I’m looking to have sound from my Samsung Frame TV play through my existing Sonos network of speakers (a paired set of Play 1’s and a subwoofer that I’ve got connected through a Connect:Amp). If I get a Beam and have it connected to my TV - can I have it also ‘grouped’ with my existing ‘Family Room’ group (Play 1s + Sub)?

My router has a Primary Network and a Guest Network.  My Sonos system is on the Primary Network.  Is it possible to setup Sonos to be on BOTH my Primary and my Guest network?

Hi all,I’m currently running 2 sonos one’s and a sonos sub gen3. What I’m trying to do is understand the options for connecting my turntableFrom what I can found, the Sub is not compatible with the Port. Does this also hold true when only using the line-in of the Port? What other options would be available for adding a turntable into this setup? Do you need a Sonos 5 for this?

I have quite an open room with 20ft ceilings.  I was debating getting the Arc, but am a little concerned I won't get near the maximum use out of it.  If I put the bar beneath the TV or on the media cabinet there are shelves on the left and right blocking left/right facing speakers.  And the ceiling is so tall that I think the upward facing speakers wouldn't be useful.  Is it a terrible idea to consider putting the speaker above the TV with a slight angle down?  Or maybe the Arc just isn't the right idea for my room? Thanks!

I have several Sonos products, and have just purchased a Playbar. I have connected my Playbar to my TV, and have two Play:1 speakers in the room behind the couch. When I try to ‘Set Up Surrounds’ to my Playbar, it keeps asking me if I want to add my Sonos Amp, which is in use in another part of the house. What do I need to do to get the Playbar and Play:1s to work together.I have tried everything; resetting, powering down Sonos Amp, and reinstalling the Playbar, with no success. Any help is appreciated.

I have 3 speakers, two Play:5 gen2 and one Play:5 gen1 and have been using them with the Sonos S1 app. The gen2 speakers are placed in the same room and configured as a stereo pair.I have decided to “split” my system to allow the gen2 speakers to be controlled by the S2 app.So, following the instructions, I first removed the gen1 speaker from the system using the S1 controller, I then “upgraded the S1 app to S2 (all system settings should then stay as before), but when I started the S2 app the stereo pair showed as Vardagsrum (V+?) (translated = Livingroom (L+?) ) and only the left speaker was still connected and able to play sound.I have unplugged the gen1 speaker from power to avoid any interference.I first tried to add the lost speaker (S2 app on iPhone iOS 14.2 and Bluetooth) but the app was not able to detect the speaker. According to the instructions given by the app (when speaker cannot be found) the speaker has to be reset if it has been used/installed in another system before,

Am I able to utilize a Port with a previouslypurchased Sony HT-ST7 soundbar?

Non-techie/ technophobe here! What are the latest software version for the S2 app please?Same for my S1's and Sub please?

I’m setting up my 1st iPort XPress. I get it connected to my Wifi. The next step is “Choose your Sonos”. I get the error “No Sonos players found”. I can then switch over to my Sonos app and see all of my Sonos components.    Any ideas?

Hi, I have 7 speakers : 2 Play:1 standalone, 1 Play:3, 1 One and 1 Beam + Play:1 surround. The Beam is wired and all others are on WiFi. I use a router Asus Rt-ac68u on which my hard drive with local library is plugged. Everything worked fine until about a month ago. Now speakers are often randomly disconnecting during seconds or minutes and coming back all of a sudden. That does it with both local library, Spotify or if I play music from my phone. When it disconnects I can still see the speaker in the app but no sound is coming out of it. It also does it on WiFi and on the Beam which is wired to the router. I tried forgetting my sound system and reset all speaker, no help. I tried resetting the router, no help. I tried unplug the Beam wire and use wi-fi instead, no help. I tried assigning fixed IP to all speakers, it's a bit better but still happening (though a bit less often). Do you have any idea how to solve this issue ?Thank for your help.

Hello, I have 2 sonos 5 speakers I run it a macbook as well as a app on an Iphone having a tough time reconnecting after updating my router and changing the PW. Both apps can't find the network and there are few if any options to get past this loop. It took forever to find a way out of this after updating to S2. Hoping for options to get out of this situation, thanks

I’ve set my play bar sub an two play1s up in my living room as a surround sound theatre set up. My wife was listening to music streaming in living room when all speakers stopped playing. I’ve discovered that my playbar has no power. I’ve checked lead power supply etc. And it seems my playbar 1st generation has given up on me. I’ve had this set up for 4+ years an I’m absolutely gutted. Is there anywhere I can take it to get repaired or claim from my home insurance or will I just have to replace? Has anyone else had such issues?

I have several Sonos speakers & a Connect Gen 2 connected to a Bose speaker. I have the Sonos app on my iPad & iPhone & on my Mac. I am able to control all the speakers perfectly using any of these 3 devices, but does anybody know how I can get the music to also play on my Mac speakers when using the Sonos Mac app? Is this possible at all?  Many thanks, Ross

Hi everyone I’ve been having problems getting my Sonos Beam to play anything other than stereo 2.0 via my Panasonic TV. I’ve been on many forums and have accepted that the issue is due to the age of my tv (>5 y). I’m in the market for a new tv and have been looking at the Samsung UE55TU7100. Anyone know of this supports the Beam or will I have further issues.  many thanks in advance.

