To answer an incoming call, press the Content Key on Ace once to answer. Press and hold if you want to decline the call.
Are you saying this doesn’t work for you?
Hey Mr T
Using the Content Key does work. However, to confirm, I’m talking about answering a call by swiping on the phones screen. I could use the Content Key but my habit, when wearing the headphones or not, is to swipe to answer the call.
Cheers

I rarely use Ace for calls, but possibly specifying Ace as headphones in the iPhone’s Bluetooth settings may change the experience, which appears to be related more to the iPhone’s iOS than something under Sonos’ control.
If you are not wearing Ace and receive a call, you can amend Ace’s wear detection settings to automatically answer a call by enabling Wear to Answer.
It seems reasonable to me that if you use your phone to answer a call, then it would be the default option for sound, whereas, if the call is answered by the Bluetooth device, the sound is defaulted to the connected device.
Someone else may chime in with a more definitive answer or solution for you, but changing your habit is a simple ‘fix’ for your issue.
Hey, thanks for looking in to that! I’ve tweaked that setting and will test it out. If not, then I think you’re right that I’ll have to form a new habit. The frustrating thing is that my use case is the default for the Airpods, but not the Ace, but that’s probably Apple, not Sonos.
Confirming this adjustment does resolve the issue. Thanks again!
You’re welcome. Both learned something as I didn’t know those iOS settings existed!
