Have had this setup since July and for awhile during some movies on cable tv HBO, Stars and others I will get a crackling through the Arc during voice parts. Doesn’t happen every time.  submitted a diagnostic with number 2050195451

I’m having an issue with the volume of the system going up way too high when playing a playlist and it’s the 3rd or 4th song on the list. It gets so high that I can’t leave music playing without having the phone in hand to turn it down when this happens. It’s gets so loud almost full volume but the volume setting stays same, just acts like somehow the content volume is changing. I have to skip song to fix issue. It happens every time. Anyone else with this issue? Im curious how to resolve this. 

Hi,My Sonos Beam is connected via a HDMI cable to the TV. But my Router/Moden is at the other end of the flat and I cannot connect my Sonos Beam to the home network via an Ethernet cable.Now my question is: Can I connect my Sonos Beam via WiFi to my home network?Thanks

Good afternoon,Just purchased a refurb Sonos Beam gen 1 from Sonos to add to my old tv set-up.Have connected utilising the supplied optical adapter as tv doesn't have Arc. Other components include, Blu-ray, Amazon Fire Cube and Humax freesat box (HDR1100).My issue is that Freesat box only plays through Beam in stereo, even if broadcast is in Dolby Digital. Freesat box settings appear correct (Audio type stereo (only options right, left and stereo) & Digital audio out - multi channel). When playing apps via Amazon Fire Cube (Prime, Netflix or Disney Plus), the broadcast is in Dolby Digital.I thought this may have been a limitation of old tv, however, why would one play back in digital and one in stereo - same programme in Netflix via Humax is in stereo whereas via cube is in digital.Any help/guidance would be extremely welcome.Many thanks

I am based in the UK and have my Sky Q hdmi output connected to my Hue Synch box, which is then connected to my LG 65inch OLED TV. All is working fine until I plug in my Beam via the eARC HDMI output. Plugging in the Beam causes the synch box to keep crashing. The only way I can use them both together is to have my Beam connected to the optical output from my Sky Q box, losing the Atmos capability. Surely as most of the UK uses Sky we should not be getting this conflict. I am not sure what the Beam is outputting that causes the issue.    

Hi! I’m trying to add a Connect Amp as surround speakers for Playbase. The problem is that my router is upstairs, i.e. nowhere near these devices. My question is can I wire the Playbase and Connect Amp via Ethernet cables to router 1 that sits downstairs but isn’t connected to the internet AND have the devices use router number 2 upstairs for wifi and Internet access? As far as I know, using the Connect Amp for surround speakers wouldn’t need internet access via the Ethernet cable, just the signal from the TV via TOSLINK. But then I could play music off the Internet via wifi when needed. Is this possible or a pipe dream? =D  

Hi,Reasonably new to this, so please be patient. 😎I have just upgraded from a Playbar to the Arc, which obviously leaves me with what to do with the Playbar.Where the Arc now is I currently have 2 Play 3’s used as surround sound.However, in the room I am thinking of moving the Playbar to I have two ones.My question is am I better moving the Ones to match up with the Arc so that all the latest items are together, for best sound, or am I best leaving the 3’s where they are as I presume they are more powerful?the next question would then be if I set up the Playbar with the Ones, would that stop them from being able to play in Ulta HD on Amazon music, as the Playbar isn’t up to it?Hope this makes sense

Hey, I’m just looking for advice on height audio settings for my room. My ceiling is probably 8-9 feet from the ground and I am seated 8 feet or so from my Sonos ARC. My ARC is 2-2.5 feet from the ground also. Also any advice on how to true tune properly would be appreciated. I watched the video on the app of the lady moving her phone around and videos I’ve found on YouTube vary slightly from how the sonos setup video depicts. Thanks everyone for you’re input in advance.

