Hi,I have a beam & a couple of play:1’s running of a Hisense TV & its great, but watching TV especially catch up, I have to turn it up to 20+.Netflix would be about 8-10 maybe. Any ideas? I have done the unplug & turn everything off & reconnect. My app said Stereo PCM 2.0 for the beam at the time  Cheers

I am running SonosNet and has a Boost hardwired to my router. To my understanding, the Boost creates a mesh network (together with all the speakers - I have speakers in 4 rooms). In the most remote room, the connection is poor with some dropouts. Would yet another Boost half way between the remote room and the existing Boost help? The new Boost cannot be hardwired.

I tried opening up Sonos to play music from my Amazon Music Unlimited account today, but nothing will play.  I can see most of the music, including Amazon playlists, my artists, etc, but it won’t show my playlists or play any music, giving the “Requested operation failed.  Please try again.”  The music is playing on my phone through the Amazon Music app and I can play music via other sources, such as Pandora, through the Sonos app with no issues.  I have submitted a diagnostic report - 2135087960

We have our player attached to the bottom of out tv. It is in good working order. It seems as tho we have a hard time hearing people talking while watching tv in the evenings. Our playbar is set up in a huge room with 13 ft ceilings, hardwood floors and only leather furniture. It is open to our kitchen as well. Wondering what additional system would be good to add to get a better sound?

I have had intermittent problems with my Sonos system in the 4+ years I’ve had speakers, but a re-boot has always seemed to solve the issue.  However, when I tried to listen to Amazon Music today it simply won’t work, no matter what I’ve tried.  Re-booted, tried removing Amazon Music then adding again.  Other services (Pandora) seem to be working fine.  Please help!

I have 2 moves assuming I could use/pair them Both with Bluetooth. I have an I phone.Any plans to make this possible?

I have 8 Sonos players in my house (all Controller 2). Everything has been perfect for many months. However, things have been acting strange the last week or so. A couple of players will show in some controllers and not others. I can ask Alexa to play from that player, and it works without any interruption. The player will show up after reboot, but then drop off a few minutes later. I tried many reboots, then I did the nuclear option -- unplugged all 8 players, rebooted my router, plugged everything in one at a time. Even did a factory reset on a couple of the players that drop off the most. Same issue…I confirmed with my router (Unifi USG) that the players all have a reserved IP and their signal is > 95%. I’m using wireless all around. There is little noise in my area.Other strange on is that some controllers will show all, others will show all but one player, still others will show all but 2-3 players. All players will play fine if I ask Alexa to play, but I can’t use the controll

All, I got a new LG TV 65inch AI Thin Q 2020 and just connected my Sonos Beam speakers which worked well with an older version of LG TV we had. I am able to connect Sonos to TV using the app setup and simpInk is turned on. However, I don’t have any sound output from TV to Sonos speakers. I have followed all possible comments from the forum but without luck and it’s getting really frustrating. Does anyone have an idea why this is happening and what can I do to get the speakers working with my LG TV. Thanks.

I just recently set up a beam plus sub gen 3. It works great for music but when using the Beam as a TV speaker on our 2020 Samsung Frame, the sub does not seem to be doing anything. If you put you ear up next to it you can hear a faint electrical sound but no bass. This is only happening when using the setup for TV.  Any advice?

Keen to purchase a Move. It will be used indoors and then outdoors in the summer. I have an existing Sonos system working off a Boost. Will Move be able to connect to the Boost and be apart of my system. I was a little worried about this phase: <<The Move can connect to your router’s Wi-Fi network but not the separate wireless network created by a wired Sonos product.»I use WIFI all the time. Grateful for a comment from someone who has done this recently. Many thx

I have signed up for Amazon HD music, I read the SONOS article saying What is Amazon Music on Sonos? There are four tiers of access to Amazon Music on Sonos:Amazon Music Unlimited Amazon Music HD Prime Music Amazon Music LibraryOk..  sounds good - but when you add Amazon Music and select from the services it only shows Amazon Music. There is no distinction specifying the different services.Does the stream revert to what I have purchased “HD” automatically? Thanks

Hi, I own a sonos beam. On my iphone app i can see an available firmware update. When i try to update i get error 49.  I have tried first rebooting the beam and then also tried doing a factory reset. However, both did not work.  My sonos 2 app is latest - no pending app update.  Please advise.  Thanks Varun

I’m wanting to input audio into my Beam over HDMI, but not using HDMI ARC from my TV.   i intend to use the Beam in addition to my Sony AV receiver home cinema set up, so the TVs HDMI ARC is already in use.   I’ve connected the TV’s optical to the Beam using the adaptor, but the audio is out of sync with the receiver’s audio.  So, I want to feed audio into the Beam from the AV receiver’s 2nd HDMI output instead. Is that possible?   It could be that the audio sync issue is due to signal processing delays in the receiver, but won’t know for sure until I try it over HDMI. The audio delay is the reason why I got rid of the Sonos Connect, the audio was out of sync with the other Sonos speakers due to AV receiver signal processing delays.

