Good morning,
For 2 days the Sonos app has no longer worked on my Ipad Mini 2 (12.5.7). The Sonos logo appears then the app closes but remains active.

Exactly the same happening to my system hoping for a solution for us

We are seeing the exact same problem on an iPad running 12.5.7.  The app shows the splash screen and then closes out.  I’ve tried restarts and uninstalling/reinstalling the app.  Like you all, this just seemed to have started on 02/08/2024.

I believe you need ios14 minimum for Sonos v16. 

According to the supported OS for controllers FAQ, this is certainly correct.

Good morning,
I downgraded the S1 speaker and created another Sonos and installed the S1 controller on the Ipad. It works correctly

Would be nice if Sonos Would give us an update to know whats going on with this, as i refuse to spend money on a new Ipad when as far as i’m concerned my Ipad Air, is more than enough for what i use it for

 

Exactly my thoughts too, they are quick enough to send promotional things, looks like S1 is the way forward for us
