Need to deregister Playbar sotenant can access it without accessing my other devices

My Sonos One is registered to my address in the U.S., but I brought it with me to Europe. Google Assistant works fine most of the time and can be used to put on songs from Youtube Music. However, occasionally, Google Assistant puts on a version of the song that seems to be inaccessible in the EU region. For instance, if I ask it to play Taylor Swift's "Blank Space" or "Bad Blood", it says, e.g., "Okay, putting on Taylor Swift's 'Blank Space'". However, the song is then immediately paused before it even starts playing, and a window is shown, saying that "Playback paused because this account is being used in another location". However, this is wrong; my account is not being used elsewhere, and most other songs work fine. On closer inspection, I realized that the version of Blank Space it puts on is called "Blank Space – Taylor Swift ⋅ 1989 (Deluxe Edition)". No song with exactly that title shows up when I search through Youtube Music manually (in the EU); the version of Blank Space

It’s great that we can now drop the “Alexa, play [u]in the lounge[/u]”, when the instruction is given in the lounge!! But how do you identify which Sonos device is in which room, using the Alexa app, when the device names listed are different to those displayed in the Sonos app??!! My Sonos system has changed over time, with speakers being moved from one room to another as my system has grown. As a result, there is a mismatch between the device names I see in my Sonos app (in Settings->Room, which, incidentally, are also different to what I see listed under Setting->About my Sonos System) and what I see listed when I want to add devices to groups using the Alexa app. How do I resolve this confusion? For example, the Alexa app lists a Sonos device called “Den”. It’s one of my speakers for sure, but I’ve never called any room the “Den” and vaguely recall this being named by a Sonos engineer on a support call. But a device called “den” is nowhere to be found in my Sonos app!

Hi, I'm in the throws of a project to create an NFC jukebox - you'd have a deck of cards with album covers and track listings printed on them, wave whichever you desire over a box, and it would start playing on the Sonos. I'm using a Raspberry Pi and Python. There are a few similar projects out there using older standards (SoCo - which doesn't make use of the new API, is very widely used), but I would like to use the new API. My interaction with it should be fairly simple, but I would like to give a user the ability to 'write' a playlist to a new card (so, they'd press a button, an LED would light up, they'd place the card on the reader and the playlist would then be associated with that card). Is there any way (via the API) to determine the playlist id of what's currently playing (or return nothing if it's not a playlist)? Thanks in anticipation!

Just bought a new Beam and trying to connect it to the TV Arc port. When I connect the HDMI cable and then search for the Arc receiver on my Samsung TV it says it can’t connect. I’m trying to connect to a Samsung F9000 UHD TV, I have confirmed the Arc receiver is turned on on the TV, however it doesn’t connect. I have also tried changing the TV speaker setting to ‘receiver’ which is supposed to be the Arc supported device and ‘external speakers’ yet Beam will not connect. Don’t know if it’s a Beam issue, TV issue, or cable issue, if anyone could help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all, wonder if this is common or if I'm a lucky one! I ask my Sonos 1 'play radio 1' it replies 'bbc radio 1 from Tune-in' but no sound plays. [list] [*]Same with asking it to play from my Amazon music Library (Prime). It says 'playing X on Amazon music' but no sound plays. [*]If I manually play the same radio or music via the Sonos App it all works fine. [*]In the Alexa app the Sonos skill is present and enabled. [*]I've tried restarting my router and Sonos devices. [*]I've uninstalled the voice controls and re-installed them. [/list] There is an echo dot in the house that uses Alexa to play from My Amazon music library and Tune-in radio just fine. Just wondering if the device itself is faulty and I need to return it, any experience to shed some light on it? Cheers.

I have just updated the controller software on two android devices (to 10.2). The previously available 'Connect to Sonosnet' option has gone and the devices can no longer see the sonos wireless network. This was really useful as my home network coverage is not good in some areas - sonos fixed that! Is this change deliberate or am I being stupid?

I currently have two Play:1 speakers and an Apple TV and would like to purchase a projector to use as my TV. Can you please recommend any HD projectors that I can use as my TV that will be compatible with with any of the Sonos products that will allow me to connect to apple TV (Play:5, Beam, or Playbar)?

Everytime i ask it to play music, tunein or do anything with the speakers, it just says: It looks like the "den" isn't available right now. Den is my stereo pare speakers. Please help? I've tried removing the service and reinstalling google assistant, restarting router, unplugging and plugging my speakers.

