iOS 26 was released earlier today. While I’m not yet brave enough to go for it, I’m curious about other’s experiences with it.

No issues so far, been using it (and Sonos) for about 5 hours at this point.

No issues at all with the Apple update ,,,and i still use the SonoPhone app…no updates to fool with there. Works excellent.

Very underwhelming.  Sonos works fine and looks no different. Even Trueplay works.

On the iPhone SE the search bar is now hidden.  This means you can type but you can’t see what you’re typing.

Which search bar? The one in the browser, or the one on the Sonos website for the forum, or some other search?

I’m assuming the one in the app. I have an SE3 but I don’t take major iOS updates until everyone else has and Apple have kicked the bugs out.

It’s absolutely fine. It was in Beta for many months and Apple don’t tend to release until they’re sure.

Interesting. I just looked at my iPhone 16, running the release version of ios26, and the release version of the Sonos client, and the ‘search’ function still appears near the bottom of the page, just above the ‘currently selected speaker’ box.

I wonder if there is something different about the iPhone SE’s screen or implementation. I don’t have one to test.