My sonos speakers disappeared for the S2 app.At no stage in restarting the speakers did it ever say that I was going to lose my playlist and this is absolutely unacceptable. In my research just now I see that this is an ongoing issue since 2013. It is unacceptable that this isn't published and that I can't get my playlists back. In fact there is also no way of backing up playlist on Android. This is a big viability gap in your products and it seems you just choose not to address it. It seems as this issue is 5 years old that rather than  look after the substantial investment your clients making your systems you choose to ignore it. For what purpose ?. Don't get me wrong I love the Sonos sound system and it's quality and can recommended on that basis -  however this issue of continually losing playlists and favourites is a show stopper. The viability of your product is in question for me and many others. The product is not sold with the understanding the playlist , favourites cannot be s

Hi, I have a recurring (sometimes it happens, sometimes not) when trying to play my SONOS radio station in the android app or windows 10 app. I get the error message “unable to play the Radio station" while at the same time all other applications using internet work and I am still able to stream Spotify Music to my Sonos system. Rebooting router, phone or laptop does not resolve the issue. As it happens simultaneously at my phone and laptop while other streaming services still work, I'm quite sure the problem is on SONOS-side. Also, when I start the same radio station from Tune-In music service in the SONOS-app, it works! So the problem seems the be with the SONOS Radio Stations only….Somebody has any idea/ suggestions how to fix it?PS: I sent diagnostic report 499739099 to SONOS. Thanks,Marc

I have had 2 Play:1 speakers for a while and have been controlling them with an Echo Dot. I added a Sonos One and decided to move to all Google Home devices after reading Sonos finally integrated with Google.  I added the Google Assistant as a Voice Service in the Sonos app. The Sonos One now answers to ‘hey Google’ and all 3 of my Sonos speakers showed up in the Google Home app. I can get music to play from Amazon on any of my Sonos devices using the Sonos One or any Google Home device. However I cannot get music to play from Spotify (the default). It says ‘sure’ and ‘here you go’ but nothing happens. I called Sonos and was told there was currently a known issue but not seeing anything on https://status.sonos.com/ Anyone have any suggestions?

I have connected beam to HDMI arc on tv and have sky box  switched to dolby the lip sync s not right. I have tried solving this for hours but can't. What is the best set up to get dolby without the lip sync issue?

I am looking to add turntable to my existing SONOS system and am looking at the Audio Technica LP-120XUSB. I have a SONOS port that I will connect it to. I am looking for input from anyone that has the LP-120XUSB or the previous LP-120USB.

I’m just putting together a new home cinema set up - LG 65 OLED, Arc and my two old Sonos Ones as rear speakers (may add the sub later). The placement of the TV above the (inactive) fireplace means it’s quite difficult to get the Arc the recommended 4” below the bottom of the tv. The Arc is also placed just above head height as the is mounted atop the fireplace at about 120cm.Two questions really.. Is it really an issue if the gap between the Arc and TV is less than 4” and does it matter that the Arc is higher than sat down head height. Can i get away with both of these or is it going to cause an issue?

When I ask GA to increase volume indeed increases it. But only by 1%, which is not perceivable at all. So if I wanted to go from 20% to 30% I would need to ask it 10 times! This should be much more rapid, like 0% (muted), 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% or even 0, 5%, 10%, 20% etc. Similarly If I ask GA to “Set volume to 5”, it sets it to 5%, not 50%. Is it a recent bug, something that will get fixed soon or Sonos feature?

Will the Flexson stands designed for the Gen 2 Play:5 work with the new Sonos Five?

I have a beosound stage soundbar and want to hook it up to the Port but it only has a 3.5 mm input. Is this possible?

Hey folks! At home I use a Sonos device to play Spotify through. I sometimes use the Sonos app to start playback and search songs. This all worked fine, but now the right search results aren’t coming up through Spotify on the Sonos app. An example: I’m looking for Can’t Pretend by Tom Odell on my Spotify app and I get these results:  Now I’ll try the same through Sonos: and when using the artist as well: Things I’ve tried so far:- Reinstalling the Sonos app- Restarting the Sonos speaker and my phone- Using my laptop to search this track- Factory resetting the Sonos system Hopefully you guys have some other troubleshooting steps or can confirm that this issue! Thanks for taking a look,Huib 🙂

Hi, I have quite a considerable Sonos system and have just added an Arc to a TV in a new room. I am loving the Arc but want to use two in-ceiling mounted speakers as the rear speakers. These are currently connected to a 1st gen Amp so I cannot access these as rear speakers as the old Amp only appears in the S1 app and not the S2, where the Arc currently sits alone. So, I want to upgrade the old Amp to the latest model so I can add this to S2 and then hopefully connect these as the rear speaker pair. Before I spend the money, just making sure that this setup will work. Both the Arc and the Amp are connected over Wifi although both could be connected to my LAN over Etherent if need be as they are both in proximity of a switch. Thanks in advance for any help.Regards,

Has anybody set up a Sonos Arc with a projector and who can help guide me please?Do I need a specific projector to be able to fulfil the Dolby Atmos capability?Providing I have a projector with x2 HDMI ports; I think I am correct to believe that I need the projector to have eArc capability from one of the HDMI ports. In the absence of an eArc HDMI port; then I believe that an additional product such as the forthcoming HDFury Arcana may be required. https://www.trustedreviews.com/reviews/hdfury-arcanais the Arc suitable for occasional outdoor use or in an area with high ceilings such as a barn or will the sound and the premium Atmos capability simply be ‘lost’ upwards?Any insight / thoughts would be really helpful please. My wish is to want to use a projector plus the Sonos Arc, a Sub and two Sonos Ones.