Hello all, please bear with my lack of knowledge in this area but I am looking for some advice on my home set up. I have recently started work on extending the rear of my house and have bought 4 x Sonance ceiling speakers and a Sonos Amp. We have also been looking at acquiring a Sonos Beam (gen1) and was wondering how this all comes together.The (albeit simple) plan below shows the set up that I have in mind, but the complication is the soundbar that I would like to add to the equation. If I add the soundbar, how is it connected to the TV Arc if the Amp is already connecting to that? Secondly, can I control the outputs through the app (i.e shut off the kitchen speakers if listening to music in the living room? (for instance)Thirdly, if I play the PS5 through the TV, would sound come through the soundbar and also through the ceiling speakers?Like I said, this is very new to me and the house is very much a building site still, so I have no way of testing it (which

I just moved homes, and we have ATT Fiber WIFI. When I go to connect my Playbar to WIFI as we did in our previous home, I get an error once I enter the WIFI password. I plan to swtich the route to 2.4ghz tonight to see if that will solve the issue, but I wanted to see if there were any alternative suggestions. I am unable to hardwire the Playbar, so in an attempt to alleviate the connectivity issues I purchased a Sonos Boost so I could run everything through the Sonosnet. The issue, however, is that with the Sonos app not able to connect to the WIFI, the functionality of the app is limited, including the ability to add a Boost. This has become endlessly frustrating, so I wanted to see if there were any solutions that I haven’t thought of yet. I appreciate it in advance!

Both my MacBook Pro and Megaseg (DJ software) “see” the Bluetooth connection, but there is nothing coming out of the speaker.  When I disconnect the Bluetooth, the internal speakers cut in and work fine.Does the speaker need to be disconnected / isolated from wifi in order to engage bluetooth?   Is the bluetooth confused by other connections (phone, iPad etc) ?

Hi all!  I feel I've tried a million things to get my surround system up and running, but I haven't succeeded. The error message I get is this:  "There was a problem adding your surrounds. Check the network connection and make sure your products are powered on". I have the following products:Arc One One SL All three works individually, and the two Ones work as a stereo pair.  I've tried rebooting speakers and wifi without any luck. I've also tried factory resetting without any luck.  I've researched quite a lot but haven't found any fixes. As far as I understand, some Sonos issues are due to the router, but without knowing what the issue is, in my case, it seems overkill to buy a new one, especially if it doesn't solve the problem.  I've sent diagnostics if this helps in any way (Sonos support): 2049259484  

Wonder if any one can help. I have just purchased the beam gen2 I have a Roku streamer approx 6 years old and a Panasonic txp42st30b with hdmi arc that's also about 6/7 years old. I know my Roku can play 5.1 as I had it setup on my old amp. Issue is whenever I set it to play anything other than stereo it doesn't work. I hear the 'click' when scrolling through the menu but when I play the actual program I get nothing unless I set audio output to stereo.

I just bought an entirely new set up for our living room. I have heard awesome things about Sonos, so I decided to spend the extra money on the Beam and Sub. I got home and was entirely thrilled to set up my new outfit.. I found that when I watched normal cable (we have Spectrum) that there is a lip sync/audio delay issue.. The beam is connected to eARC, and TV’s/Sonos delay settings are set to “0,” but I still have a slight lip sync issue.. It is driving me NUTS, enough to take both the soundbar back to the store. Apparently I am not the only one with this issue, and I have tried most of the recommended troubleshooting techniques such as setting the audio to “pass-through,” enabling eARC, lowering audio delay to 0, resetting both TV and Sonos. Can someone for the life of me provide a solution?

Hi everyone, After working for weeks, my Sonos Arc won't connect to my LG C1. The HDMI is the official one.I'm using the correct HDMI port.All settings are correct , and I've turned everything problematic off. Nothing will get me past the testing connection screen. I've factory reset my TV and my ARC and tried just about everything but I'm at a huge loss for what to do next. Any guidance you can provide would be hugely appreciated.     

Volume scale on AppleTV via Sonos Arc not displaying

I have connected my Audio Technical AT-LP120 turntable which has built in preamp to my Port and then linked the Port to the Arc but the sound quality is very full of static and sounds horrible.  Had no issues using this turntable with my old receiver and stereo speakers.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  thanks  

