I have two connects, one Gen2, in the same room. One is connected to a turntable and sound system. The other is connected to a Ruark system as speakers. Is there a way of linking them together in a similar way as a stereo pair?

A ‘stereo pair’ makes no sense for these devices. You wouldn’t play the left channel from one Connect and right from the other, which is what happens when two speakers are bonded in a pair.
Assuming they’re part of the same system you can play the Line-In from one to the other. You can also configure Autoplay to make this happen automatically.
You can group them together, so they play the same source in sync.
