Hi all, I installed my new Sonos One and One SL in the app (S2). But the app shows just one at the time (at products), so I can’t pair them. In Spotify I can choose one or the other as a device, but I can’t play them at the same time.If I disconnect one of the two and (re-)install the other, then that one will show up. But the other doesn’t appear anymore.Things I’ve tried so far (multiple times):Reinstall both speakers (short + long reset) Restart modem Reinstall the app Log out/inHopefully there’s someone who can help me, cause this is very frustrating.

Hi,All of the sudden my system doesn’t work without being connected by eithernet cable. I have gone thru the process of adding my wifi network again and then the system says I can disconnect the ethernet cable from the product but when I do the system disappears / disconnects from my iPhone app and says “unable to connect to Sonos” . when I reconnect the ethernet cable the system comes back. everything has been working fine for years. All products are OS S2 - any suggestions please? Thanks. Trev

I have just bought a sonos one sl to link with my beam whilst I appreciate I wont get the best stereo sound it doesn't seem to pair with the beam sound from the tv . Am I doing something wrong or do I have to purchase another sonos one sl to make it all work

Hi,I have reseted the device in order to connect it to a new system setup. The s2 app recognize the device but is unable to join network. When I try to connect it using an Ethernet cable it works smoothly. I have 4 other devices in the same location that were connected wirelessly so it is not an app or router issue, I also restarted my router just in case. Does anyone has an idea?I've try to run diagnostic but the only thing I could do is submit diagnostic to the customer support. Thanks a lot,Eyal

Hi I know there was a Sonos update pushed around 11-11-20.  Also upgraded to iOS14.  Now I don’t see my Sonos speakers at all when using Apple Music app and trying to Airplay2 to the various speaker sets.  The Apple TV’s I have do show up in the Airplay 2 list.  Just my 4 different Sonos rooms don’t show.  Anyone have any ideas?  Thanks.  I was under the impression this was the preferred way to do things for music that was on your phone.   Note to Mods- I started a thread in questions but didn’t have Airplay in the title so this is probably the better thread.  I didn’t see how to edit the other one.

Hi everyone, apologize for the basic question, new to this.  I have the Sonos arc, 4 inch ceiling Bose speakers, and two Sonos amps. (The new black ones) -plus the sub.  question 1. do I need one amp or two speakers in this set up? That’s how I have it set up now but I can’t figure out how to make them both surroundsound, or if I even should do that. question 2.I’ve also seen articles where people are using one amp for all four speakers. Is this what you suggest I do? And then set that one set of four up as surround?Other tips? thanks!!john

How do I remove duplicate tracks from a Sonos Playlist? The last answer to this question is from 2013 and no longer works. Thanks.

We have 6 Sonos speakers: Three Play: Ones and three Sonos Ones. Using S2 app.  3 of the speakers work. 3 say they need to be updated but we get stuck in error 30. We have tried:deleting and reinstalling the appturning them off and onrebooting the routerplugging them directly into the routerFactory resetting them all We spoke with Sonos support for an hour today and got nowhere because they kept telling us to repeat the steps we’ve already done.  We feel like we are stuck with really expensive doorstops.  Please help before I throw them all away. I would return them to Costco, but the only 3 that work came from there.

I recently purchased a new Samsung (2020) Q80T (Q8DT- Costco) Series - 4K UHD QLED LCD TV and also purchased the Sonos Arc. I have connected the Sonos Arc via HDMI to the back of the TV (HDMI-3 (eARC-Port)).    In the Expert Sound Settings on the Samsung TV I have enabled: HDMI-eARC Mode to Auto** Digital Output Audio Format to Auto Dolby Atmos Compatibility (selected and on)   I then go to Disney+, Apple TV+ or Amazon Prime on the native apps provided on the Samsung TV and chose a movie with Dolby Atmos listed in details. Once the movie plays I go to the “about my system” on the new Sonos S2 app and select the Sonos Arc to verify the audio output codec. **It displays the Audio In as Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 when HDMI e-ARC is set to “OFF” in the Samsung TV Expert Sound Settings and Dolby Multi Channel PCM 5.1 when HDMI e-ARC is set to “AUTO”. I do not have the Netflix UHD 4k plan at this time so I have not trialed this with Netflix.    I have never been able to get the Sonos Ar

I have an old but very reliable Pionner SX-750 receiver. I recently purchased a PORT hoping to listen to my vinyl LP’s etc on my Sonos speakers but have had no luck. My receiver does not have a digital out. It has a phono in, aux in, two separate tape Rec/Play. I can’t seem to find a way to send the phono in to the in of the PORT. Does anyone have any ideas or should I send the unit back? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

How do I connect my new Sonos five to my living room setup when I already have a play base, 2 play 1’s and a sub?

