How do you get the wall mounts for the Sonos OneSL speakers to swivel?

I have three iOS devices that I use (or used to use) the Sonos app on.An old iPad running 10.3.4 (highest it’ll go to)An iPhone 6s running 12.4.7and an iPhone 5 running 10.3.4 (highest it’ll go to)All were quite happily working the speakers, the iPad was running a beta version and although it said the iOS was no longer supported and I should upgrade, it worked fine.I made the mistake of upgrading to Sonos S2 on the iPhone, assumed it was just a new version as before but it’s rendered the iPad and iPhone 5 unusable.  Downloaded the latest version the older devices supported but they now say they’re incompatible and I need to put a later iOS on there (which of course I can’t do).I saw something about downgrading to Sonos S1 but after installing S1 on the iPhone 5 (last compatible version) it says it can’t be used and exits.What are the options?Am I stuck with only being able to control it with the iPhone 6s until Sonos decides I can’t use that either?Buying new iDevices just to control S

I have a Sonos Amp, and a Definitive Tech Sub Pro 800 that has both the mono RCA LFE option (What is connected now) and also has the option to connect via high level input. Real Subwoofers have this too. Can this work with the Sonos Amp? I searched but did not find an answer. So basically I’d connect my Def Tech sub to the left and right speaker channels of the amp, and then I would connect my 2 front speakers to the back of the sub. Will that work or do I have to keep using the LFE? It’s for music, so I figured using the High Level input may sound better as the sub would get the same signal as the speakers, right? Or am I mistaken? Thanks!

Has anyone used the Sonos amp with b&w/kef speakers and sub? What’s that combination sound like?    I’m looking to buy the amp and use it in combination with an existing b&w pv1 sub and potentially new speakers. Considering 607s as they are the smallest available and have had good reviews.    Alternatively I do have some old kef 3005se speakers that I was looking to sell but could also try with this set up but I’m not sure about the combination.     Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated. 

Hi There,  I’ve read through posts on the topic from 3 years ago and haven’t seen a recent update or post on this. Has Sonos updated their product / App to allow you to connect a single speaker to multiple room profiles? For example, I have a Play:1 in my Office, a Play:1 in my bedroom, and then a Playbar, sub, and two Play:1’s in my living room.  I have a profile for my living room, I can make a profile for my office and bedroom, but how can i choose to play music through ALL of these at the same time? I bought these so that they can be connected, and it seems like the only way to do this is to create a profile for the entire house, in which case i would have to either manually mute the speakers in the rooms i don’t want it to play, or delete and recreate my room profiles anytime i wanted to listen to music.  Or, Imagine if you have a speaker inside and one outside. I just made some changes to my AV setup, and now the volume controls for the Beam are stuck connected to the TV remote. Before: Audio output: Beam connected to LG smart TV via Hdmi/Optical audio adapter. Video input: Chromecast, PS4, Nintendo Switch Status: When directing TV audio output to Beam, was able to control volume using TV remote. When audio output is through TV speakers, the remote will have no effect on the Beam (i.e. playing music out of the Beam while using the TV for video games) Now: I just set up the Altice One cable box, which has replaced the HDMI port used by the chromecast. This device also replaced my wifi router, so I had to reconnect the Sonos system to the new network. I also had to update the app (Sonos Controller) to the latest version. Now, when I am listening to music on the Beam via Sonos app and have TV audio set to TV speakers, the TV remote will still control the Beam, even though the Beam is not receiving TV audio. Please help. I've been waiting for this, and now when Sonos controller tries to connect to Google Assistant, no devices are found. I have unplugged everything, restarted phone, tried several things and still not connecting to Google Assistant on my 2 Sonos Ones. What do I do? I have lost an hour and a half of my life on this! Ok and now I must have clicked some answered thing on this forum. This is not answered!! Fix this issue ASAP what a waste of time, Sonos!