Like so many others...I have a new router and started having trouble with my Sonos system. I’ve got a Beam and 2 Play:1 speakers. When 1 of the speakers is plugged into the router, I can control the system from the S2 app. When I try to add the new WiFi network and click “Find My System” it tries a few seconds and goes back to the unclicked “Find My System” button. The new router is an Arris DG3450. I tried getting Sonos to work on this device and failed. I bought a Netgear Nighthawk R6700AX WiFi Router and put the Arris in bridge mode. Network update is still failing.I put my phone on the 2.4Ghz network and tried the setup again but got the same result.I still had my old router so I plugged it in but I removed the previous network from the Sonos system when I first started the setup process so it was acting the same way.The system works with 1 speaker plugged into the router but won’t let me add a trusted network. I ran a diagnostic and got the nu

Unable to play airplay on arcI have a sonos arc and two sonos one. Airplay works fine on sonos one. However it never works on Sonos Arc. Have tried multiple troubleshooting steps given by customer support(60+ mins). But no luck so far. Steps performed:Tried aiplaying from another mac, ipad and iphone. Removed wifi extenders from setup. Switched arc from wireless to wired with wifi still on. Multiple restarts to router, arc, iphone. Factory reset of arc(Even though it was not recommended).But no luck so far. 

Hi,I hope to find help here, because after hours of troubleshooting I’m completely lost. 😰Since 3 days all of my speakers disconnected from the Wifi. All at the exact same time. Since then, none of the speakers were able to reconnect. While digging into the root cause of the issue, I’ve recognized, that the speakers send DHCP Discover messages and the DHCP server replies with DHCP Offer messages. After the DHCP Offer, there is never a DHCP Request message from the speakers. I’ve dumped the traffic on the DHCP Server and on the access point (Unifi U6-Lite). The packets were seen on both ends. Although I don’t see any RX/TX drops, I can’t confirm that the DHCP Offer ever reached the speaker.The weird thing is, based on the Unifi Controller information, all speakers are assigned to the correct reserved DHCP addresses, but none of the speakers is reachable.I’ve gone through countless troubleshooting hints within the community and Google searches, i.e. 

I have wired surround speakers connected to the Sonos system but no sound is coming through. I’ve tried resetting the Arc and the amp but still nothing. I tried full music and also nothing. The system says surrounds are connected. Any help would be appreciated. 

Hi All,I was on the point of posting an issue but found a fix and thought I would share it in case anyone else is having the same issue.I recently bought the Beam (gen2) and 2 x One SL speakers. Almost immediately I had sound drop out and picture break-up.We previously had an LG wirtesed surround system with no issues.I spent an age trawling the community for a fix/solution, changing settings and options on the TV to no effect.Programmes on the TV were fine but switching to my Apple TV (4th Gen) caused all the problems.I switched from ARC to optical and back again with no improvement.The solution was simple enough, updating the Apple TV software to it’s most recent update.Immediately it has resolved the problem.If you’re having any issues, check your TV and peripheral kit software for updates. Hope that helps. Stewart

Hello AllI recently had a system installed consisting of a Beam (in the bedroom) two Sonos Five’s (one kitchen & one living room) and an Arc w/ Sub and 2 SL Ones in the basement Entertainment room.  Regularly the Arc, Sub and SL Ones will disappear from the app (sometimes all, sometimes only one or two).  Less frequently one of the Fives will disappear and rarely the beam is gone.  The beam and two Fives can often be corrected simply by unplugging them.  Often, however, the issue in the Entertainment room is not corrected by a simple unplugging and I’ll lose patience attempting to fix and go focus on something else.  When I return the speakers show back up in the app.  Can anyone shed light on this issue, Please?

Hi. Can I use Sonos Arc + Sonos Amp for Indoor Ceiling Speaker + Sonos Amp for Outdoor Speaker all connected together to a single TV..? Can I play independently OR merge the TV Sound on Sonos Arc / Sonos Amp for Indoor Ceiling Speaker / Sonos Amp for Outdoor Speaker when I have connected all 3 Sonos product on Wifi Network..?Thanks in advance.

Hi. I have logged a ticket with Sonos. But I thought I'd ask here. Listening to a playlist on amazon unlimited.  Some of the songs I can here at setting 12, but the next track comes in and is really loud. Sometimes the bass goes really heavy. I pause it, start again and it clears. We tested with support and thought it was an android issue,  but also does on IOS too. Been like it for a few months. I'm wondering if it's a track being played in Atmos and then the best track is HD??Is this a common bug? I read alot of various problems,  but not necessarily this. Thanks. Have a good day.
