Sonos sub gen 3 not connecting to 2020 Samsung Frame TV.

I just recently set up a beam plus sub gen 3. It works great for music but when using the Beam as a TV speaker on our 2020 Samsung Frame, the sub does not seem to be doing anything. If you put you ear up next to it you can hear a faint electrical sound but no bass. This is only happening when using the setup for TV.  Any advice?

Thanks. I ended up connecting the sub to my router via Ethernet while the beam was doing tv audio and it starting to work.

What are the sound settings on your TV?

it is set to standard and the option of changing it is greyed out with the beam hooked up.

Standard? I was looking for Dolby Digital, PCM or such….

Though the Beam should command a Sub no matter what it's source material is…..

Oh i see. I was referring to the “sound mode” option which is greyed out from changing with the soundbar connected and which is set to “standard”.

There is  otherwise “PCM”, “pass-through” and “auto”. thanks for your replies.

You could try if the different settings have any effect. If not, call Sonos to see if anything's wrong..
