Hello have new Sonos move and able to register listen and connect through my phone.  when try to find the move throguh other mobile he wasnt able. I tried both create new account and also to find existing device with no success.  after download the app on other deviced, how can i connect the move to more then one mobile device?

When I launch on Android phone (working fine with my Play 1 based  setup 2 days ago) it says S1 controller is not compatible, and insists I upgrade to S2 controller. The store says S2 is not available in my region (UK) but the text is all chinese or japanese. I’m now stuck in thsi stupid loop. I have reset , uninstalled , reloaded searched for the existing system (rwhich uns fine on my PC) all to no avail. total time wasted so far 4 hours! I have to say that the constant upgrdes and re-loads every time I move between 2 houses has made using Sonos a complete waste of my time - really very disappointed as the system works well when it works - but is less than useless when tghis kind of thing happens.  It stopped working on my ipad ages ago and will be thrown out when the final controller tells me its not compatible . Grrrrrr The advice that I can carry on using s1 is of no use if the “you need to update to s2” message wont go away. All and Any help would be appreciated

Hi,   Yesterday after a confusing and not straight process,my Sonos system updated to Sonos S2 app. This “new” app, besides having an ugly color it doesn’t work well as the “old” app.   I lost the Volume control and preview of songs!    Is it possible to roll back to the previous app?  No matter that my hardware has been updated?   Thanks!

I have two 1st generation Sonos Amp and two Connect devices and four Lutron Audio Pico remotes. The Sonos Amps are used for ceiling speakers in the main living space, each powering 2 sets of speakers which are set up as a Group on the Sonos app.  I would like all four remotes to control the group volume.  However, the remotes only control the volume of a single amp but they all control an on-off function and playlist selection of both amps.  Is it possible to have all remotes control the volume of both amps when they are grouped together?   I have tried to troubleshoot on the Lutron side.  The remote device can only be paired with one device, in this case one amp.  The app does not allow me to pair with more than one amp.  

Hi Just unsure on audio settings on my ps4, I will have a sonos ARC soon and unsure what I should be setting in the ps4 audio settings I have LG CX.   Should I leave it on linear PCM or bitstream dolby?   Thanks

Sonos get your act together. No trueplay except for some Apple products and no android ones. You can’t sort this out? Really? This is a big do not buy Sonos issue. I registered just to say this, do not think it will do any good or even be posted but I feel better having done so. You choose to do this for your own reasons.

Hi there - I’ve got a Sonos Play 1 which we use with Alexa (and Spotify music).    For a while I’ve had problems with the Spotify app or YouTube recognising/connecting to the Sonos speaker, which is put down to WiFi issues. Similarly, Alexa often won’t play Spotify tracks - despite repeating the name back... I’ve tried disabling and enabling Spotify - but that hasn’t changed things. When I go on the Sonos app I can play Spotify perfectly through it. So it’s odd that WiFi would be the issue.    if anyone has had a similar experience or knows what this might be I’d be grateful for any tips..            

Hey all,  So maybe this is a stupid question but I'm new to Soundbars. The arc has 11 drivers, but when listening to music I always only her the center ones and the ones on the sides.  I basically never hear the front facing ones left and right from the center ones. (Even with movies) With Atmos content I at least also hear the upward facing drivers at specific scenes (I assume they are not supposed to always play) So of course I can only hear it with my ear right next to the drivers, but I was just curious and I can never seem to hear sound from the Left and right front facing ones, only the center ones.  What's up with that, is this normal or is my unit damaged? I recently google for voice on my beam. When  i say a command like "play elton John", I get the reply " playing a playlist of elton John on Spotify" (which is what I would expect), followed by "sorry,   I don't understand". then nothing is played. There are no other people or sounds in the room when this happens. I have tried a few times with the same results. Any ideas?  

I was thinking of replacing my AMP with the Sonos AMP to get access to all the easy streaming.  My setup so far is an iPad used for stream via AUX cable to the current AMP, the TV connected and a turntable.  As the AMP covers all of this the only thing left is the EQ.  Shouldn’t it be possible to just “manually” set the digital EQ of the Sonos AMP to a level that the Bose would sound like if played through their own EQ? If so does anyone have experience with this?  I have no Idea how to actually KNOW when my settings “sound right”. Is there some method to this that I can follow? Just using my ears might heavily depend on the song i currently listen to. Maybe that’s also an Idea, some suggestions which songs i should check out (due to high pitches, deep basses, ...)  I know using the active EQ from the Bose Series 2 is not possible (except if i just use it for the turntable^^)  I’Ve also got a Magnat Quantum Sub that i plan to connect via wire, I do not think this matters here but just

My sound quality is terrible when using by new Pro Ject T1 turntable through my Play 5. There are two problems: The volume is strangely low. After reading other posts, I adjusted the audio compression to “uncompressed” and I increased the source level. That helped only a bit with volume; it is still too low. The sound quality is very poor. It sounds tinny, slight echo, almost as if in a chamber, and it emphasizes layer of the tracks it shouldn’t, making the songs almost unrecognizable in parts. I am using the RCA to stereo 3.5 cable provided by Sonos.

