Beam (Gen 2) won’t connect to wifi

I have a Move, Roam SL, Play 1, and two Play 3’s connected to my home wifi (5g) but the Beam Gen 2 won’t connect. It doesn’t even see the network. I’ve been through tech support 3 times and the Beam still won’t see or connect to the network even after I manually put in the network name and password.

The Beam is a new device.

Anyone have any suggestions?

If by 5g you actually mean 5GHz then that is correct as the Beam will only connect over 2.4GHz. This is due to the Beam’s 5GHz radio being reserved for communicating with surrounds/sub.

I connected everything to the 2.4 ghz network, and have two Play 3’s set up as satellites - everything works fine now.