Hi All, I have my Firestick 4k plugged into HDMI 4 and my Sonos Arc into HDMI 1 (ARC channel). I set my sound settings on the Vizio p65 TV to bitstream (but tried auto as well). Sound settings on Firestick is set to “Always DD+” I tried several shows on both Netflix and Amazon Video with no luck in getting the Sonos S2 app to show the Dolby Atmos logo in the now playing screen. On the P65 (TV) remote, I can press the “Info” button, and it shows I am getting Dolby audio, but I suspect it is not Atmos. I’ve tried Jack Ryan season 3 ep 8, I tried Better Call Saul Season 4, Baby Driver, and a few others. Is the S2 app glitchy? I tried it on both an Android phone and an Iphone. Am I really not getting Atmos? Where do you think I am going wrong?

Help! Google assistant works fine on my Sonos system for everything except music playback. Assistant music playback works fine on all other devices in the house, just not Sonos. Weather, general web enquiries all work fine, but here’s an example of the music problem: ”hey google, play Mumford and sons” ”Alright, playing Mumford and sons on YouTube music” ”sorry, I don’t know how to help with that”. or ”hey google, play bbc radio 4 on tunein radio” ”ok, playing BBC radio 4 on tunein” ”sorry, I don’t know how to help with that yet”. Hi All, The Sonos Arc is not "opening" the HDMI ARC port on my TV properly and I need to do it manually each time. In other words, when I turn the TV on via the Apple TV (or TV directly), I manually need to press “input” on the TV remote and click on the HDMI arc port (and see the Sonos splash screen) before the sound starts to come through the Arc instead of the TV speakers. This is really annoying and I previously had the Beam which didn’t have this issue, so it definitely isn’t the TV. My TV is a 2016 LG 4K OLED (OLED55B6T-T)   Sonos Product management, could you please add this to your list of things to fix?   Regards, James    

Is it possible to get a pure/flat signal straight from my turntable into my in-ceiling speakers without ANY digital features and EQ?  I’m trying to mimic a typical turntable->powered speakers configuration but with my SONOS equipment. Details: Audio-Technica at-lp120xusb turntable using onboard pre-amp / output set to line SONOS Amp connected via analog RCA cables SONOS In-Ceiling Speakers connected via analog speaker wire Again, my goal is no digital features.  No streaming, no buffering/delays, no multi-room, etc. Thanks!

Hello. I have a home theater set up with Playbar, two Play:1 surrounds and a sub. Suddenly today, my TV does not appear to be outputting any sound to my home theater. I’ve done all the usual checks (optical cable/red light; TV sound settings; Dolby and not Dolby Plus; etc.).  Not that this matters, but I’ve checked my TiVo, Apple TV, and the TV directly to see if any sound passes through and it does not. All boxes are connected via HDMI to my TV; the TV is supposed to pass sound through the optical cable.  That everything was working fine for two years and then suddenly stops working is very strange. I’m not sure what worse I can do to fix this. Please help. I have a SONY Bravia 75” 4K OLED TV if that helps.    Diagnostic: 1619880235.   thanks! Jay

My new Sonos Move arrived this morning. It's set up and playing music from the Sonos App however, Alexa Voice Control isn't working. Microphone on Sonos Move is on (light on), speaker has been discovered by the Alexa App, and I've disabled and re-enabled the Alexa Sonos Skill. Still not responding to voice control.

I have split my IoT Devices and Office Devices into two different VLANs. With now named Sonos S1 App, everything was running smooth and fine. Now, I had to make the update to Sonos S2 (the S1 app refused to connect to my Sonos devices!). After the App Update, I'm not able to control my sonos devices anymore.  Does anyone know if SONOS is now needing even more High-Ports on UDP from the App to the speakers or which parameters changed?  @Sonos : It's a mad thing what is going on here. Many users are requesting more support for setups with different VLAN which are becomming more and more important also in private LANs. No right answer came at any point besides the system is not intended of this usage… Than the topic with bricking old hardware. Now you will not go for this step, but still pushing the customers for updates which will break existing setups and not one word in the changelog. I'm somewhat disappointed on this behavioral. 

I have 9 pairs of Tru Audio Ghost speakers in-ceiling throughout the house connected to a Russound Pro 12HP speaker selector switch and driven as Zone 2 from a Denon 4520 CI Receiver. i’d like to connect a Sonos port to the new Sonos Amp and connect to the Russound switch instead of the Denon receiver. Does anyone know, or have an informed opinion, as to whether the new Sonos Amp would be able to drive all 9 pairs simultaneously? I like the ease of the Sonos interface relative to the Denon and can get all the content I want from Sonos enabled sources.