I moved house over a year ago and have just got around to setting up my beloved Sonos system [2xZP120 Connect:amp and 1x Connect (Get 1)]. My controllers on Mac CPU and iPhones have updated the software and I can no longer link my devices. How can I download the old app (s1 I believe) to control my old devices. Any help would be really appreciated. I am gutted that I cannot use this fab equipment.

Hi All First post here. I have a new Sony Bravia and just purchased a Beam for a bit extra depth which it very good at. However there is a small but noticeable Sync issue between Lip Movement and Sound output. Im using the ARC port on the Sony, Sound output is Dolby 5.1. I have found the Sync option in the Sonos App (which was on 0) however moving it upwards makes the effect significantly worse. I've turned off the Sony “ClearAudio+” Option which i think has helped a little. I cant find any other option to set \ Modify. I am using the supplied HDMI cable would a better cable help..? The Sonos App needs a Negative setting for Sync which it currently dosnt have this would sort it out. There seem to be an awfull lot of complaints and posts about this issue are Sonos listening to us all is anything being done... ?? Thoughts Paul

I currently have my record player connected up to the Sonos Amp and wired speakers off the amp. It is in the same open space as the TV and I'm looking for a way to listen to my record through headphones. Is there a way to use Bluetooth or wired headphones with the Amp?

Hi there, I have a LG TV 2019 Airplay enabled that is connected to a Playbar. When I am Airplaying to the TV and the Playbar is connected via optical I cannot change the volume from my iPhone with the volume controls as I can do when airplaying to my Play One. If I change the sound output on the TV from Optical (Playbar) to TV Speakers I am able to change the volume with the iPhone volume controls when Airplaying.   Thanks in advance.   Cheers  

Sonos hive, seeing if anyone else is seeing this issue. I upgraded to S2 and did a full redetect of every device in my Sonos system. All are compatible with S2 and all upgraded successful. Alexa detected my SonosOne and picked up all my devices. So far so good.  My SonosOne was not showing the mic active. I figured out this was due to the voice service not being set right. I went through pass after pass of trying to get it working only to be stopped by the dreaded error that sonos could not make the amazon account "There is a problem adding Alexa." I have tried multiple speakers alexa enabled sonos speakers; same issue. I have also ripped out the sonos skill and put it back to no avail. It all worked under S1 software. And all the Alexa-Sonos groups and play services work. So this is limited to just voice services. What is interesting is I CAN successfully add the Google Assistant service without issue. So I  thinking this is a compatibility issue with S2 and Alexa. Anyone else see

I've got a new Sonos Arc 5.1.2 setup, with the arc connected to an LG CX tv via the eArc hdmi (tv set to passthrough). So far it's been working well - the built in apps do 5.1 and Atmos and my ps4 gets 5.1 as I had expected. (and I'm looking forward to the Sonos Arc update to get more than stereo out of the Nintendo Switch). My problem is with being unable to get my Windows 10 laptop to recognise that I have a 5.1 setup (let alone Atmos). I'm hoping this is a solvable problem - if the old ps4 can figure it out, surely I should be able to get the pc to as well (even if it requires a bit of tinkering)?  The laptop is running an nvidia 1070 - also attached via hdmi to the tv. Sound driver is Nvidia HD Audio. Latest updates and drivers. Currently windows sound settings is reporting only stereo speakers. 5.1 appears disabled in the list and cannot be selected. I installed Dolby Access to get Dolby Atmos for Home Theater but that did not work (i suspect I need to resolve the 5.1 issue and

I have figured out how to turn off the Alexa “wake” tone, but now I have a tone that plays after Alexa responds to a request.  I have not been able to find anywhere in either the S2 app or the Alexa app.  Does anyone know how that is controlled?

So it is 4pm on the 8th June here and still no Sonos S2 update. Hmmmmm.

Will trueplay finally be supported on android with the launch of the s2 app?

Have two Sonia systems at two locations but wanted to take my Move between each location. It looks like I have to reset the move to get it to join the system at each location. SSID at each location is the same, not sure if that is the issue (but doubt it). Get a message saying that the Move is registered to a different system. Btw, both systems are in the same account. 

Hi all, hoping to som help.  I am a Newby so learning as I go here.   I have read the other post and they don’t seem to apply to me.   Just unboxed my pro-ject T1 SB, plugged in the R/W cable into the back of the turntable and then connected to the 3.5 converter into the back of my Play 5.  I have made sure all settings were set exactly to instructions.  When I play an album and connect to Line in I hear nothing but a buzz from the Play 5.     I do not get music from the turntable.  What am I doing wrong?   Thank you,   Greg

Since I installed the S2 app on my iPhone 11, I noticed my battery got drained rapidly.  See picture below:     The Screen Off is 54 min. meaning the Sonos S2 app is active in the background doing something...  I had no issue using the original Sonos app before. I have to swipe out manually the app to prevent the battery from draining. Anyone experiencing the same issue?

I have been unable to get my Tivo Bolt remote to control my Sonos Arc volume/mute functions.  I have unsuccessfully tried solutions for the Playbar.  Any help would be welcomed.  Thank you.
