Sonos speakers are showing offline.I have disabled and re-enabled Sonos Skill in Alexa Alexa does not find any devices when I re-enabled Sonos skill in the Alexa app I have removed and added Alexa voice enable to each speaker I have powered off and on the speakersDid something change?

I just installed Sonos Amp with my speakers and a KEF HTB2 subwoofer.I see in the Sonos app I can set the phase to 0 or 180 - and I have a switch on the subwoofer that does the same thing - 0 or 180.I set them both to 0.My question is “why” do I have the same setting via Sonos app and a switch on the sub - and should they be set to the same setting - 0 in my case.

Hello,I’ve hooked up a Denon DP-300F turntable to an RCA → 3.5mm adapter, which in turn goes to the Sonos adapter into the Era 100.When I play a record, it seems as if there’s some strange summing going on that makes it sound out of phase. Almost like it’s playing only one of the L/R channels, but there is some weird EQing as well. If both RCA cables are going into the adapter, it’s very harsh and treble-y. If I remove one of the RCAs from the adapter, it sounds a little better - more bass and low-mids, but still missing vocals, etc.I’ve tried various cables, using the phono built-in eq vs. a preamp, even tried going from phono to bluetooth and connecting that to the speaker - all with the same results. However, when I hook up a different speaker to all of the same components, this doesn’t happen. If I hook up a pair of headphones where the Era 100 would be in the chain, everything seems fine.Every other use of the speaker works as expected.Any ideas?
