Hi All, I knew it couldn’t have been that easy to cut the cord. Everything was working great;  almost suspiciously. Then our internet provider (Spectrum) sent us a new cable modem AND router (our previous unit was a combo modem/router). Gradually plugged everything back in with no problems (see breakdown below). Every time we plug in the Connect it kicks everything off the network. Tried unplugging router, tried reinstalling app, tried connecting the Connect wirelessly instead of wired, tried factory resetting the Connect, but no dice. Everything BUT the Connect works well. One thing I noticed is that our previous modem/router offered 5.0 GHz and 2.4 GHz networks, Our new wireless router only has the one network to choose from. Below is our system setup. Not sure where to report this but when I go to https://beta.sonos.com/, sign in using my "previously" working credentials, I get redirected to https://beta.sonos.com/login/oauth/2/authorize?p=OAuthCustomerLogin&ref=https%3A%2F%2Fbeta.sonos.com which respond a 400.

I’m considering buying a Beam, and since the Play:1 is discontinued, would have to buy a One SL (I don’t want Alexa) to complete the setup. Would all three work seamlessly together?  Thanks

Hello,Now that we are being forced by Google to switch from Google Play Music to YouTube Music, I noticed the following permissions requirements when linking YTM to Sonos:View and manage your videos and playlists View and manage your YouTube activity, including posting public comments.Questions: What exactly does Sonos do in terms of retaining my YTM playlist data? Is this sent back to the mothership and analyzed? I’m asking because I have many video playlists in YouTube that have nothing to do with music, but I actually consider them somewhat personal and sensitive.* Why the heck is Sonos asking to post public comments under my name, and to ‘manage’ my activity? Hi guys , I recently bought sonos playbar for my lg tv. It connects perfectly with tv but when i trying to use or play music through airplay streaming i could not find my sonos playbar. So not able to listen music with apple airplay because its not showing my playbar . I think sonos playbar not supportapple airplay. Can you fix this issue . 

Hi all, I am trying to grab my free trial of Sonos Radio HD and my postcode doesnt seem to be recognised.  I have tried inputting it with no space and with a space in between the first three characters and second three characters but nothing seems to work.  The fact it is referring to it as a ZIP code suggests to me it is looking for a US format postcode.   Wither way I cannot claim my free trial currently.  Any advice on how to fix?

I have my Spotify account connected to my Sonos and play background music for my dog when I leave the house. When I come home it’s off. Shouldn’t it keep playing? How do I make sure it stays on? Thanks. 

Following the update to the IOS Sonos app v 12.2 the “Line-In” is not playing sound through any of my 8 devices.  Prior to the software update it worked flawlessly.  Is anyone else having this issue?  You can see a typical play back in the screen shot.  The dancing bars look normal for play back.  All other sources play back normally.  It’s just “Line-In” that isn’t working and it’s driving me nuts! 😂👍🏻 I have tried the following:unplug all components and plug back in (power) unplug lan cables from Port to Lan Router and plug back in Unplug RCA cables from all components and plug back in     

Spotify not showing in Music Services in Russia I installed the latest update, but it did not help. What can I do?

Upon upgrading to S2 I learned one of my play 5 Sonos speakers is incompatible.  So I reverted to S1.  Reset all speakers, got 4 of 5 speakers back.  Easy enough. however, whenever I try to reconnect my Sonos Connect, S1 can’t find it.  More so, after an attempt To reconnect S1 loses the other 4 speakers and can’t find Sonos on my network AT ALL.   this is easily fixed too; connecting any other speaker by Ethernet quickly finds the 4 “lost” speakers.  But I still can’t reconnect the connect!  I’ve tried resetting it multiple times, locating it via Wi-Fi and Ethernet.  All attempts result in S1 “losing” the whole system.Any ideas?