I'm pretty sure I have the Beam connected to the HDMI ARC port and I am still unable to turn the TV on or off using voice commands.

Hi. Totally new SONOS user who has not really got to grips with the power of the system yet. I am used to individual speaker Bluetooth use only, so SONOS is a huge step up for me.I have recently purchased a BEAM and love it. I want to add to my Sonos setup. Not sure where best to go next. I am not really interested in 5.1 surround sound.Looking at the deals on line, I was either thinking of buying 2 x ONE, or, 1 x ONE and 1 x MOVE. Our outdoor area has power, so we don’t need the battery speaker (MOVE)  as we could plug in the ONE’s.So basically, to add to my BEAM, should I purchase 2 x ONE, or, 1 x ONE and 1 x MOVE.One thing I would like, if possible, is when using the TV, to have the TV audio coming out of additional speakers. Is this possible with either of the above options? Thanks in advance.

Hi AllHas anyone else noticed lately that Spotify connect is very hit and miss? I’d say over the last month or so my system hardly ever shows in Spotify. However what I have noticed is if I change Wifi networks from 2.5ghz to 5Ghz or visa versa(different SSID names). They all seem to suddenly appear, then a few hours later they’re gone again. The only difference with my system in this period is the addition of a google tv chromecast which always seems to show in Spotify.  Any ideas if this could be the cause? Thanks! Ryan

Hi all, Is there a way to change the Sonos Move wake word?I’m using the S2 app and I can’t seem to find the setting.  Thanks for any replies.Steve

Is it possible to change the word from alexa to wake up the move?

I already had the sonos arc+ sub(gen3) connected to my TV. And it works fine. I just wanted the little extra experience of the all surround. I bought 2 sonos One.When i added these to the app, and tried to put them in the same room as the arc and sub. the app created an additional room for it with a number 2 (tvroom2). The app also says it cannot find two compatible sonos speakers if i try to set up surround. they are powered on and connected to the wifi.  I am able to connect my sub to the sonos one speakers, but not the sonos arc for some reason. Any suggestions?

I purchased a Sonos Boost many years ago, I believe for my Playbar and Sonos Sub at the time, as I believe it was needed to run it together. Unfortunately, I couldn’t keep the sub and had to return it but still have the Boost for some reason. Is the Boost still relevant for anything?

I am struggling to connect my sonos to my WD cloud mirrror which is on a home network to link my music library again. . It used to work before the app was changed, I get an error code 900. Tried them help line but it only works from 09:00 - 17:00 no good to me as I work the same hours. Can anyone assist. I have also tried downloading the app onto a computer and through this have been able to point direclty to the required file but still no joy. Any help would be greatefully recieved. Thanks John21

Hi,Is there any way to play my fire stick 4K content on my Sonos One SL?Thank you.

I have two connects, one Gen2, in the same room. One is connected to a turntable and sound system. The other is connected to a Ruark system as speakers. Is there a way of linking them together in a similar way as a stereo pair?

I recently bought a Sonos Beam at Costco and was wondering if this is Dual voltage (AC100-240V)? I travel and would like to be able to use this in Singapore where they use 220V. It would be great if someone actually bought this in the uS and brought it to either Europe or Asia also give some feedback.  Thanks

I currently have a Playbar, Play:1’s and Sonos Sub in my living room. I have a larger living room and I’m not getting the level of sub sounds I want, even with the Sonos sub turned up. Can I add the new Sonos Amp to my existing setup with just a 3rd party sub for additional sub sound?

Does the Sonos beam count as a “hub” so i can connect it to my tv etc?

Hi All - looking to hook up TV to the SONOS Amp, wired to pair of B&W speakers. Can I use that same Amp to connect to a turntable….? Thanks for any advice