Hey all. I’m a new Sonos owner, having just purchased a Sonos Beam. Other than complications with it not working with my Insignia TV HDMI ARC slot properly (which I resolved by using the HDMI to Optical adapter), I’m enjoying the sound of the Beam quite a bit. In setting it up though, I was completely shocked to find it wouldn’t connect to my 5GHZ network. I’ve streamed music using AirPlay for many years and when I jumped to 5GHz, stability improved dramatically, so I never used 2.4Ghz again (except for wireless printing). For example, the large multi-suite home I’m in now is packed next to other similar homes and thus the 2.4Ghz spectrum is over saturated making reliable streaming (let alone reliable Internet usage) on it pretty much useless. For this reason, I hardwired the Sonos Beam to my router instead of even trying to use it wirelessly. Can someone please explain the logic of this? I mean 2.4GHz does give you an extended range but if the stability is flaky, what good

Hello, I have just purchased a Sonos Beam, which is now on its way to me via Amazon, and I wondered if this is going to be able to be used as a full Echo device replacement? I know you can't use 'drop in' or 'messaging' features, which isn't a problem for me as I don't use those, but I do have a Hive home heating system, which can be controlled via my existing Echo device (e.g. adjusting temperature, turning the heating on and off) and I'm wondering if I will be able to do the same but via the Beam's in-built Alexa? Likewise my Neato robot vacuum cleaner... Best wishes, Kaje

Now that Google Assistant is compatible with Sonos Speakers, can you connect an external Google Mini to control the Play 1 speakers. (similar to previous Amazon Alexa devices). Thanxs for your feedback.

My current setup for surround is a Playbase for the front with 2 Ones as the rear speakers but no sub. I’d like to use my powered analog Yamaha sub to complete everything and am considering the Connect (not the Connect Amp) Will this work?

Hi, Will you be providing support for Google Assistant for Sonos speakers other than the Sonos One and Beam? I have a number of non-One/Beam Sonos speakers and several Google Home devices at home and have been hoping since the announcement that Sonos was going to provide Google Assistant support that I would be able to use it on my system. However, without retrofitting the rooms in my house that already have Sonos speakers with new Sonos Ones and Beams this would not be possible. This is because dooing so is simply too expensive and wasteful (e-waste-wise) for somebody that has already invested in a number of your speakers, so I would like to ask if you will provide support for Google Assistant with orders placed through a Google home device for other non-One/non-Beam Sonos speakers.

Would anybody know why I can turn ON my tv using the Beam with Alexa but can’t turn it back off using the voice commands?

The speaker SONOS ONE has boost mode, to help to connect anothers speakers with own WIFI, but my question is, the SONOS BEAM also has boost mode? Or not?

Make symmetric step towards Android users and make Sonos speakers Chromecast available so we can send any sound from our devices to Sonos speakers. It's also make possible to cast to Sonos numerous music services without integration to app so it's very useful for users. Even cheap JBL and Sony speakers are compatible with Chromecast and Riva Wand speakers support both Airplay and Chromecast, Why Sonos users can't do this? Now I can't cast music from Deezer or Youtube Music apps to Sonos speakers and it's very sad. Please when you make Google Assistant available unlock Chromecast compatibility! I have a Connect that is direct wired to my amp. I used to be able to control the volume to my in-ceiling speakers through my Elan app - one set of speakers, simple installation. I installed the latest update from Sonos and now the App is stuck on "fixed volume". There are no "room settings" when I open the 'Settings' tab and no way to change or adjust the volume settings on the Sonos app. Everything else works fine and I can manually adjust the volume through my amp but no way can I figure out how to change the Sonos app to variable volume. ???

Hi, After the latest update I'm no longer able to use my Ipad Mini as a controller for my Sonos speakers. It seams that the Sonos app is no longer compatible with IOS 9.5.x which is the max IOS version supported by my old Ipad mini. It's quite frustrating for me that updating my sonos speakers to newset version caused this to happen. Any suggestions how to fix this (other than just bying a new ipad, which is not an option) ? Would it really require too much effort for the Sonos team to keep backwards compatibility at a reasonable level? Kind regards Torben

I have set up my Samsung TV UE40NU7120 with Sonos beam but cannot get the "turn off tv" control working. Whenever I say "Alexa turn off the TV", the response is just "ok" then nothing happens....

If i purchase an Amp or Connect:Amp and have old fashioned speakers wired into them Then connect my computer via 3.5mm input Do i play my music through the Sonos App on my PC or through ITunes(where my music is organised)?

I am in process of purchasing a new home, which will then be going through some renovations. I was all set (in my mind) to purchase a Playbar, 2 Ones, and the Sub for my main room entertainment. Then of course I find out there is the new in wall/ceiling system coming out shortly... with a 1yr old child ready to run havoc, having a built in system limiting wires has some appeal. Either system will be used at least 90% of the time to play the sound for what is on TV. I would eventually add outdoor speakers, but that would be used for streaming music and not what is on the primary TV. Which set up will provide the best sound experience? Playbar/Ones/Sub combo vs 4 Ceiling Speakers/Sub? If either of these two items factor in at all; the room is fairly large with high ceilings, and I plan to purchase an LG OLED TV.