Running the latest app version (12.2.1) and iOS 14.2 on an iPhone X, Sonos app won’t connect to my 2 Sonos Ones. However my iPad running the Sonos app version 12.1.2 works perfectly fine. I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling from my iPhone as well as resetting the router and unplugging the Sonos devices. Still getting the “Unable to connect to Sonos” error message on my phone app and unsure how to fix it. Any help is appreciated!

We recently purchased Beam to be used with a Sony Bravia KD49XH8505 (2020) which we purchased around 8 weeks. The Beam is connect via ARC.We have 3 main sound issues as follows:Sometimes, when we turn the TV on to watch Sky via HDM1, we get no sound via the Sonos Beam. If we go into the sound settings and change the output from Auto1 to Auto2, the sound starts working again. Within a day or so the same issue normally re-occurs, so we go back into the sound settings and change the output from Auto 2 back to Auto 1 and the sound starts working again. Randomly, when we press the Netflix button on the remote, Netflix starts, but there is no sound. If we clear the Netflix app cache it starts working again, sometimes we have to remove power to the TV and restart it to solve the issue. Occasionally, when we turn the TV on the sound is garbled through, if we restart the TV this seems to resolve it.Has anyone else experienced the same or similar issues with Sony TV’s? Is it likely to be an issu

Hi, I’m new to the Sonos ecosystem 1 x playbar2 x sonos one’s (with akexa)So far I’m loving the compatibility but I’m unsure how AirPlay works when my speakers are connected to the dedicated 2.4ghz network and my phone is connected to the 5ghz network? Both networks are completely independent [xxx(2.4) & xxx(5)] so they are distinguishable. Whilst this is the case I’m still able to AirPlay without an issue. So I’m wondering how my phone is picking up the speakers to AirPlay when they are on two completely different networks? it goes against my understanding of wifi networks and internet security?Hence my question.

Up to yesterday I was able to connect to a pair of Sonos One via Airplay/Wifi (same network) from my AppleTV 4K and used the Ones as Speakers for movie sound - worked fine.Since of today, the Sonos speakers are not visible any more in AppleTV's "audio and sound" setting. As I have in total 4 Wifi Access Points in the house, I played with them too. The Sonos connects to one, the AppleTV to another. However, all devices are in the same subnet.I can stream to the Sonos speakers from other Apple devices in the Network via AirPlay without problems.Any idea? How can I check what could be wrong?

Hi,I have an older TV with only two HDMI inputs. One is used-up with the internet connection. The other is for Apple play. How can I hook-up an Arc to my TV?cheers,General

Is every station you listen to on Sonos HD radio streamed in HD or just a few stations?

Ive searched and searched but can't seem to find a definitive answer - really could use some expertise from the community.  Products in scope for my question:   6 Sonos Amps - One is connect to in ceiling speakers that will be my rear/surround speakers 1 Sonos Arc 1 AppleTV 1 75” Samsung Frame TV (has an HDMI ARC port)   I need guidance on how to connect all these devices to get Dolby Atmos and ideally still use my AppleTV remote.     I think I need to connect the Sonos Arc via HDMI to my TVs HDMI ARC port.  But this is where I get confused.  Do I connect my AppleTV to the Sonos Amp or to another HDMI port on my TV?  Connecting to Amp seems logical (otherwise how would the TV/Amp know what sound to produce?     Sorry if this has been covered in another thread but I can't seem to find one with my exact product set. THANKS

I would like to buy two Sonos Play:1 white speakers

I have a single Port that I use to listen to either a CD player or vinyl LP turn table. Right now I need to switch the input feeds to whichever device I want to listen to.  Is there a Sonos compatible switch box I can purchase?

I just enrolled in the Sonos Radio HD free trial last night, but nothing seems to have changed on my app.  When I go to Sonos Radio in the “browse” section, I still get a box asking me if I want to learn more about Sonos Radio HD.  Should I be seeing a separate entry on the app for the HD version, or is it just integrated into the Sonos Radio button that is already there?

My brother gave me his Sonos Connect (model S15) that he wasn’t using so I could connect my outdoor pair of Bose Free Space 51s.  I connected the Sonos Connect to my Sonos Boost via Ethernet cable, then bought a pair of male RCA to speaker wire adapters, connected them to 14 AWG (4 conductors) speaker wire and ran it out and connected my Bose speakers. The problem I am having is barely any sound out of my speakers.  Literally have to put your ear up to the speakers to hear them on 100% Sonos Connect volume via the Sonos App.  Do I need an amp, a Sonos Amp, or something else in this setup for the speakers to work?  If so, can anyone recommend something inexpensive for me to purchase online?Or is it possible I have bad equipment, e.g. not the correct speaker wire or RCA to speaker wire connectors?FYI I’m on S2, and have several play 3 and play 5s running via my Sonos Boost inside my house.  All are wireless except one play 3 connected via Ethernet cable into my Connect. Thanks in advance,
