I have a Philips 50PUS7505/12 and just purchased a Beam Gen 2 which is connected via HDMI ARC.
I have set the TV settings to allow CEC and ARC on. I have set Philips TV to Multichannel (Bypass) and everything is working perfectly from my Fire TV 4K Max.
however every so often, I think when I play Dolby atmos films on fire tv apps (Apple TV app, Netflix’s, Disney Plus) , I lose all sound through the beam.
the only way to get sound back is to switch TV multichannel off and back on again.
it works and the. Couple days off again.
Is this a known issue?
is this because I have ARC HDMI and not EARC?
is this a Philips Issue, Fire TV Issue or Sonos.