I currently run my Play:3s as surrounds for my Playbar & Sub. Is there any advantage in running Play:3s for rear surrounds vs Play:1 in this configuration?  The sub takes over low frequency duty from the Playbar.  Is the low end pulled out of the rears, as well?  If so, there might be no advantage in running 3s and they might serve better in a stand-alone mission elsewhere in the house. Meaning, they might be overkill for surround duty in this config. Thoughts? -JR

I have an office and home that are configured with unique house codes (Sonos ID), both configured as “Sonos Net” wireless, not WiFi (using Boost). With my Move I have it configured for my home Sonos system, so when I take it to my office, I cannot access it via Sonos app unless I factory reset the Move and then join it to the office Sonos system. I am aware that with WiFi direct setups, the Move can store multiple WiFi network credentials. (Ex. Taking the Move to your friends house temporarily). Can the Move also be linked/store multiple house codes / Sonos ID’s to streamline my situation and support being taken between multiple Sonos Net households?

Does Sonos support Trueplay with the 2020 iPad (7. Generation) and the iPad Air (3. Generation)?

I’m not able to connect my new Sonos Arc with the S2 app.   Details of my setup: I have 2x One SLs setup as a stereo pair All devices connected by WiFi My router is a BT Hub 6A (BT Smart Hub 6) No WiFi Extenders Using iPhone XS Max for controller My Arc is detected, I press the sync button and it just fails to connect. Things I’ve tried already: Connecting directly to router via Ethernet Factory Reset Reinstall S2 app on iPhone  Is there anything else I should try? Many thanks,   Adam

I’m getting a hard time trying to keep Sonos Arc connected to Sony Tv. Most of the time the Sonos Arc is displayed on the connected devices list as “Audio System”.  After restarting TV, turning off Bravia Sync (removing registered devices) several times or factory testing Sonos Arc I got to see on the Bravia Sync device list “Sonos Arc”. Then the setup completes and I can use the Sonos Arc. If I turn off the tv and try to watch tv later, the Sonos ARC doesn’t work again. I need to disconnect AppleTV 4K, ps4 and cable STB in order to make it work again.   any ideas?   thanks for your help

I just took delivery of a Sonos Play 5 and a Pro-Jett Essential III turntable and the volume coming from the turntable is unacceptable. Yes I have checked the connections. Yes I have gone into the app and adjusted the line in settings.  I have all of the settings set to max volume for the turntable and I get low background levels of sound. If I switch to streaming music I have to lower the volume or be blown out of the room.  Sadly if I can’t get this resolved I will ship back the entire order

I gifted a Sonos Beam to my brother who owns a 2013 Samsung TV Model # UN32EH4003F   What type of connection wire or adapter  does he need to successfully connect the Beam to that model Samsung TV?   He's been unsuccessful trying a few different adapters.   Thanks for any assistance!

I currently run Deezer Elite -- this is an FLAC stream.  I was told by an audio salesman that while Sonos runs FLAC the audio you actually get is less than CD quality due to Sonos’ own compression.  Is this true? If so, does the broader band of S2 eliminate said compression (or is the improved sound quality only going to be when you upgrade a stream all the way to HD) Would this elimination be immediately audible or do we need to await further updates?  

I have a Spotify family account with 5 separate logins, 1 for each family member and one for general house or guest use. I would like to set it so that when Sonos is controlled by Google Assistant, it uses the general house account instead of my personal account. The problem is that if I am not home, driving in my car, or home listening to headphones, and my kids use the Sonos system, whatever I'm listening to stops and it deletes my listening queue, then replaces it with what they are listening to, and if I start playing my device, it deletes what they are listening to. This defeats the purpose of having separate accounts to begin with. I've tried changing the account in the Sonos PC application but it keeps doing the same thing, as though the Google Assistant always defaults to my personal account no matter the Sonos settings. Please let me know how to fix this annoying problem. Thank you for any solutions!
