Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I thought the new app has sort of stabilized, but then this last week it's back to tricks and stupidity -- speakers disappearing from system, lots of mysterious playback errors where it just keeps saying "Couldn't play content" and "Something went wrong." Now it's doing a thing where it will play in one room through the touch controls but in the app the room is listed as "No content.".I've updated, rebooted, etc. Anyone have any suggestions? Or is this all filed under "WTF is wrong with the new app"?

I found a pair of Polk TSi100 bookshelf speakers and wonder if these will match my Sonos Connect Amp Gen 2?Specs for TSi100 are: 20 watts to 100 watts per channel, 8 ohms, 53 Hz to 25,000 HzSpecs for the amp are: 2 x 55W 8 ohms, 22 Hz - 20,000 HzAt a glance I thought these speakers is a close match but I do not have experience in these stuff.Also these speakers have been rated well.Can anyone help please? 

I just started using Sonos Move as my desktop PC’s speaker, and I’ve encountered an issue with it. Here is a description of how I encounter this problem:This issue is only for video media players (at least for YouTube- and Spotify videos).  At the start of the video playback sound output has little to no delay and works correctly. When pausing the video, audio stops right away, and speaker functions correctly. However, when playback is resumed, there is no sound for the first 5-7 seconds of the video. This issue persists for every video player that I try to use Sonos Move with. Issue is not caused by my PC, as it persists on my mobile device.I tried searching online for an answer and tried contacting the customer support with no luck. It’s a shame, that this issue stops me for using this speaker as my PC’s speaker and I’d really hope it gets solved. I really like the sound quality and versatility of this speaker,

Hi all, I have a gen 5 that I bought from new, I’ve had to reset it and I now have a green flashing light but I can’t seem to find it on my Sonos app… tried resetting a couple of times but i cant find it on the app in my iPhone….any idea what I’m doing wrong?

Right now I almost regrett to have moved to a Sonos ARC Ultra + Sub + 2xERA300 setup as the center channel of the Arc Ultra overpowers the left and right channels which means that you have almost no directional stereo effect from the front.The center channel is at least 5bB louder than the left an right channels, you can notice this easiely by playing a surround sound test video which you would usually use to finetune the channel volumes when using an AVR.We need an option to change the center channel volume of the Arc Ultra to actually hear the left and right channels.Trueplaytuning does not change the current behaviour, speech enhancement makes it worse.

this an addendum to my recent post regarding upgrading Play:1s to Era 100s which appears solved. My old Play:1s are now in a different room. These are available as a speaker pair in the Sonos app but do not show as a playback option in Apple Music Airplay.I much prefer using Apple Music for playback control, Sonos too laggy. I suspect i will need to power down speakers, router etc However i have a Sonos Move in another part of the house which shows up with no issues.Im using Netgear Orbi WiFi.

I’d like to suggest that an option is provided to allow a pair to be switched from stereo to dual mono. I know I can separate the pair to get this effect but it’s not straightforward as both speakers have Alexa enabled. Separating things confuses the setup when reconnecting the pair.  I have two Ones in the kitchen and on a nice day I relocate one to the bottom of the garden. 

Hi all.I have Sonos S1 equipment.  I got a new CD which I ripped to Itunes, updated my Sonos library and went to play but the sound was really distorted. I tested the CD in a seperate CD player and the disc is faulty.  I deleted it from Itunes and bought another copy which works fine. It’s ripped to Itunes, Sonos library updated and plays fine, however Sonos is now showing that along with the new one the original faulty one is still in my library, which it isn’t?  It even plays the faulty version somehow if I select it?  I’ve checked my Itunes library and only the new one is there, but to be on the safe side I’ve deleted it then added it again several times, and updated my Sonos library 4 or 5 times, but the phantom CD is still there - any ideas how I get rid if it?  Any help gratefully appreciated. 

I just moved across country, and now I can’t connect or reset my Sonos Sub. I believe it’s a gen 3. It had the infinity symbol on the join button. what happens is my Sonos app recognizes the sub. It’s starts the add procedure. The app joins the subs network. Then the app asks me to press the join button.i press it repeatedly, but the app never sees it and eventually times out.I have tried the reset procedure on the sub. I hold the join button while plugging in the power. The light flashes orange while I am holding it. And never changes. I’ve held the  button for around 2 minutes.  Any suggestions?  thank you. ed

Very displeased, So by some reason my internet provider is not working, but I have the wifi (in my house) working properly. Now if you want to use your Sonos equipment is useless, because the system won’t work or stream.its ridiculous!! You can stream AirPlay, ok as a resource solution, but why can’t you connect to Sonos, and use the speakers normally? (Independent of having internet signal or not!?) Shamefull…

Chciałabym bardzo aby można było dodawać nie tylko surround w Sonos Amp ale także żeby była możliwość dodania jeszcze surround Back oraz górne głośniki do Dolby Atmos . Then this system would be perfect.

I have Beam + Sub + Ikea Symfonisk HT system and would really appreciate support for TruePlay in my Pad Pro (M4). My old iPad (Air gen 2) if just a tad too old (15.8 vs 16) and new one is to new, I really enjoy this system but lack of Trueplay is bummer. Beam does not have any support from Android, so I’m out of options for tuning my system. Is there some realistic chance and ETA for Pro iPads to get support?

I can not figure out how to connect my sunmit broadband cable box , my erros wifi and the sonos bridge.  Can anyone help me, please ?!

Has anyone ever experienced a problem with their Music Library/Playlists pausing after an unpredictable period of time, half-way or so through a song, then nothing for (again) an indiscriminate length of time (usually, a minute or two), then starting up again after skipping the next two songs?

I have an Amazon music playlist with 198 songs on it.  The last 2 songs on the playlist are by Gorillaz, 19-2000 and 19-2000 (Soulchild remix).When I use the SONOS app or website to shuffle the playlist, it shows only 100 songs in the queue... ...until the first track has played and then it magically increases to 198 songs in queue...The issue is that the additional 98 songs are only the 2 Gorillaz tracks.  Any ideas whats going on and how to fix it?  I like Gorillaz occasionally but not when its almost every other track!

I know this is not helpful, and I apologize for it: it’s just a rant. But I am sick and tired of frequently having to “reauthorize” my sources. My main only remaining sources are TuneIn, Apple Music, and Hearts of Space (I deleted my other sources, as trying to maintain them was just too much trouble); and every time I try to play one of them on my Sonos speakers it is a gamble whether it’s going to just work, like it’s supposed to, or whether I’m going to be told that my authorization has mysteriously “expired” and that I have to “reauthorize” the source. My current music playing system consists of a two Sonos Play 5 speakers paired as Stereo and a Sonos SUB.  I control them from my iMac using the latest OS and it has a 4GB SSD attached to it where my music files are played.About 90%+ I play music from my files.  I have Qobuz but only use that to investigate new music or other music that I might wish to add to my library.Is there a reason I should consider a networked streamer? What benefits, if any might I realized over my current method of doing things?Thank...

Today I successfully updated to the latest 16.3 Firmware and Windows Desktop Controller.I subsequently performed an “Update Music Library Now” from the 16.3 Windows Desktop Controller.Now any Sonos Controller (including SonoPhone, SonoPad) show multiple entries for each compilation album when viewing Albums.Just an example shown below... Does anyone else have this issue?Ross.
