Actually, I should not be shocked that there is no way to remove a speaker, or in my case a Sonos Connect. After all, this is Sonos! I have a pair of Era 100 speakers arriving today, and was planning on setting them up in my living room, using the same name as the Connect -- “Living Room”. I just read in several threads you have to wait until they just drop off from the network. That is insane!
While we’re on the subject, whoever named these speakers “Era” should be fired! Sounds like “Error”!
If Sonos did not make such great sounding speakers, I would have dumped them years ago!
