Hi, my Move fails to connect to my existing system, my system is quite old & still uses a bridge but still works ok generally. The setup routine finds my Move but hangs when the “accessory setup” button appears. Nothing further happens when this is pressed.

Hi, I’m trying to connect my Play 1 and One SL to my Beam for surround sound.  They are all WiFi enabled and powered on.  This is the sequence I’ve tried:System - (chose the room I want eg Living Room) - Set up Surrounds - Continue It them brings up a message saying : Two compatible Sonos speakers are required to add surrounds.  Make sure your products are powered on and connected to WiFiCan anyone suggest where I am going wrong :( Thanks

I have a very good self powered sub that I want to use.  I currently use Arc + Sub via optical splitter. However, I’d like to know a way to have the Sonos using EARC while the Sub uses optical. Any suggestions?   *** Thoughts on the Sonos Arc so far. Meh.  It’s not as good as what I heard from a Sonos one time in Best Buy.. (maybe playbar?)

Two questions   Does using the coax output on the port bypass the inbuilt DAC? Does the coax output resample everything to 24bit? If I’m streaming Apple Music will it be bit perfect?

When ever I ask to play music on the Arc via Google Assistant I get the response "I cannot do that here, but you can ask me to play it on one of your other devices."Out of several Sonos speakers that are GA enabled this is the only giving me this issue.I have removed and added GA many times.  I have done a complete reset on the Arc at least 3 times. The amount of issues with GA and Sonos speakers ever since going to S2 is getting beyond ridiculous now.  I'm just frustrated with dealing with these issues. When I get one fixed, soon there is another bug. Any ideas what to try next?

Starting a new Sonos system with all new Sonos 2 equipment. Got and connected two Move speakers to my home network. Two days later I received a Boost and connected it to my Orbi router with an ethernet cable. I expected the Moves would “see” and connect to the new Sonos network automatically. Didn’t happen. The Moves work on what shows as the home network, no mention of a Sonos network, but I don’t trust that will continue. I had a lot of drop out issues with an older Sonos system until I ethernet connected one of the components to the router and set up a dedicated Sonos network. After that, all was fine. The IP addresses for all three are the same with the exception of the last two digits. The Boost is WM:0, the two Moves are WM:1. Is this as it should be?I have more Sonos 2 product on order and want to get this worked out before tackling the rest of it.

I can’t get Alexa work with my Sonos Amp. Any help on how I can link then?

Hello,  new to Sonos and modern hi-fi generally. Looking to up my game from portable Bluetooth speakers. I purchased the 5s and the sub. Considering buying a high res mp3, specifically FiiO M6. Wondering if it is compatible with my system and how to connect, and will I have highest quality music on stereo. Thanks, realize this is basic but I'm old. Tk

Hello, I am looking to buy my husband a system for Christmas but need some help picking out the pieces needed. We currently have two mounted outdoor speakers and a sound bar by two different brands and I want to replace them with a sonos system. I want the speakers and sound bar to be able to connect to one another and play the same tunes. I was planning on ordering the outdoor speaker pair and the multi room entertainment set with Arc and Move. Will all that work together as I expect? Is there anything else I need? Or is there a better product for my needs? thanks!

I have a spare Playbar, if I give it to my daughter to connect to her TV, will she need an amp or some sort of base station for it, or will it work on its own?

Hi all! I have a Q85T and a PS5. I asked Sonos what settings to use and they said “Linear PCM on PS5 and Passthrough on TV” - when I do this, the output is Stereo 2.0. If I change the PS5 to ‘Dolby Bitstream” I get “Dolby Digital 5.1” but NOT “multichannel LPCM 5.1” output… do Samsung need to release an update to fix the TV or what is happening? Sorry I asked this elsewhere but maybe it should have been in here?

I have added an additional album to my music collection and after many updates this is still not showing in my system.I have less than 3000 tracks in the library so space should not be an issueI have checked the metadata and this looks to be correctI am using both Windows 10 and Android 10 for the update processThe music library is stored on a NAS drive and only this album is missingAre there any error logs generated by the system that I can view that may throw any light on the problem? Thanks

Just bought a Beam.  Looking at photos on line,  I see two passive radiators on the front.  Where is the third one? Thanks people.

