Hi there,I have three Play 3 speakers that have been set up in their current configuration for the last 5 years with no real issues. Yesterday they all just stopped working and were no longer visible in the app.The app would not see any of them and I could not get them to connect wirelessly.I rebooted the speaker, reset the app, tried a different network, rebooted the router, pretty much anything I could think of and some several times.I tried connecting directly with an ethernet cable and got one speaker to work sporadically. The others would still not connect.I spoke with support over chat and we did everything including factory resetting the speakers. Nothing worked. Ended up having to use one of the speakers as a “bridge” by connecting it directly via an ethernet cable to the router and then connecting the other 2 speakers to it wirelessly. The support person suggested that I should purchase a Sonos Boost to correct the problem. Why should I have to spend money on another component

I have successfully updated to S2 version 12.0.1 by my iPhone. The problem is that i can't update the app on my MAC. When I start the app I get the information that I must update to S2 but when I push the update button nothing happen. I then found out that I am running 11.1 on the MAC and tried to upgrade to 11.2 first. But that does not work either. It downloads the upgrade but during “update the controller” I get an error “unexpected failure”  How could I solve this? And another secondary question, I got the answer from the Swedish support contact that I could start a live chat with SONOS support, but I can't find how I start that?

I have been listening to the same two radio stations on my Sonos for many years and all of a sudden they stopped working. They were tunein  French station in “ my stations” when I press play nothing happens… what am I to do, without them Sonos is useless to me

Is there a way to play music through the ARC with the TV off? Having an issue where the TV audio will take over the ARC audio. In a situation with ambient mode on with Samsung TV or YouTube TV playing, again only due to the fact the TV has to be on.

New Mac, with my user account on an external SSD. My husband has the same setup on his Mac, and does not have this problem playing from his library.Music will be playing, then stop. When I try to play the next song, there is a long pause, then a long string of “unable to play”. Sometimes this happens when I first start a playlist. Deleting and reloading the music library usually helps. Rebooting my Mac also  fixes it - sometimes. This is happening at least every other day. Help?

Today is my first day with sonos moveAfter turning off from the power button from back side after sometime move automatically turn back on (light on). Is there any issue in the device or common issue ???Please help me it drains battery...!!!

I decided to do a clean install of Big Sur on my iMac.  In doing the install I erased both the system volume and the data volume.  After the clean install, I installed the the Sonos S2 app.  I have FLAC music stored on my iMac in the Documents folder.  I know what has to be done to have Sonos recognize the path to my music. In System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy I put the Sonos app in Accessibility and in Full Disk Access.  However, the SonosLibraryServer does not appear when I try to find it to add it to Full Disk Access.  What’s strange is that a search on my computer doesn’t find it either.  Can someone tell me how to add it to Full Disk Access? All of my FLAC music files are in a folder called FLAC Music. I know that I have to grant Sonos Read & Write permissions.  However, Sonos is not appearing under Permissions.  Can someone tell me how to have it appear?  Thanks.

Today, I noticed that most of my pocket casts won't play strangely Sirius, soundcloud, mixcloud and library all work with no issues.  I have about 12 podcasts, several sources and half of them throw the error 701. I did, today, get my outside DSL line replaced, but again it works fine for all my other services.  Pocket Casts works fine from the app also.  I also reinstalled the sonos app and deleted and re-added the service no change Diagnostic:. 1510266545

Hi, My plan for the upcoming weeks is to buy a new TV. Currently I have two IKEA SYMFONISK lamps and my plan is to stream the sound directly to those speakers. Is it possible to do that without any additional Sonos product? What kind o configuration the TV should have to support such a connection? If it’s not possible, what should I add to the configuration to ensure the streaming?  Thanks,Oskar

Set up is a Sony A8 TV, Arc connected via EARC. In-built Netflix app on the TV has started to drop the sound at random points in any Netflix programme. Not just brief skips but the sound will suddenly just stop while the picture keeps going. I have to briefly turn the TV off and back on again (just with the remote) and the sound returns. No other apps suffering from this.  Any suggestions / anyone else getting this behaviour? Thanks

Just had a few hiccups with my Sonus system, possibly caused by updates to our BT whole house Wi-Fi system. I rang Sonus and had the pleasure of talking with Andreea T.   their technical assistant who with great patience walked me through the problem and got my system up and Running.A big thank you Andreea T.  for you help and thank you Sonus for a great system. Colin.

