Hi, Alexa will play requested music ok through my sonos 3, but when i ask her to play a radio station it will only come through my Echo dot.........any ideas how to keep through the Sonos? Thanks

Trying to update on a Mac, I got error code 1100, telling me to uninstall and re-download. I uninstalled, but when I went to the link and tried to download, all I got were "release notes," and no download.

Since the last update the android mobile devices that previously connected to SonosNet cant see the network in the list of available WiFi SSIDs. Also the option in Advanced setting that allows you the option to connect to SonosNet has disappeared. All my devices and the controller are showing 10.2 as the version. My phone updated 17 hours and that ties in with the connection disappearing.

I have several Sonos Play1, Sonos Connect and recently got a Sonos One. Voice command works just fine to play music throughout all rooms. Requires to be close to Sonos One, and have all speakers grouped. Added a Alexa Dot in the bed room, thinking I could add the Alexa Tab to the system and control the Sonos Players also from the Dot. The charm would have been to start music in one room, and basically go to bed and command Sonos/Alexa from there. Is that possible? That would be awesome

Trying to use a new LG OLED TV that uses Dolby Atmos with my new Sonos Amp to set up a surround environment using two wired speakers as fronts, two Play:1s as rears, and a phantom center channel. But I read that ARC HDMI on the LG TV won't support Dolby Atmos. Anyone out there know if this will work?

set up beam, works with everything, apple tv, smart tv netflix ect, cant get sound from DTV box. checked audio setting on dtv box, tv, beam, no luck, get beautiful pic...no sound, tried otic to HDMI swapped hdmi cables and inputs on tv still no sound. can anyone help? thanks

I received the Vinyl Pro Set ordered from the Sonos website as a wedding gift. The box I received contains two Play 5 speakers and a Pro-Ject Essential III Phono turntable. I cannot seem to connect the turntable to Bluetooth so I can stream my records. The instructions for the turntable are no help. Please let me know what I need to do. Thanks so much for the help.

Sonos suddenly went offline overnight (possibly during power outage) and I cannot get back online. Have unplugged both router and the beam. Should be able to resolve this, any suggestions.

Hi, My husband and I have separate paid google play accounts (with our own preferences in each). We've recently updated the sonos app and are having difficulties to set up two sonos accounts to be used on our home system (one playbar and several play 1 around the house). Further on, once google assistant is available in Poland (it's not available for us over here yet!), will it be able to recognize our different google accounts? Any advice on how to set up multiple sonos accounts on the same sonos system? We don't want to mix our music preferences / configs under the same sonos account. Thanks!

Hi guys, I just purchased a Klipsch home theater system and I am hoping to also connect speakers in other rooms to the system as a separate zone setup for wireless. I was planning to try to run wires through the condo, but it's a pain, so I was considering getting the rocketfish wireless unit just to connect to my Onkyo's zone 2 and 3 outputs. I've recently come across the Sonos and I am wondering if it can help me achieve the same thing with better quality and also I hope you can help me figure out the most cost-effective way to do this (do I need to get a Sonos connect:amp for everything? What else do I need to get everything going?). The background: I purchased a Klipsch reference bundle, but ended up getting the reference premier set as well. Now I will be selling the reference subwoofer and center speaker and the yamaha receiver that came with the reference bundle, but keeping everything else. I am trying to connect my Visio TV to my Sonos connect through the RCA inputs on the Sonos connect. Does someone have detailed instructions on how to set it up. I currently have my iPad streaming through the Connect with no issue. Just can’t figure out how to tell it to change to the RCA inputs Thanks, Drew

Everyone-- Hello. I've recently bought Sonos speakers for our living room setup (Playbase, Sub and Play:1's). When I'm listening to Music through the speakers, everything sounds great. However, when I listen to anything which is routed through my TV (Cable or AppleTV). There is some random cutting in and out of the sound. It still somewhat plays, but gets very quiet and then will go back to normal sound or will sound like it loses the surround sound aspect of it. Here is my setup. Samsung TV - UN65MU8000FXZA - Digital Audio cable from TV to Sonos TimeWarner Cable Box - Connected to TV via HDMI cable Apple TV - Connected to TV via HDMI cable Is there any fix for this? Have an epson 2150 hooked to a sonos 5. The sound comes through and also can be grouped with other sonos speakers. The sound however is several seconds behind the video (very annoying for watching movies). When the sound comes through the projector it is synced. Is there a setting in either the Epson, sonos or perhaps both that adjust this audio lag? Thanks Glenn Bonagura

We have been hearing for over a year now regarding the Google Assistant integration. When is this going to happen? The Alexa assistance is horrible.

One of my Android controllers upgraded itself to 10.2 today (despite NOT having auto update enabled) and lost connectivity. A few days ago this controller, which I stress did NOT have auto update enabled started to update its software from 10.0 and I managed to prevent this. Initially, I wasn't too bothered since sonos touted their update as 'performance and reliability improvements' and didn't think any issue would ensue. Generally I do like to run updates. In order to keep things level and have a hope of keeping my devices with the same version (i.e functional) I updated my other controllers. 10.2 I later found has prevented access of my wireless controllers to sonosnet. So, now, when I'm stood next to a wired player, which is a considerable physical distance from my router I now have to walk with my phone (or other wireless controller) so that I'm within connectivity distance to my router's reception so that I can control the features of the device that I was stood next to. One of my Sonos 3 speakers was lost from my system and I can't reconnect it. My daughter was running it from the app on her iPhone, but I use the Sonos controller. The speaker is no longer listed in my rooms. Tried everything. I sent in a diagnostic, conf # 101785643 that you can check. Any suggestions? Rick

After the outage earlier today I finally have everything working and I couldn't be happier (I can play, pause and change volume on my old Play 3s with my voice which is all I wanted for two years now). But it's a little unfortunate that in a room with (1) a Google home and (2) a sonos speaker, I still have to append "on the kitchen Sonos" to my requests to begin playing music (otherwise the music plays on the answering Google device). The Google home app lets you configure what the default device is for playing music, and it lists not only my various Google speakers but also my vizio TVs on the network, etc., but it strangely doesn't list my sonos speakers. Is there a way to make this happen?

My TV is a dinosaur, no optical, two HDMI, NOT ARC, etc. Can I connect my Beam to my receiver as a workaround for an old TV? If that doesn't work, is the next best option using a HDMI Arc converter? Thanks

i have a ONE speaker connecting my laptops around the rooms. I find i cannot play the audio from TV with the speaker. because i am thinking to buy the beam, i would like to check if i can use them paired for these purposes: -playing music from laptop with ONE/beam/ONE+beam -playing videos from TV with audio output with ONE/beam/ONE+beam thanks

I have two Sonos systems, in different locations, each with an Echo Dot on the same WIFI. I have one Amazon account to access Alexa. How can I setup Alexa to work with both systems? Setting up one system goes as expected, and I choose which of the two systems I want to connect. The choice of system is a radio button, and I cannot choose both systems. When I try to setup the second system, Alexa cannot find any Sonos speakers, using the add devices feature of the Alexa app. If I disable the Sonos Alexa skill and reenable it, I am able to connect to the second Sonos system (again, by choosing it), but now cannot connect to the first. Is it possible to use Alexa with two different Sonos system?