Hello, I have a playbase plus 2 play 5s setup as home cinema.the playbase doesn’t connect to the wifi anymore, works with lan cable but disconnects straight when I take the cable out. I’ve sent a diagnostic report.  cheers, rogier

Hi. I have just added a Sonos Move to my system which just has 2 play ones linked in stereo.I can play both the move and the play 1’s separately but as some as I turn on the move the play 1’s are no longer visible in the app.  Any suggestions on what I need to doThanks

Hello, The only non-S2 compatible component in my system is connect. I recently upgraded the rest of my speakers. However, I do not see any discount for S2 substitutes  like amp or port when i chek online. Am i wrong assuming I am eligible for discounts? Also, I am from Turkey. Do you post Products there? Regards,

I have a pair of One SL’s, one in the kitchen, one in the living room. I cannot figure out how to have them play the same thing unless I pair them as stereo sound, which is great and works well, but what if I want to have them both play both channels, making the living room and the kitchen a “group”? I can’t find a play “everywhere” option either. Thanks!

I have a AMC CVT3030 amplifier, it is possible to connect it to the Sonos Port?

Hello With the new sonos legacy mode that stops certain Sonos devices from being bricked, is the CR100 going to be added to this list? It was permanently bricked in April 2018 and not much has happened since. Can you PLEASE add this device to the supported devices for legacy mode?

Hi all.  I accidently chose to upgrade one of my play:1’s.   Does this affect anything in anyway? Can I still update it and use it?

so i swapped out my bt homehub 5a with OpenWRT for a draytek 2762ac, i enabled 5G and 2.4G, on the 2.4G channels i kept the SSID the same name, i kept the password the same.i messed about for ages trying to move it to the new wifi, i reset it, reset the app, many times, each time it connects and tells me that its all setup but then never shows in the appi see it has a DHCP IP address, my phone is on the same network during the setup etc.any ideas ? i spoke with support chat they told me to remove band steerring etc, enable upnp (nope) and a few other things that the router seemed to have set already but the weird thing is that it seems connected as i see it in the arp table and dhcp table but the app never sees it, the app (IOS) has full network access.i am lucky in that i can connect it via an ethernet cable but even though i can im not sure why it would suddenly stop working on wifi

I own a Playbase, Soundbar, Sonos One, three Play:1, two Connects and I live in a 1,500 SF house with an Eero mesh network. I struggle all the time to have them work. I spent two hours yesterday had them all connected and then unplugged a Play:1 to move it; plugged it back in a three speakers dropped. This morning I only have two showing up again. I go through the “Find as missing product” and push the Play + Plus and it’ll flash orange until the “Searching for Product” finishes and then the blinking orange goes Solid white and the prompt is asking for Flashing Orange. I try connecting The speaker I work mainly through my phone for setups. I hook a speaker straight to the router and it won’t notice it (them). I try Altenrnative Set Ups as directed, nothing. I try the set up a Sonos WiFi when prompted to do so and it doesn’t appear in my Networks. I try a complete reset not the speakers and it’ll see the speaker but won’t allow it to set up; says it can’t connect. I’m so frustrated; I’v

I am running a moderately-sized local lbirary on my local PC.  This is the same PC that my Sonos controller is on.  I’ve added the Music directory.  Some of the tracks show up in the Sonos Music Library and some do not. I’ve checked that the missing tracks are:In the right directory MP3s Have proper metadata Have short file namesAny other reason why some albums are found and others are not?

Hi,Currently I have 1 x Sonos Play 1 speaker but might be looking to add to that in other rooms.I also have an old CD / Cassette / Radio stereo which is on it’s last legs. Can anyone please tell me if any of the Sonos speakers / products have a BUILT-IN CD player?I don't want to buy loads of kit to play my CDs and if Sonos can’t provide a single bit of equipment I will probably buy something else. I also want it to be as small as possible to fit on a window sill!Any advice gratefully received. Thanks you.

Hi everyone,I just bought a Port to connect my Pro-ject Debut Recordmaster with built-in amp to my Sonos ecosystem (I have 2 Ones and a Beam). Everything seems to be working BUT the volume is ridiculously low. I’ve set the volume of the Port to level 10 in the app (at the suggestion of the store where I bought it), and then at it’s loudest and it’s still very very modest. No such problems when I play digital, Spotify or use my TV. I spent 800 bucks on both the Port and TT in order to play my vinyl collection but the result is subpar - what am I doing wrong???