I am looking at Sonos speakers. The Web site lists numerous music services that play via Sonos speakers. I current am in trials at Amazon HD and Apple Music. I have not been able to ‘get’ whether music on Sonos must stream from my iphone to the speaker or if my phone (or voice commands) simply tell the speaker to stream directly from the music service. Can someone enlighten me? 

I have a Samsung Serif tv, the Sonos Beam started dropping out and the first sign of a problem was tv volume control did not work with Netflix. Now the Beam does not work with the tv at all, all volume is coming out of the TV audio. The Beam does work if streaming music, but not with the TV. I have it connected with a HDMI cable. Any suggestions?

i have a new sonus beam connected via hdmi-arc to a lgcs tv. the two sonus one's i added and now a sub are registered as in the same (living)  room. but only the beam is outputting sound. the beam is listed as WM:1 and the others as WM: 2. what's wrong? thanks.

Morning all.I have a very simple set up : NAS > Sonos Connect > Amp.All has been working well for a few years, however, recently I have noticed some crackling/distortion during bass heavy instrumental passages.I have checked via headphones, replaced the speakers, changed the amp and the distortion is still there,  hence why I suspect the source of the distortion is the Connect device.Unfortunately my amp does not have a optical/digital input, so I am using RCA connectors.The distortion is only obvious on very specific types of music, the rest of the time things sound fine - hence why I am confused as to what’s the cause.I can drastically reduce the distortion by reducing the volume via the Sonos app.It’s as if recently there is almost too much volume being pushed through the Connect.Is there anything else I can check, or, does this mean that my Connect is now damaged (the DAC has ‘blown’?), and the only solution is to upgrade to a Port ? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciat

Hi, I have a Beam connected to my tv, a Sonos amp, 2 passive Speakers and a turntable connected to the amp. I want to use this setup as a 4.0 surround sound system for my tv and I want to use all speakers to play music from my turntable. I can configure the system to play 4.0 surround sound but than the line in disappears in the app. And I can unpair the surround speakers, create a separated room for the amp with the passive speakers and group it with the beam to play the turntables on all speakers. So I’m basically able to do all what I want to do but not without reconfiguring the hole system every time. Please help ;)

I am a long time Sonos user.  I have numerous Sonos products in two homes.  It has worked beautifully until this week (4/27/20).  On 4/27-4/28/20, my IOS app could not find the Sonos network and kept showing the message System Not Found.  I tried rebooting devices, downloading updated app, even called Verizon to inquire if they had updated any router settings recently.  No luck.  I called SonosTech Support and the tech was very helpful.  We eventually got the app running by connecting a Play1 directly to my router with a data cable.  Rooms began appearing and then I lost the phone connection!!  However, the Sonos network again became unstable and many devices simply would not appear in Rooms and some that did would not play.  Later, after reading about the Legacy S1 products and the impending upgrade, I decided to unplug all of my S1 products which were five Connect-Amps.  Miraculously, the Sonos network came right back and Rooms once again appeared.  It has been stable for 24 hours an

I just got my Move today and since I don't own an Iphone, I was wondering if there is any way I could use the mics from the Sonos Move to calibrate my Sonos Arc surround system?

When connecting a directional hdmi cable between the tv’s eArc port and the Sonos Arc, which direction should the arrow go? Towards the tv or towards the arc? My first thought was that the sound goes from the tv to the arc, but someone told me the opposite. Just looking for clarification. Thanks.

I have a beam, sub and 2 ones setup in a surround sound setup for my TV. It works great for movies and for playing music directly through sonos. The issue I am having is that I watch a lot of music videos on my TV. When listing to music I use the 'full' rather than using the surrounds for ambiant effects. I would love to be able to get something for similar when playing music through my TV.

Hii have a turntable, connected to a pre amp, which is connected to my Technics stereo with CD player which is connected to the Port. I have just purchased the Port and can play CD’s but cannot seem to hear the records on the turntable. Can anyone suggest what I’m doing wrong please? thanks