I recently got a new Mac and it’s running Catalina OS (10.15.6). I migrated all of my files over to the new mac and, at first, I was able to add my music library to Sonos but then all of a sudden my music stopped and the library had disappeared. I tried to add the library again and I chose the “My Music folder” icon under “Music Library Settings” and I got the error “Sonos was unable to add the music folder. The computer “blah-blah” cannot be found.” So then I went back and picked the “another folder connected to my computer” icon and I chose the main music folder in User. Sonos will act like it’s working and will even say that my music is being added and it will show that it is indexing the library but then it just goes away….disappears….poof. So then I go back and try to add that folder again and it will say it can’t be found. omg….sooooo frustrating. Please please please help. I have a hunch it’s this new OS -- it no longer supports 32-bit applications. If that is the case please le

Can I connect a zp 90 second gen to a play 5 first gen instead of trading up?

Hello,I have a Play:1 without Alexa. Will an Echo Dot still connect with and control my play:1?

Hi,  I have a play 1 and a play bar. If I buy one of the turntables off the Sonos website, will I be able to connect it and play it off the two speakers I own?thanks

Up until i updated the S2 app to 12.2.1 I would see the Sonos audio controls in the pull-down notification curatain as well as on my lock screen. Now it’s not visible in either. I noticed upon going into the Notifications menu that the Sonos app isn’t even listed. I’m running iOS 14.2 on an iPhone 12 Pro. Music controls work well within the app itself. I even uninstalled and reinstalled it but no joy. Anyone else experience this? I just went through something similar with my OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren and that was never resolved. I hope that’s not the case here because I’m just starting to get used to iOS again.

Hello! New user here. I’d like to connect my turntable to my Sonos system. Can I use the Sonos Five to stream my turntable to my other speakers? I don’t need the output features of the Port so it seems like I’d be better off getting an extra speaker than the Port. Am I missing something?

At the weekend, Sonos updated and since then Alexa has stopped playing Apple Music. If you ask her to play something, she will state what you have asked for and then you wait for her to play it and nothing happens.  Alexa is performing all other tasks through the internet however she will not play Apple Music through Alexa - this is however working when you select it through the Sonos app just not voice controlled.I have tried disabling the skill and re-enabling it and also unplugging the Sonos, signing out of everything and re-adding it - nothing is working.Anyone else had this issue since the weekend and know how to fix it please as the whole reason I upgraded the Sonos was so we could use Alexa with it.Many thanks

I have a 2019 Samsung Q70R and am wondering about sound quality if I got a Sonos Arc. Apparently my tv does not have eARC. I currently run a Comcast cable tv + Apple TV + Oppo BluRay player through a Yamaha receiver. I’m trying to minimize things with a move to a soundbar. So, looks like I would get 2-channel stereo from DTS BluRay discs from my Oppo, since the Arc cannot decode DTS, right? As to my cable box and Apple TV box, since streaming is mostly or all Dolby Digital, would I get full Dolby via the Arc? But, lose Atmos? Thanks

I just got a new phone it is an iPhone 11 promax and Sonos has asked me to re-authorize my Apple Music account. When the pop-up window opens with my Apple ID in it and the section for me to enter my password the keyboard does not pop up and so I cannot type in my password.

I’ve had a Bridge for 5 years and not had a single issue with our system.  We have a Playbar, Sub, 5 x Play:1, 1 x Play:3, 1 x Play:5.  I see the Bridge is now ‘legacy’. Would the community recommend I replace the Bridge with Boost?  Only, I see some have had issues once they’ve moved to a Boost despite never having an issue whilst on the Bridge. Many thanks in anticipation for any advice offered.

I’m Eligible for the upgrade 30% discount on the upgrade program, but the full surround sound set has stock all sold out, that I want. How long does it keep my 30% discount on the sonos website, as I don't want to purchase the items separately, I’m happy to wait for the stock to show again.  Also I’m eligible for two product upgrades, does mean I can order the full surround sound set and say a pair of play 5. Thank you for help Andrew

I started my Sonos radio HD trial today and found out that when I switched to port from beam, it won’t allow me to skip/rewind songs.

Hi, I’ve been enjoying surround sound for over a year, but suddenly stopped working a few months ago.  My Setup (Living Room):Playbar Connect:Amp (LS+RS) Sub All devices wired through a switch that is connected to the router. Full Audio on Music in surround settings. I’ve gone to Settings > System > Living Room (Playbar) and removed the surrounds and they become a separate “Living Room” group, which now works fine and I can group them or play individually. I’ve unplugged (all four) Connect:Amp’s and the Playbar and plugged them back in after 60 seconds and restarted the Sonos S2 app. I get a banner in the app to add surrounds with Connect:Amp and click it and it sets up as expected, but no sound.  Diagnostic code (before surround setup): 551892727Diagnostic code (after surround setup, playing radio): 1402672324 Hope somebody can help get my surrounds back again.
